About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Canada. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.

“Isabella is fantastic! She wrote great daily updates and sent lots of photos of my 2 cats. It was great that she has had cats and understood how shy they can be and it was nice to see how they warmed up to her over my abscense! I would highly recommend her!”

“We booked Taylor again and plan to continue to book her when we need a sitter for our dogs. She is great with them and we appreciate her thorough updates. It’s hard to leave them behind when we’re out of town, but we know they are in good hands. Thank you (again), Taylor!”

About: As cliche as it sounds, taking care of pets isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. Since I was little, I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds – from snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and dogs of all sizes, to fish and cats, including elderly pets.🐶🐍🐰🐢🐱 I’ve been there for potty training, administering medication, grooming, scheduled feedings, and maintaining teeth hygiene. To me, animals are pure and down-to-earth, and deserve the same respect ❤️ I don’t do this just for the money – I do it because I genuinely care about animals. I’ve heard too many sad stories about boarding pets somewhere, not getting the care they deserve, and the excessive costs involved, and I want to change that. This home is as much theirs as it is mine. I offer a six-foot fully gated yard, big enough for several animals to bask in the sun or play with toys.🌤️ I have several dog beds (and furniture) with enough space to care for your babies. Even the smaller critters or pets that aren’t cats and dogs! I recently used Rover myself and was initially skeptical, worried, and just overall leery about the situation. 😅But it turned out to be a wonderful experience, and now I want others to have the same peace of mind and enjoyment. I want pet owners to feel confident that their animals are in good hands so they can truly relax and enjoy their own vacation, knowing their pets are having a great time too.☺️ And if I could, I’d give myself five out of five stars, rated highly by Forbes ⭐️for providing top notch safety and security to help ease your pet’s separation from you while you’re away. Don’t hesitate to text me on any questions, concerns, or just to chat about your pets. It’s a big decision to make who you can trust your animals with, and I am happy to help 🫶 The question is how do I fit pet care into my routine- but I don’t “fit it” into my routine. I follow my animals routine, and what they need to be their best self. I am make it a priority on managing potty breaks, feedings, treats, and everything in between. It especially helps that I am home most of my days, and wouldn’t mind more company ☺️ It’s not that I just want to “provide care.” I feel like anyone could do that, but it’s more of bonding with that animal. It’s learning their needs, routine, and having patience with them. My goal is for them to not view me as a complete stranger, and more as a good friend to have 💕With that being said- I would love to take your dog on a walk, feed them, grooming, playing, and giving all the love they deserve! If there is good communication and understanding, I would be happy to help with proper medication or medical needs as well 🩷

About: I have experience with deaf, senior and reactive dogs as well as cats. I fostered and trained for Blue River Pet Rescue and have taken dog safety courses with Nebraska Humane Society. I know what it's like to have a scared or sick dog and I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for them when you can't. I am no stranger to a special needs dog and I want to be that person for you and your pet when you need me. My own dog, who passed in April 2025, had CHF and I could barely stand to let him out of my sight. I was lucky that the people who fostered him offered to watch him when needed. Without them, I'm not sure how I would've found someone I could really trust to be patient and kind to him. Now that he's gone, I want to be able to be that person for others. I work completely remote, so I am always home, giving me a great opportunity to care for special needs animals or just animals in general. I work Mon-Fri, 12-8 and weekends are usually free. I live close to a dog park that I took my previous foster to every day and have a nice neighborhood for walks. I have a yard (not fully fenced in) with a tie out leash, though I go outside often and would never leave your pet alone. I got the tie out recently for my foster to help her with separation anxiety but would walk around the yard and area with my own dog for a few minutes every hour or so. I have lots of toys and keep a pet water fountain running at all times. I keep a couple of dog beds throughout the house, so there is always somewhere soft and comfortable to lay down, whether they want to stay close by or would prefer some space. My house is their house while they're here. Besides the trash cans, they are welcome to explore.

About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years and can’t imagine life without them. I’ve had animals of all kinds and have fostered and adopted many over the years. I’m experienced with walking all energy levels, giving medications, and working with anxious or shy pets. Whether it’s a stroll around the block, playtime, or quiet companionship, I treat your pet like family. I’m here to give them the love and care they deserve while giving you peace of mind! I currently have a very flexible work schedule, which allows me to accommodate the needs of most pets while you are away. I would only ever care for a pet if I knew I would genuinely be able to give them my full of attention as I would want someone to do for my pets. I care for every pet as if they were my own—with patience, love, and attention to their individual needs. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistent and stress-free, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or quiet time. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I also provide regular updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. Their happiness and well-being are my top priorities!

University Place pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kelly took great care of our cats while we are out of town! She is friendly, responsible, and is a very experienced cat owner. She administered daily medications to one of our two cats with such needs. Kelly made sure they are happy and healthy while we are gone. We are highly appreciative of her efforts, and would definitely reach out to Kelly again in the future!

Deanna as a wonderful pet sitter! We have a unique situation with our two cats and a 42-year-old turtle, and she handles everything with care and attention. Our cats, Ozzie and Louis, don’t get along, so they live in separate parts of the house, divided by a 7' tall pet gate. Ozzie is usually wary of strangers, but Deanna always takes the time to make her feel comfortable, even setting out treats for her to discover. Louis, on the other hand, really misses us when we're gone, and Deanna goes above and beyond to give him the snuggles and playtime he craves. She also administers his liquid medication with no issues, which gives us great peace of mind. As for our turtle, who I've had for 30 years, Deanna is wonderful with him as well. Although his care is pretty straightforward, she doesn’t just feed him—she also plays his favorite tracking game, which shows how much she truly cares. Overall, Deanna provides exceptional care for all our pets, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.
