“Peyton did a great job dropping off to feed and entertain my 2 cats while I was gone. My place was kept clean and he spent the full 30 minutes with them at each visit.”

“Jenn was excellent with our fur baby and we were instantly relaxed about her when we met her! Solomon had a great time and we would hire her again any day!”

“Alyssa was great with our cat squad! They were all instantly comfortable with her and she showed them all the love while we were away. We will definitely book with Alyssa again!”

About: I grew up loving and caring for dogs since my first pup, Madison, when I was 14. I’m the proud human to my current dog, Callie, who is a 4 year old cockapoo. I often watch my friend’s dogs and work from home so I’m always around and able to go on multiple walks a day. I work from home in west Charlotte so your pup won’t be left alone. I’m also able to take multiple walks a day :) I have a large, shaded, fenced-in yard with plenty of room to play. My neighborhood has sidewalks and a park nearby (currently being updated but reopening soon)
“Serefina was wonderful with our 3 cats! They’re typically very shy around new people but she got them to come out on the first day and play. She sent lots of pics and we felt so happy that our cats loved her. Highly recommend for any your pet sitting needs!”

About: My experience is marked by personal and professional work with animals. I was the team lead overseeing operations at a dog care facility for two and a half years, where I worked firsthand with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperments in group play, one on one enrichment, and individual training sessions. I specialize in caring for reactive and behaviorally challenged dogs, particularly rescues. I am capable of administering medication in any oral fashion including gentle pilling, as well as supportive training, senior care, and providing baths (including curly fur types) and nail trims. I have a varied job schedule that provides sporadic extended free time, especially during the summer. I accept pet care clients based on my availability, so I am available for week-of bookings and advanced bookings. When visiting pets, I recognize that I am in their home and act accordingly. Prior to a visit, I make every effort to understand your pet's daily routine so that I can provide a stable, familiar routine while visiting. Additionally, I make bonding a top priority, and take time to get to know each pet I work with so that I can provide individualized care and work to become a trusted person on their terms.
“5 ⭐️, maria was great. She was prompt, communication was good, everything was left neatly, & my two cats looked happy in the pictures she provided, which put my mind at ease. I would recommend 👍🏼👍🏼”
“Burgess was great! She was very friendly when we had our meet & greet and was great meeting my cats (it’s hard to find people who are good with cats). Due to one of my cats being on medication, she was great at being consistent with her drop-ins and my boys looked healthy and happy when I got home after being gone for 2 weeks. I’d definitely have Burgess take care of my boys again!”

“Alicia is an amazing pet sitter. She took care of my three kittens including my senior cat that is sick and we couldn't be more grateful for all of her help! We have a few special requests for him that can be a lot to ask and she did them without any issues! We will most definitely keep booking with her. I 100% recommend her service”

I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, as well as multiple dog homes, seniors with special care, and those with medical needs. Prior to walks, I will look the area up and see the safest, dog friendly area. I live in an apartment complex that is very dog friendly with a dog park attached and a 5 min walk to the greenway. Plenty of friendly dogs for pup to with play if they are up for it!
“Mary does a wonderful job! Walks with my dog, gives lots of pets and attention to my cat and dog! Know they are excited to see her when I’m traveling.”

“Grace went above and beyond in caring for our (sometimes spicy) senior kitty, Hope. She came twice a day, was totally on top of everything, and kindly helped clean up when our cats stomach was getting upset (happens when we’re away). She also really understood how to work with our testy girl, to give her space, and let her come to you. We’re very grateful to have found such kind sitter nearby!”

“Katelyn was fantastic with Maddison! I am thankful for her great care and time she spent with her! I look forward to having her watch Maddie for any future trips.”

“OMG. This seriously could not have been a better experience! Lindsey took the intiative to meet me and my pup before booking (her idea). She was very transparent and sweet and that helped ease my worries of letting a stranger into my home while i was away. She spaced out the time well and spent lots of time with my pup. He probably loves her more than me now! Haha! She also noted through the app, the start and end of her visits and sent cute postcards each time. I am so thankful for her service and her love and attention towards my sweet baby.”

University Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
I could not have asked for a better person to watch my dogs. I have never had a person outside the family to look after them, nor have I given a person access to my home. I recommend Ruben 100% and will gladly call on him again. My dogs took to him on his first visit that assured me I made the best decision. Thank you so much Ruben, it meant so much to me that you made my dogs and I very comfortable.
We had a great experience using Rover, and Amanda was fantastic! She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of our dog. It gave us real peace of mind knowing everything was in good hands. We would absolutely book with Amanda again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Serefina was wonderful with our 3 cats! They’re typically very shy around new people but she got them to come out on the first day and play. She sent lots of pics and we felt so happy that our cats loved her. Highly recommend for any your pet sitting needs!

Kathryn was absolutely amazing with my cat, Marty. This was the first time I ever left him with a Rover and she knew I was a nervous first-time Mom, ha. He was timid at first, but by the second day, he was roaming the apartment with her like a pro and playing with all of his toys and wands. She sent me daily updates, took sooo many pictures and videos (one photo was so good that it's now my phone backgroun!) and I could tell Marty truly loved her. Will absolutely be using Kathryn the next time I have to travel, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter!
