“My dog LOVES Shanelle and her dog, Ray. He goes 2x a week and is SO excited when I drop him off and exhausted when I pick him up after work. Shanelle sends me constant pictures and videos while I’m at work and I feel so comfortable/ relieved knowing he is there enjoying his day. Highly recommend 🐾”

About: Growing up on a farm taught me to care for all animals with gentleness and respect. I have eperience training our puppy who is now 3 years old. I am all about rewards for positive behavior! I work remotely as an artist and I am a stay at home mom! My week days are very flexible since I make my own schedule. I am available Monday-Saturday anytime from 8-5, unless otherwise noted. I play interactive games with our dog and love taking her on long walks. Fun exercise is so good for dogs! I will do the same for your pups as I do my own.

About: Hi there! I’m Amy, a lifelong dog lover and dog mom to Riley, a sweet and sensitive 3 year old Mini Australian Shepherd. I’m from the DC area, lived in NYC and Philly after college, and moved to Columbus in fall of 2024 with my partner Jake. We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house on the border of Victorian Village and Harrison West. We both work from home and have a fenced backyard, so your dog will have plenty of space to explore and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your pup is playful or prefers alone time, I’m here to make sure they feel safe and loved. One of the reasons I started doing Rover is because I wanted to find friends for Riley to spend time with during the day. He enjoys playing with dogs who are around his size (30lb) or smaller. I’m excited to meet your pup and would love to set up a meet-and-greet to learn all about their unique personality and needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m home the majority of the day, so I’m able to provide plenty of attention and potty breaks. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment. I’m mindful of each dog’s personality and I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to help them feel at ease.

“Andrew was a wonderful sitter! This was the first time I’ve ever used Rover for Doggy Day Care and it was such a positive experience. Andrew was flexible with us, as we were traveling to and from Cedar Point. He took Piper on several fun, long walks. He lives in a beautiful area, perfect for a pup to relax and also to enjoy nature. He sent pictures and was responsive with updates. I highly recommend him and would definitely rebook.”

“She took awesome care of my two babies even after they totally act like they had no home training kept in contact and was even accommodating with picking up early and dropping off late I appreciate her so much highly recommended and will definitely use again”

“Katie was extremely professional and we knew our fur baby was in good hands. We only needed day care for a quick trip in town but she's the first person we'll call if we have needs in Columbus again. Highly recommend!”

I do this full time and I care for your pet as if they are my own. They come to my house and get filled with love and affection 💜 I have a walking trail, and a big park close to me I love to take dogs on walks to either places . About: PLEASE READ FULL BIO BEFORE SENDING A REQ IT GOES OVER HOUSE RULES AND WORK HOURS💕Ive cared for many animals of many kinds since about 12 years old. I’m 27 now,and have found my closest connection of all animals is with with the dogs. I began my journey to becoming a dog groomer in January of 2019, since then I have done a combination of pet sitting, nannying and dog grooming. I love to groom so if your looking to pamper your pup I am also taking new grooming clients. I am looking to get more into pet sitting and dog walking as I feel it will allow me to connect with the dogs on a deeper level that I at times don’t have time to do with the fast paced industry of grooming.I am CPR certified for canines with pet tech. I work as a dog groomer Wed-Sat from 9-4:30 when I’m not working I’m mostly outside with my dog and certainly don’t mind more companionship! Animals are my passion and I’m eager to grow clientele and make lasting bonds so that your pet feels at home even if they are away from home. I live in a quiet tucked back community that is very low traffic, there are lots of grassy paths through out the neighborhood , I offer oodles of dog toys and am big on disinfecting to prevent any spread of illness to keep our loved ones safe at all times I am CPR certified with pet tech for canines however I am also located 14 minutes from a 24 hour vet in case of any emergency’s, I have cameras in the home as well so that pets can be monitored from my phone at all the times if multiple dogs are in the home or if they choose to take a snooze in any other rooms:) I have a 6 year old neutered male golden(Floyd) that is especially fond of smaller dogs and lady dogs though he gets along with most dogs. In the event your dog does not prefer other dogs Floyd has lots of family that he loves to go visit so that your pup can have the one on one needed.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, parrots, hamsters, fish during all my life. Not only mine, also my friends’ pets. Now I feed squirrels on my backyard (nobody in the house should know about it) I’m available to see my fluffy friends on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - before 6 p.m. and after 9 p.m. , any other day - full-time. I create such atmosphere so that pets can have the time of their life: play hide-and-seek, pat their bellies as much as needed. I don’t give bones to them (if only it’s a toy-bone or kind of snack you bring)!

“Sarah and Clay were so wonderful to Chance. They and their cute Golden wore him out and he had such a great time. Sarah was great about providing updates and photos! Will definitely rover with them again!”

“Lynn and Jeff were wonderful! They were willing to help us with only two days notice when we found ourselves without anyone to watch our two labs for several hours. Our pups were well taken care of and we would definitely use them again.”

“Griffey had such a good time with Tracie and her family! They let us come over and make sure he would get along with their dog before and it made us feel so reassured about his visit. They sent updates throughout the day and we are so happy with how everything went. We will definitely ask for Tracie again!”

“Our dogs had a wonderful time with Kevin! They enjoyed a walk and playtime in the backyard. They came home happy and tired. Kevin communicated well and even sent us pictures. It was great not worrying about our dogs while we were away. 💯 would recommend Kevin!”

About: While I didn’t grow up around animals, in adulthood, I’ve discovered a new love - pets! I’ve cared for dogs for over 2 years now, including my own aussidoodle, Alfi! 🐶 I’ve also dog-sat and boarded pups for neighbors, including extended periods with enough advance notice. I can handle energetic dogs or senior pups who prefer to chill, give baths, and love walks. My complex has 2 decent sized dog parks, perfect for safe playtime with or without other dogs! I currently work from home 4/5 days a week and travel an hour each way on Wednesday to go into an office. Wednesday typically won’t work unless I have 1 week notice, I can flex my days. I can take care of the pets in the morning before work, on lunch/ breaks, and after - which is where the park and walks come into play 😀 while working from home, I’d make sure they have water and love! In my home, you can expect your pet to get lots of attention & playtime! I take dogs to one of two dog parks where I live (pretty private and lowkey) - this can be solo or with neighbor dogs I know, depending on their & your comfort level & personality. I consider myself a good reader of dog interactions, and always opt on the side of caution! Baths would be done in my spare tub with Earthbath products or your own and walks are tailored to your dog’s pace & needs. I aim to create a calm, safe, and fun environment and communication ahead of time is key. 🗝️

Amy B.Star Sitter
“Amy B has experience with a variety of animals. She grew up on a farm and has worked with cattle, horses, dogs, cats, sheep, and chickens. Amy is a current dog owner and I have never doubted the safety or well-being of her dog. She has a fenced in yard with room for a dog to enjoy time in and outside. Growing up on a farm taught Amy the value of animal life and the responsibility of caring for animals. She is a dedicated wife and mother and values life. She is confident but not cocky. She is not afraid of hard work. I have witnessed Amy care for her pet by taking her to dog parks, on walks, playing with her, keeping her groomed, and making sure she is watched by a responsible person when she and her family are out of town. I have benefited from knowing Amy personally and would recommend her as a dog walker or sitter to anyone.”

“Sierra has been my dog-sitter for more than a year. My little dog could be described as "high maintenance" but he loves going to Sierra's. When we pull into her parking area, he starts wagging his tail and getting excited. When I pick him up (whether it's an overnight stay or a week) he's happy. Sierra will send me pictures of my dog when I'm far away and missing him. Sierra's turnaround with communication is always timely. I'm thankful we found her.”

Upper Arlington dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first use of ROVER. The first moment we met Kevin, all of our helicopter parenting anxiety went away. Kevin went above and beyond our expectations. I can’t wait to watch Luna’s reaction the next time she gets to see her new best friend again. And WE CAN’T WAIT EITHER!! FREEDOM!!🤣

Aysenur did such a great job for my Maltese pup daycare. She quickly responded to my request and the communication with her was so easy. Aysenur has a nice clean room in a nice neighborhood. My dog was already missing her when we were leaving her place. Highly recommended!
