“How very fortunate we are (Dustin dog and me), and what a huge relief it has been to have connected with Nancy and her sweet Roxy. When our Weimaraner got ill and died suddenly I needed to switch from having our pet sitter staying at our house to the sitter's house so Dustin wouldn't be alone several hours each day. He also needs canine friends but is often reactive (growl, bark, snap if he is scared enough) and needs exposure, time and patience when meeting a new dog. He is not comfortable being handled (he is 14 pounds) by new people. Nancy and Roxy have been wonderful in keeping him in his comfort zone and gaining his trust. After several successful short daycare sessions we will start short boarding stays before our out of town trip. Needless to say I give Nancy the highest recommendation.”

About: I’ve always had at least two dogs in the house, and have always loved caring for cats! I have plenty of experience taking care of horses and chickens, and I’m no stranger to taking care of many pets at one time, for example, 3 large dogs, 3 cats and 3 horses at the same time! I have a super open availability this summer, with more than enough time for late nights, early mornings, and overnight work! I have reliable transportation and a super free schedule to care for furry friends! I live in a condo with two elderly chihuahuas (almost 15 years old!) named Glory and Hero, as well as a super loving mutt rescue named Mysti! About: When I was 12 years old, I had 12 pets and took care of them all. These included birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, cats and dogs. I started out my day by walking the dog. In 2006 I had my own dog walking service and walked golden retrievers, labs and shepherds. Now I walk my daughter’s Whippin. I love to care for senior pets and even had experience with my 20year old cat who needed fluid injections every few days. I teach piano and voice five days a week between 3pm and 7 pm. I would have 3 hours to spend with your pet in the morning and 2 hours at night. This will include feeding and or walking outdoors in nature, spending cuddle time and also playtime. I follow directions from the owner to the letter and don’t hesitate to call or text if a question comes up. I make sure the home looks like it did when I arrived and that the food bowls are cleaned. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide fresh water, take them on walks, clean up after them, and spend quality time playing or simply keeping them company. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure, and I always send updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away. If caring for pets in my own home, I create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment where they can feel comfortable. I maintain consistent feeding and potty schedules, provide supervised playtime, and give them plenty of attention and affection. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs whether that means extra exercise, basic training reinforcement, or gentle care for senior pets so they feel at home and well cared for at all times.
