Hi, I’m Ava! I’m a professional crazy cat lady with 4 of my own. I’ve been caring for animals since I was very young. Over the years I’ve looked after cats, dogs, reptiles, rabbits, and fish for friends and family. While I do have experience with a variety of pets & love ALL animals, cats are obviously my specialty! I absolutely adore them and I completely understand how important it is to respect their routines and boundaries! I will accept ANY type of cat job! The only thing that may be an issue is apartment units on very high floors. I tend to get quite dizzy going higher than the 8th floor in an elevator and have difficulty climbing more than 2 flights of stairs. Please keep this in mind before booking 🫶 I’ve never owned a dog myself but I’ve cared for quite a few of them. I frequently sit my friend’s Husky & French Bulldog, but I’m comfortable with well-mannered dogs of all sizes. I do have a health condition (I’d be happy to explain if you ask) and therefore would be the most comfortable with doggie friends who only need to be let out into a yard and don’t need to be walked. If necessary, I can provide evening walks in the summer and daytime walks when it’s cooler outside given they are well behaved. I’m not the best fit for dogs who tend to be more rowdy, need an excessive amount of exercise, or have little training. I believe every pet deserves a sitter who is the right match for their needs, so if your dog tends to have those qualities, we may not be the best fit for each other. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to pet care. My goal is to build experience here while providing dependable, attentive care that gives pet parents complete peace of mind. I genuinely treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m very detail-oriented and believe consistency is incredibly important for pets. When I hire a pet sitter for my own animals, I provide detailed care instructions and hope they’ll be followed exactly. I promise to do the same for you, no matter how complicated! Feeding schedules, medications, litter boxes, clean ups, walks, playtime, just say the word and I’ll follow your instructions without cutting corners! :-) I’d love the opportunity to talk with you and provide the kind of care I’d want for my own animals! I want to make sure you can enjoy your time away and put your mind at ease that your babies are in safe hands. No need to worry or wonder 🐾✨

While you’re away, I care for your pets just as much as my own. Please leave me detailed and clear instructions and I will follow them exactly as you wish! I will always make sure your pets get plenty of love and pets when I come visit, unless they prefer to stay in their own bubble :)

We booked Ava for our 2 Siamese cats and could not have been more pleased with her service. She took such good care of the kitties and played with them every visit. One of my kitties requires medicine and Ava made sure he got his meds every day. My cats are peculiar with strangers, but they warmed up to Ava very fast. She watched our cats for a full week while we were out of the country, and gave us so much peace of mind with all the photos of them playing. Best cat sitter I’ve ever had, hands down! We will definitely be rebooking Ava for future needs. 11/10
Ava was amazing with my cat Willow! She followed my care instructions to a T and was very communicative throughout the sitting days and beforehand. Would definitely recommend Ava!
She is phenomenal with all pets! Dogs, cats, lizards, or even snakes! If you’re worried about leaving your pets behind for a trip, Ava will make them feel like they’re on a vacation of their own!

Schedule
I work full time during the week, but my hours are not typical. My current availability is M-F before 11AM & after 7:30PM, then Sat-Sun with open availability. For example, if your pet needs care twice per day, I can do an early to mid-morning drop in and then an evening drop in every day. If you like to spend nights out, I can also come see them at 9pm! Whatever you’d like. I can provide house sitting overnight care every day, but I will need to be at my job (as listed above) most of the day on weekdays. On weekends I can spend more time with your pets if needed!
