She was very friendly and welcoming when I dropped my dog off; she told me that she would be to take Effie on a few walks throughout the day and that she might even take her up to the lake. She sent me daily pictures and updates about the walks she would take with my dog and just overall how my dog was doing. It was nice to get the updates/pictures while I was gone for the week and put me more at ease with leaving her. There was a portion of Effie’s stay that another dog was going to be there and Aspen was very accommodating and wanted to make sure it was ok with me that there was another dog there (it was), but she even offered to go to my home on those days to let Effie out if it was not. About: I live with Boki, a Russian Blue with strong opinions about when he wants attention and when he absolutely does not. That's good training. I've cared for friends' and family's cats solo while they traveled, including shy and antisocial cats and multi-cat households. My approach is the same every time: I don't push it. Cats decide when they're comfortable, and I'm patient enough to let that happen. Some cats warm up in an hour; some take the whole weekend. Either is fine with me. If your cat hides under the bed the whole time you're gone, I'm not going to take it personally. I'll make sure they're fed, their space is clean, and they know someone's there. That's usually enough.

About: I am a part time registered nurse with 5 years of pet sitting experience but currently new to Rover! I specialize in French bulldogs and dogs with mobility issues that may require extra care and medication administration but am also available to care for other breeds and healthy dogs and cats as well! I used to live in San Diego where I walked and cared for many dogs experiencing these issues and would love to continue to help others in my free time. My own dog has a history of skin issues, IVDD & liver issues which I have all learned to manage from my experience. I am an emergency department registered nurse so I also know how to stay calm in emergent situations and give your pets the care and love as I would give my own. I currently work part time so I have a very flexible schedule when it comes to dog walking or watching your animal in my home. I currently live in an apartment near the flats which is a very safe and dog friendly community. I walk my own dog four times a day and we also have a dog park for dogs that need to get more energy out. I am a helicopter mom when it comes to my own dog being around other dogs as far as safety so I would do the same for your dog as well. When my dog is not outside we relax in the apartment, play ball and I let him chew on only Nyla or Benebones. My dog also is one to get into anything left out so my place is very clean and nothing is ever left out on the floor, bed or closet that he might be able to get into.
About: There’s never been a time in my life where I haven’t been active. Realizing I could be both; active AND hang out with some furry friends - it was a no brainer for me. I’ve had two of my own dogs for the majority of my life (cat lover as well), so I’ve most definitely been acclimated to all that they may throw at me. Rescue Work: Volunteer with Golden Retriever Rescue and Needy Dog Adoption. From high-energy pups to gentle seniors, and every breed in between, I’m ready to give your dog the best part of their day! Can't wait to meet your pup! Currently I am working part time but willing to make necessary changes to fit your schedule for your dog! Usually only 3 Days a week in the mornings but of course that can change to fit you and your pup as long as I’m given two weeks notice in advance. Currently I am not able to board any dogs but I know various parks and walking trails to take the dogs. My dog isn’t comfortable with other dogs currently just because she is so old.
About: I’ve had multiple cats and dogs growing up! My animals are one of my top priorities. In the past I would stay in homes of families who were in need of a pet sitter. I did this for multiple years before I began to work at a pet store. During this time, I continued to board puppies for multiple weeks at a time. I have flexible availability throughout the weekday. I am open to work around an owners schedule for what best suits their availability as well. I am open for last minute inquires, if needed. I have two bunnies and two cats! It works best for me to come to you and your pet. I am able to come by your home/apartment or even take your animal to the park, if requesting.
About: I grew up with a house filled with adopted and rescued pets including a cat who gave us 3 liters! As if that wasn’t enough for me, I also worked at a dog day care working with multiple dogs at once and catering to each specific need while encouraging proper play. My best friend was my Great Dane/Border Collie who just recently passed on, but he left me all the life lessons I need to care for others! I am available 24/7 with my remote job! I’ll be able to be extremely attentive to all pet needs. I love any and every excuse to get outside and active so no energy level is too much for me! We have a pet friendly apartment with friendly dogs throughout the neighborhood. We have a beautiful front yard as well as parks all around us!

About: I work from home on a flexible schedule and can accommodate mornings, mid-day and evening times. If you’re unsure just ask! :) I have several years of experience caring for cats and dogs and understand how important communication and updates are when you trust me with your pet. I work from home full time, so your pet will have plenty of company and attention. Your dog will also have the company of my friendly dog, Paloma, a 2 year old mini Bernedoodle. We have plenty of space and toys to have fun inside, as well as a walkable neighborhood for us to explore. I have multiple dog beds for sharing and an extra crate that can be used if needed.

“Aspen was so great. I was nervous about using rover and leaving my dog with a stranger, but Aspen was amazing. She was very friendly and welcoming when I dropped my dog off; she told me that she would be to take Effie on a few walks throughout the day and that she might even take her up to the lake. She sent me daily pictures and updates about the walks she would take with my dog and just overall how my dog was doing. It was nice to get the updates/pictures while I was gone for the week and put me more at ease with leaving her. There was a portion of Effie’s stay that another dog was going to be there and Aspen was very accommodating and wanted to make sure it was ok with me that there was another dog there (it was), but she even offered to go to my home on those days to let Effie out if it was not. I would definitely recommend Aspen and would use her again in the future :)”
