“I cannot express how amazing Marissa has been!! My schedule has been insanely unpredictable and Marissa has been there for my pup throughout the whole thing. 1000000% recommend.”

About: Hi, I’m Hanna! I’ve been caring for animals since I was a kid, starting with feeding my neighbor’s 17 koi fish every morning at age 8. I’ve had dogs my whole life, including a Jindo and a Corgi that I raised from six months old. Today, I live with two cats and a puppy (all adopted from Austin shelters), so I’m very familiar with different animal personalities and needs. I recently volunteered with the Austin Animal Center, where I helped care for cats and matched them with adopters. I’m comfortable handling pets that are shy, energetic, or just need a little extra love and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I’m known for being reliable, calm, and detail-oriented. I’ll make sure your home stays secure and that your pets are happy and relaxed while you’re away. I will always treat your pets like my own, with lots of love and safety precautions! I am between jobs so I have all the time in the world to care for your babies. I am flexible based on your schedule. My cats are escape artists so I have become accustomed to making sure the house is always secure. I am always on the lookout for items that my cats may get that could cause them injury. I’m strict about safety in my own home when it comes to my pets, and you can expect the same for your place.

About: Growing up, I had three dogs, one of which I trained to play hide and seek, soccer, fetch, shake, sing, etc. I love animals so much and take really good care of them. I have even been dubbed the “dog whisperer” by several people over the years haha. Regarding more professional experience, in undergrad, I walked one of the chaplain’s dogs. This past summer, I walked and dog-sat for a few families. I’d love to help out in any way I can! I’m a graduate student at IUB, but generally speaking, I am free most mornings and nights, as well as on Fridays and the weekend. I’m pretty good at balancing my time, so I can be pretty flexible outside class hours. I pay a lot of attention to the animals in any home, and so I’d definitely play with them and give them much love. I’d follow any instruction about their feeding and/or walking schedule. I’ve cared for some pretty big dogs in the past, too!

“Kristin, you’re awesome! Thanks for taking care of our little Preston over the holidays. Kristin pays attention to the details and made sure our dog was in good hands while we were out of town. Even wiped his paws after a rainey, wet morning walk. 🐾 5/5.”

“We loved Mariia taking care of our pets for the week. She fed our cat and walked the dog twice a day- was always on time, clearly communicated, and was always friendly and professional. I would trust her in my home anytime.”

“Carolina has been the best walker I’ve had to date! She’s taken care of my pups in home, at her place, and last minute when work goes left. She’s great with them, they’re older and finicky. She goes out of her way to keep in touch and go the extra mile to take care of them. She is super flexible and works with me on my rash schedule to make things work for the dogs. She’s hands down the best experience I’ve had through Rover and the only walker for my dogs! Can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I’ve been honored to call a tabby cat named Gata and a pit bull named Louie my best friends in this lifetime. I know how much your fur babies mean to you because I know how much mine mean to me and I will do everything I can to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness! I am experienced with other animal reactive pets and understand how these special buddies require patience, love, and understanding. Rest assured that as a social worker, I have endless patience and compassion to give to your fur babies. I look forward to becoming your pet’s newest best friend! I work full time and my schedule changes a bit but I can usually accommodate walks/drop ins before 9am and after 7pm. Afternoon walks/drop ins can be accommodated, we'll just need to discuss the best time for them. Because my schedule is a bit more unique, I'm big on communication and am open to discuss in advance any scheduling preferences. I am only offering drop in and walking services at the moment so I can give your pups and kitties some direct love, play, and attention in the comfort of their own home and environment.

“Heather was the first dog walker I've ever hired to walk my dog Molasses. In the beginning I was pretty nervous since I didn't know how Lass would do with someone else walking her and having a new person in my apartment while I was gone. Heather was great because she offered to do a meet and great before out 1st scheduled walk to make Lass and myself feel comfortable. I'm so grateful for this meet up! Lass loves Heather and their walks. Between the super cute photos I get and the love that my dog receives, I couldn't ask for a better walker!”

About: I've care for my own pets for more then 14 years. I learned to take special cares for my baby girl when she was going thru cancer if you ever looking for someone to administer medication to your fur baby. I'm currently working part time but I am open to take care of your pets anytime and anyday of the week. I have available time for your needs and wants. I'm open to long or short term schedules. I am more then happy to accommodate your busy schedules and work with you to assure the happiness of your fur baby. I have an amazing fenced home where your pet and myself will have an amazing time. Everyone at home is open to love and care for your baby.

About: After losing my senior golden in February, I am looking to spend some more time with fluffy friends nearby. I was a dog walker in Dallas for years, I’m excited to make some new four-legged friends here in Austin! I work from home, I can easily stop by to say hi during lunch or check on your friend during the early evening. I just ask that you give me some notice so I am not rushed spending time with your friend. I have a big one bedroom apartment with easy access to grass outside. It was ideal for my senior dog and will be ideal for when your pet comes to visit, too!

About: The best pet care for the best pets — YOURS. I provide everything from walks to drop ins to transportation. I’ve got a wealth of experience from kittens and puppies to seniors, including medically fragile or special needs pets. I am proud to carry supplemental pet sitting/boarding/walking insurance via Pet Sitter’s Associates. This above and beyond any coverage provided via Rover. Rover also offers a discount code for 1st time bookings that I encourage you to use, whether you book with me or with another provider. Looking over my profile, you will see that I am a Star Sitter with reviews that speak for themselves. I offer a comprehensive, “white glove,” pet care experience that provides an alternative to kenneled boarding. As such, my rates are a direct reflection of multiple factors, including my reputation, experience, supplemental insurance, professionalism, and the premium service I provide. There are a multitude of wonderful providers for most budgets on Rover; if you find my rates are more than what you have budgeted for, I encourage you to research any number of caring providers that are closer to what you have planned to invest in pet care. I work from home. In addition to a fenced backyard, my subdivision offers 2 dog parks. Prefer your house or park? I can do that as well! I keep things tidy! From picking up droppings to scooping boxes, it’s doo-doo-able (see what I did there?). I leave your house as you want it — just let me know. My home is secure with a high fence for the yard.

“Nashae was an awesome rover. Great communication and took good care of my pooch while I was away from the house for long hours. She even brought her homemade dog treats! 5 barks!!!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for the last 25 years of my life. I just love how every pet has its own personality and how you connect on different levels with them. I treat every animal like my own, with patience, play and lots of belly rubs! I’m a homemaker so I have plenty of time especially in the mornings when my daughter is at school; and since I just have one kid and one dog I’m very available I have a fence yard in my house and a dog park in my neighborhood as well as a dog park just across the street

About: I'm a dog owner myself and have been for most of my life. I currently have a 4 year-old chocolate lab and a 10 year-old black lab so our days run the gamut from high energy ball chasing with the younger one to leisurely strolls with my senior gal. I also volunteer regularly at Austin Pets Alive as a dog walker where I've gained experience with all types of dogs. My friends sometimes call me the "dog whisperer," not because I possess amazing training abilities, but because dogs seem to "get" me, and I "get" them. I have a career as a freelance theatre director so between gigs I tend to have lots of free time and would prefer to spend it with furry friends.

About: Rewriting your profile: Hi there! I’m Lacy, and I’ve been caring for animals since I was about eight years old. Growing up, I had the joy of looking after our family pets, I’ve given baths to our cats, guinea pigs, and even bearded dragons! Over the years, my love for nurturing life has flourished—not just with animals but also with my cherished plant collection that I've been tending to for over a decade. I provide attentive, loving care to animals of all kinds. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply spending quality time to keep them happy and comfortable, I’m here to ensure your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I’d be honored to be your trusted pet sitter and look forward to meeting your furry (or scaly) family members soon! I work as a server and I can move things around to accommodate you’re sitting needs. There’s never need to worry about what if with me. Give me instructions to follow and enjoy your vacation or work trip without worry. I will snuggle and love them as much as they will allow.

Jessica T.
“Given what an absolute treasure of a human being Jessica is, it's not at all surprising that she's as amazing at caring for dogs as she is. The unparalleled compassion, gentility, thought, and love she brings to caring for human beings are also experienced by all the fluffy, four-legged friends who are lucky enough to hang out with her. I've had the privilege of getting to witness her skills as a dog whisperer firsthand; they listen to her, they have fun with her, and she always goes the extra mile in taking care of them. She goes above and beyond to make sure they have everything they need, and she genuinely loves doing it. Brilliant, responsible, and tenacious, you can trust her with anything and never have to worry. I truly cannot recommend Jessica highly enough. There is nobody better out there.”

Rocio R.
“Solid service. This is one of those cases where doing sometimes ordinary in an extraordinary way wins the prize. All info was clear up front, Was cordial to me and friendly with my dog, asked the right questions before I left, she stayed in constant communication and sent several pictures, she figured things out when issues arose (and notified me immediately). Upon pick up, my dog was so happy he didn’t want to leave (lol!). This was my biggest metric for a successful stay. I was very satisfied. She has the full playbook down. 5 stars. Would work with her again.”

Bryan B.
“Bryan frequently pup sits for our two lab mixes and is simply amazing with them. He is kind, gentle and has them captivated with his dog friendly demeanor. Our pups can be pretty stubborn but are always listening to his every word. He consistantly provides positive renforcement and assists us in working with what training our pups are currently working on. Bryan also volunteers at a pound and takes dogs that are in need of foster homes for walks in his spare time! I highly recommend Bryan as a Rover dog walker/sitter as he is definitely one of a kind and really has a way with dogs.”

Lacy C.
“Lacy is a great pet parent and sitter, having lived with her I saw it first hand. Dogs, cats, reptiles, chickens, and any other furry creature you can think of, not only do they love her, she loves taking care of them! She’s extremely reliable and punctual and knows that your pet is a member of your family.”
