My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

About: I love animals! After having my daughter I opted to pet sit for friends instead of adopting another dog of my own, and it's been a great treat. Now I'm opening up my services to others! I have a great fenced in yard and will make sure your fur-baby gets regular walks around town. I've volunteered with shelters and rescue organizations, and been through a lot of training with my own dogs. I work from home, so am able to provide walks in the morning and evening, and potty breaks throughout the day. I am happy to follow any protocol for care. About: As a remote Registered Nurse (RN), I bring a clinical eye to pet care. I notice subtle changes in behavior or health that others might miss. I’m comfortable administering medications in any form, from pills to inhalers, and my own pets are on daily medication routines so it’s second nature. My background in farming gave me hands-on experience with animal health and handling, and I’ve worked with my own dogs on training from puppyhood. I’m home all day, every day, so your dog gets constant attention and care, not just a place to play and sleep. I work from home Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, with a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time in the mornings, evenings, and throughout the day. I have lots of time for walks, potty breaks, and playtime, and my job allows me to step away whenever your pup needs attention. I can work from my office or the couch, wherever your dog is most comfortable. On my days off I tend to stay close to home, and if I do need to run an errand I won’t be gone long and can always accommodate you and your dog’s needs. I share my home with three animals who are very well loved. Haddie is my 7 year old spayed terrier mix, about 22 pounds, and my two cats are Zuzu, a spayed senior, and June, who is 4 years old and also spayed. Each of them has their own dietary and medical needs, so I’m already in the routine of specialized diets and medications. Your dog will fit right into that level of care. Haddie goes out every two to four hours and we walk together every day. There’s also plenty of backyard playtime. The backyard is not currently fenced, but a fence is going up soon. In the meantime I have a post with a long leash line in the yard and keep Haddie on a harness. I am always outside with her when using the leash line and never leave her unattended, and will do the same for your dog. My home is clean, open, and pet friendly. The furniture and beds are fair game for your dog. I do have a dedicated cat room with a gate that only the cats can fit through, so they always have their own safe space. All of my houseplants are pet safe as well. I also live at the end of a dead end street near the cul de sac, so it’s a quiet area with only local traffic and no busy roads nearby.

Although, he is in school most of the time. I do not usually come out late in the evenings due to my son’s bedtime, but can make it work if you are located close by. About: As a child I was always the person that was bringing home the lost and injured animals I came across. Not much has changed as an adult. I worked with a pet rescue for over a decade, unfortunately the rescue was dissolved but my love for animals has not faded. I have experience with many different species of pets, ranging in age from newborn and needing to be fed every 2 hours to senior animals that need extra care and patience. I am experienced in giving medicine, and providing all the love and attention your fur babies deserve. I am currently in a career transition and taking classes part time at a local college so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets and make sure they have as much love as possible. I am very diligent in making sure all of your requests are followed to the letter. I personally have a dog that needs wiped after she potties to prevent UTIs and it is a deal breaking for me when I can tell a sitter has not followed my instructions. I understand that routine is important and strive to be a few minutes early for every appointment. I also understand that someone other than yourself caring for your beloved furbaby can be stressful for both you and them. I strive to ease as much of that stress for both parents and furchildren as possible. As a pet parent myself who also uses a sitter when I have to be away for any length of time, having that trusted sitter is life saving.
About: I grew up riding horses and spending most of my free time at the barn, where I eventually started working and gained years of experience with all kinds of animals, especially dogs. I’ve house-sat countless times for my former trainer, taking care of her four Dobermans, along with other pets and farm animals. When she began breeding Dobermans, I was hands-on in raising several litters, giving me extensive puppy care experience. This past summer I was the head caretaker and instructor for five Golden Doodle puppies at a girls’ summer camp. I managed their feeding schedules, socialization, crate training, and daily care. I also have a strong foundation in animal health and behavior from both school and hands-on work in animal-focused environments. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to older dogs who just want some gentle company. I’m confident, reliable, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’d be honored to care for yours like they’re my own! I attend Warren Wilson College, which is a work college meaning I work 12 hours a week on campus in addition to my classes. Despite that, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to consistently prioritize pet care. My mornings are free until 10am, and my evenings open up after 6pm throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday, and I can board or house-sit over the weekends (Friday–Sunday). Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and animal care, I’m reliable and great at time management. I truly enjoy building pet care into my routine- it’s something I look forward to! I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs as much as possible. My approach to pet care always depends on what makes your animal feel safest and most comfortable. For cats, I follow their lead- whether that means quiet companionship, lots of play, or giving them space. I’m happy to stick to any routine they’re used to, and I’ll make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for in your home. With dogs, I’m naturally very active and love spending time outdoors. There’s a beautiful creek and plenty of trails near my school, and- if you’re comfortable with it- I’d love to take your pup out for some light adventuring and enrichment! I’m also totally happy to stick to their normal walking route and routine if that’s what they’re used to. I’m attentive, always respectful of your preferences, and always focused on keeping your pet safe, happy, and well loved.

My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for several years, growing up we always had family dogs, and even now taking care of friends & families dogs while they are on vacation. My home has plenty of space as well as a nice sized backyard that they can run around and play in. My dog is always looking to make a friend and is very sweet towards people and other dogs. If you have specific instructions regarding care for your dog, I will make sure that they are cared for the way they are used to! I work full time as a waitress, and I am done most days by 2pm, so I have the rest of the day to take care of pups! I’m usually off Monday’s as well! I have a fenced in backyard, as well as a dog of my own to keep your dog company while I am at work! I have spare dog crates & bowls, unless you prefer to bring your own!
