About: I grew up loving and caring for dogs since my first pup, Madison, when I was 14. I’m the proud human to my current dog, Callie, who is a 4 year old cockapoo. I often watch my friend’s dogs and work from home so I’m always around and able to go on multiple walks a day. I work from home in west Charlotte so your pup won’t be left alone. I’m also able to take multiple walks a day :) I have a large, shaded, fenced-in yard with plenty of room to play. My neighborhood has sidewalks and a park nearby (currently being updated but reopening soon)
“Rachel was amazing with our boy Titan! She took good care of him, gave him lots of love and kept me up to date on how he was doing. Will definitely hire again!”

“Alyssa did a fantastic job caring for my cats and home. She was a great communicator and sent pics every visit of happy cuddling kitties that I could tell she really shared some love with. She was detailed in her care of the home and went above and beyond with making sure things were held together while I was gone. I’m so thankful for her and would highly recommend to any friend!”

“Peyton did a great job dropping off to feed and entertain my 2 cats while I was gone. My place was kept clean and he spent the full 30 minutes with them at each visit.”

About: Hi, I'm McKenna! My family currently owns 3 German shepherds in Dallas, Texas, which I care for intermittently. I've lived with large dogs my entire life, and I have extensive experience walking multiple-sized dogs simultaneously. During my high school years in Texas, I cared for my neighbors' dogs and walked them several times a day. Through my Catholic high school's community service, I was additionally given the opportunity to volunteer at numerous animal shelters. I always walk dogs on a secure leash and/or harness to comply with county animal ordinances. I can follow any behavioral preferences you set forth, such as not allowing your dog to jump during introductions, etc. I am very loving with pets and will not only provide superb care, but also well-deserved belly rubs! I am a former legal assistant, currently studying for the LSAT, which provides great flexibility during weekdays. I am moving to Raleigh at the beginning of August for a career transition, and I can work the entirety of July in the Charlotte area. Safety and kind care are key. I'm committed to the security of your home, as I handled very sensitive and private information while working for a personal injury firm these past 2 and a half years. I will provide a reassuring environment for your furry friend and ensure you stay communicated through photos and quick responses.
“Stephen was great at taking care of our cat. Very communicative, consistent, and reliable. Would definitely ask for his help again! We had peace of mind while we were away for several days. Stephen gave detailed updates and pictures after each visit.”

“Christopher provided great care to my cats while I was away for a while. He made sure to give them extra attention and love! I appreciate the updates on the rover cards, especially the adorable pictures he took. He always arrived on time to feed the cats. They seemed well taken care of when I arrived back home. One of my cats didn't want him to leave and kept wanting attention from him. Thank you for being there for the cats!”

“Kristin was great! We were gone for almost 2 weeks and our cats didn’t miss a beat. She sent great photos & updates. Kitties liked her and had happy tails in all the photos she sent. Will book again for our next trip!”

I'm new to Rover and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets! About: My experience is marked by personal and professional work with animals. I was the team lead overseeing operations at a dog care facility for two and a half years, where I worked firsthand with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperments in group play, one on one enrichment, and individual training sessions. I specialize in caring for reactive and behaviorally challenged dogs, particularly rescues. I am capable of administering medication in any oral fashion including gentle pilling, as well as supportive training, senior care, and providing baths (including curly fur types) and nail trims. I have a varied job schedule that provides sporadic extended free time, especially during the summer. I accept pet care clients based on my availability, so I am available for week-of bookings and advanced bookings. When visiting pets, I recognize that I am in their home and act accordingly. Prior to a visit, I make every effort to understand your pet's daily routine so that I can provide a stable, familiar routine while visiting. Additionally, I make bonding a top priority, and take time to get to know each pet I work with so that I can provide individualized care and work to become a trusted person on their terms.
“Maria did a great job! She was consistent with checking in and sending us updates of our cat! She always took pictures. Our cat is even a little skittish and she came right to Maria!”

“I loved and appreciated Paige’s updates throughout her visits to my cats, and loved her energy when we first met. I know she gave my girls lots of attention and look forward to working with her again!”

“My little girl was taken care of and got to stretch her legs mid day! Definitely gave me so much peace of mind to have such a kind hearted person care for my best friend.”

About: We both work from home. We are very reliable and treat your pup like our own. We understand that every dog is unique and has their own personality and needs. We take time to listen to you and understand your dog. Having two of us care for you pup means they get attention and love the entire time they are with us. Your dog(s) will be the only ones at any one time. We work from home, we often will be working outside writing scripts or doing production work. One of us will always be either cuddling or playing with your dog! We also have a patio where we sit and work. We always stay on the leash when we are outside to ensure everyone stays safe :)
“Mackenzie did a fantastic job taking care of my dog! Not only was she a great communicator, sending pictures and updates, but she went above and beyond in her care for my dog Nova. I was able to trust her completely and had no worries while I was away. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter for their pets and I personally plan to use her again!!”

“Megan was wonderful with our two boys. Prompt and on scheduled with drop in visits, which was comforting because my dog takes pills around the clock. Would highly recommend”

“Melanie was so sweet and took such great care of my kitties! Every day I could tell (through picture updates) that my cats warmed up to her pretty quickly. She even brought in my mail! Would definitely recommend Melanie to watch your fur babies! ❤️❤️”

“Serefina was wonderful with our 3 cats! They’re typically very shy around new people but she got them to come out on the first day and play. She sent lots of pics and we felt so happy that our cats loved her. Highly recommend for any your pet sitting needs!”

Naomi did an excellent job taking care of my cat. The booking was very last minute but she was extremely accommodating. Thanks to her, my furry friend wasn’t alone all day and got to spend quality time with a fantastic pet sitter. She uploaded pictures for each visit showing how well they got along (and he’s picky about his people!) 10/10 Highly recommend.
