Hannah takes care of my cats as if they were her own. I have an older boy and a younger boy and she always does exactly what they need, cuddles for the former and fetch with springs for the latter. It’s rare I feel comfortable letting anyone watch my boys, but with Hannah I know they are in the best of hands!!!

Mary took wonderful care of our cat. He is diabetic and requires more attention and care, and Mary was absolutely wonderful with everything. We came back to a very happy cat, but I suspect he was a bit disappointed and wanted Mary to come back. Thank you so much!

Jenna did an excellent job following detailed instructions. She always made sure to send pictures and asked questions to ensure the dogs were as comfortable as possible. She had to deal with handymen coming in and out of the house during her stay and went out of her way to keep the dogs safe during the process. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.

About: As the former Manager of Mutts Canine Cantina, I have extensive hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I am comfortable handling energetic puppies, shy or anxious dogs, large breeds, and senior pets who require extra patience and attention. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. What sets me apart is my ability to read canine body language, recognize signs of stress or discomfort, and adapt my care to each dog’s unique needs. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, medication reminders, a consistent routine, or simply extra love while you’re away, I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every dog like family. I also prioritize communication and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I am currently a Psychology student preparing for future Clinical Psychology PhD programs, so much of my day is spent studying, conducting research, and working on academic projects. This flexible schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether your dog needs a walk, a drop-in visit, playtime, or extra companionship, I am committed to providing reliable, attentive care and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. As the former Manager of Mutts Canine Cantina, I gained extensive experience working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am comfortable recognizing canine body language, maintaining routines, and ensuring pets feel secure in their environment. I also have personal experience caring for a senior dog, so I understand the patience, attentiveness, and gentle care older pets often require. I treat every pet as if they were my own and pride myself on being dependable, trustworthy, and communicative, providing regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I've been a dog owner for many years and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I currently have two Miniature Dachshunds, so I'm experienced with dogs of different personalities, routines, and care needs. I have hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding schedules, administering basic medications when needed, playtime, and providing plenty of love and attention. I know that every dog is unique, and I take the time to learn each pet's routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they receive the personalized care and attention they deserve. My goal is to treat every pet like they're part of my own family and give you peace of mind while you're away. I am a graduate student at Ole Miss. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I'm available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as walks and overnight care when needed. I enjoy spending time with animals, so I make it a priority to give each pet plenty of attention, exercise, and care while sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions before every visit. I always make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean, safe environment. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect your space and follow your instructions closely so your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during walks and outdoor time, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, knowledge, and attention I bring to every pet. I’ve been pet sitting consistently since 2018 and have built lasting relationships with many repeat clients who trust me with their pets year after year. I have experience administering medications, working extensively with senior pets, and providing individualized care based on each animal’s unique needs and personality. I also have some experience reinforcing training and maintaining consistency with established commands and routines. My background includes a degree in Biological Sciences, where I studied subjects such as animal behavior and physiology. This education, combined with years of hands-on experience, has made me highly observant and attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and overall well-being. Whether your pet needs extra patience, specialized care, plenty of exercise, or simply lots of affection, I prioritize their health, comfort, and happiness while treating them like a member of my own family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. During the week, I work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and have a lunch break that allows me to come home for midday potty breaks, walks, and check-ins. I typically walk in the mornings before work, return home at lunch, and then spend additional time walking, playing, and relaxing with pets after work. On weekends, my schedule is even more flexible. Whether I’m spending time around the house, visiting a local park, or enjoying time around town, I love having dogs join me when appropriate. I intentionally plan my weekends around the pets in my care, and activities are always tailored to each animal’s age, energy level, personality, and needs. Whether your pet prefers long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra support as a senior, they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and individualized care. When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any other care preferences provided by the owner. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on providing consistent care, companionship, and attention while you’re away. I am highly observant and attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, or overall well-being, and I communicate regularly with owners through updates and photos. Whether your pet needs a brisk walk, playtime, cuddles on the couch, medication administration, or extra patience as a senior pet, I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable until you return home.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up caring for 5 dogs, a cat, a tortoise, and plenty of other pets over the years, so being around animals feels very natural to me. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’ve helped take care of pets for friends, family, and neighbors by feeding them, walking them, playing with them, and giving them lots of attention. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or older, I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m currently in class Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9am–12pm, and I work Friday and Saturday nights, but outside of those times I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going on walks, playing with them, or just giving them company and attention while you’re away. I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in any environment. At our house during college, we’ve had 3 cats, so I’m very used to caring for animals daily and understanding different personalities and routines. I’ve also helped take care of foster dogs from the animal shelter, which taught me patience and how to work with pets that may be nervous or need extra attention. I’ll always treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they get lots of love, attention, and proper care.

About: I am currently a college student away from home who constantly misses his dog. I’ve had dogs ever since I was born and I have always loved taking them on walks and playing with them. My schedule is pretty flexible, so pet care fits easily into my week. I’m available most days and can usually work around your pet’s routine. The only times I’m unavailable are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. I provide care by following routines, ensuring safety, and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment. I prioritize the pet's well-being, offer regular attention, and communicate updates to the owner.

About: I have been pet sitting/ dog walking for almost 7 years now, and I absolutely love it! As a huge animal person, I can confidently say that pets are my passion! I want to love your furbaby like I love my own! I would love to take care of any needs you may have. Feel free to ask any questions! I am a junior at Ole Miss. My roommates and I have a Golden Retriever that we adopted last year! As far as boarding and doggy daycare goes, he would love to play with your pup, but they can also be easily separated if needed! About: I have been loving and caring for animals since I could walk. They have always had a special spot in my heart and life. I have always considered my animals my best friends. I would do anything for them. My favorite thing is to give my furry friends all the attention they deserve. I truly believe animals save us in a way no person can. This is why I love taking care and getting to know many different fur babies. I will give my all into making sure your best friend is comfortable and cared for, because animals deserve the best that this world has to offer. Pet care fits into my daily routine when I spend the first hour of my day making sure my animals are taken care of before all. I care for pets in my home by feeding them twice a day(or the schedule you have set). I have a big, spacious, fenced in, backyard with an insulated doghouse, shaded turf and many toys for their enjoyment. I have a lot of time to spend with them as well; seeing as I am home most of the time. I have 2 dogs of my own and a cat. They all get spoiled every day and live a very happy and fulfilling life.

I hesitate to review Mason because I’m worried she will become so popular that I won’t be able to book her in the future. She is a great communicator and very dependable. I know that my cats will be just as loved and cared for when she visits as if I were home to do so myself! Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a University stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
