“Ashley was wonderful! She took great care of both my dog and cat over the weekend, keeping me updated with photos and messages so I knew they were happy and comfortable. Both of the pets clearly adored her. Highly recommend!”
“Chelsea house/pet sat for us and did a fantastic job taking care of our Lucy and Tanner. She came over a few days before to meet them and they were comfortable with her right away. Chelsea has a kind, calming and caring way about her that they picked up on immediately. She sent pics and updates daily and responded to my texts. My husband said i was so much more relaxed than usual about being away from them. I felt very comfortable leaving them in Chelsea's care. i truly didn't worry about them at all. We always had to board T&L in the past. This was our first time using Rover snd we couldn't have been happier. They are so much happier in their own home with their usual routine. We have 2 trips coming up and we will definitely be booking Chelsea. Highly recommend! A+++”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs including sitting for the same families for 2+ years. I am genuine and will care for your pets like they are mine. I am a college student with mostly online classes, this allows for a lot of availability for house and pet sitting. I have a part time job as well but this shouldn’t interfere with my ability to care for your pet. I care for pets the same way I care for my own pets. I like schedules and will stick to them to ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s cared for just about every kind of personality you can imagine—from energetic huskies and lovable pit bulls to loafy indoor cats and adventurous outdoor explorers. I’ve watched corgis, big dogs, small dogs, shy cats, social cats… basically, if it has fur, I’m a fan. The best part of my day is spending time with my own two cats, Merlin and Rhysand, who have perfected the art of ruling the house and keeping me on my toes. Because I work from home, I have lots of flexibility and can give pets the attention they deserve—whether that’s a long walk with a new furry friend, playtime in the yard, or quality indoor time with your cat’s favorite toys. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’d be so excited to care for your cat or dog and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well-loved while you’re away! I am very fortunate to have a flexible work from home schedule where I structure my own day. As far as Rover goes, I can fit your dogs and cats in throughout the day. I am looking for more opportunities to get outside of my apartment in the mornings and during the day and I can’t think of a better way than spending time with new furry friends. My own pets are centered throughout my day at morning, lunch, and nighttime when I prioritize time for food, cuddles, and play. I’m happy to make your best buds a part of my routine! Pet safety and care is my top priority! When it comes to dogs it’s important for me to be familiar with the areas their parents are comfortable with their pet going. Backyard play, leash on walking, and indoor belly rubs are always done with care and attentiveness. I know how much dogs love to find trouble, so I make sure to always keep an eye on them. Things also change depending on the weather! I’m from Arizona and am familiar with putting safety boots on dogs and bringing water wherever I go so their paws are safe on a walk and they can stay hydrated. My approach to cat care is similar in regards to keeping my eyes on them and being attentive to their needs. I know some cats respond really well to new people and I will be ready to play with them to their hearts content. Other cats, like my own, can be a bit scared and timid. So regardless, I make every attempt to create a calm, loving, and gentle environment until they feel comfortable enough to get to know me. At the heart of it all is understanding that all pets have boundaries and respecting them is the best way to ensure their safety and comfort when I provide care.

I have experience with little ones to senior animals. I live at home with my family and we have 5 dogs so I am unable to keep animals at my house! I would love to stay with your sweet babies though! About: I have been in the pet care business since around the age 13 starting out in my neighborhood walking family friends dogs. During my time in Virginia I even had a small business where I had multiple families that trusted me with the care of their pets. My life has always been heavily influenced by fur babies! Growing up my family has never not had an animal of some sorts, from dogs and cats to hamsters. I am here all summer! My availability is very open so if your current sitter / dog walker is out of town, don’t hesitate to reach out!! I am extremely reliable and trusting, having a good conscience and just being an animal lover at heart makes it very easy to provide the best care and attention your animals deserve. I'm good at sticking to any special accommodations your baby has and making sure I do it correctly.

“Morgan was fantastic! Very communicative the whole time and sent lots of photos to show my pups were doing well. She was able to give my chihuahua her medicine without any problems and she left my house very clean! Will definitely rebook with her anytime I need a sitter :)”

About: I personally have animals of my own specifically three dogs of different breeds and sizes that I take care of when i’m home. I have also volunteered my time at the oxford animals shelter and I have become accustomed to caring for cats and dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and needs. I am also able to administer medicine and give baths when needed. I do go to school at the university of mississippi so i have class through the week. However my classes don’t start till 1 pm and i usually finish around 5 pm. Outside of that my schedule is very flexible. I have 1 very sweet and friendly dog to play with your fur baby and plenty of space to go on walks. However i prefer going to the dog park and other activities vary based on what service I am providing.
About: I had 1 dog for 2 years, and I have very flexible availability. I make sure your dog(s) enjoy their stay and time with me. Dog sitting is my passion. I love dogs. They are so fun to be with and play with. Also, I love to see when dogs wag their tails and lick their tongue out when you give them a treat when you are teaching them a trick and they get it right. My work schedule varies, but I am very flexible with my other job, so I can try my best to work with you and your dog(s) care. I don't have a fenced neighborhood, but I have an extra crate and bed for your dog(s) if they stay with me. My dog is super friendly and loves all other animals.
“Jayde was amazing!! I normally am so stressed leaving my pup at home but I felt so comfortable knowing Jayde was taking care of her! She was very responsive and attentive to my detailed explanation of how to care for my dog! She gave her so much love and good walks. when I came home willow was so happy and exhausted! Jayde went above and beyond for us!”
About: I grew up constantly around cats and dogs. I remember getting in trouble as a kid because i would sit with my dog, Thor, inside the dog house my dad built for him. My moms best friend runs a shelter now but when I was little she was just known for having a lot of dogs and cats and i LOVED going to her house because I always wanted to hangout with her animals and she'd show me how she took care of specific animals that needed special care and I loved it. I also had a cat named Kitty and i would sit on the front porch and sing made up songs to him while he slept on my lap haha. Later on in life i got another cat named Blue and he was my baby. He slept on my chest every night. We woke up at the same time and went to sleep at the same time, sadly life happened and i had to rehome him but hes at a very sweet family's house and i still get to see pictures of him every once in a while. Currently I have a sweet american staffie mix, his name is Macho Man Randy Savage (Randy for short) a sweet mom and daughter were rehoming him on Facebook and I just so happened to find him and he is my best friend. He is seriously just a ball of love. He loves everyone he meets whether it's another dog or a human and while it's me and my fiance living together Im the main person that takes care of him and makes sure he potties and eats. So I have a lot of experience with pets. I just love animals. If I could have a bed full of cats and dogs that would be a dream but I'm only allowed one so I'd love to spend time with your sweet babies! I'm currently working part time at an office. Just wanna make sure I can pay my bills and what a great way to do that! I sadly do not have a fenced in yard so I take Randy on walks through the neighborhood next to ours cause he still gets all the sniffs and excitement and I don't have to worry about him running into the street and when the weather is nice he LOVES to go to the dog park and hes not very good at playing fetch but he loves playing "throw the ball over and over but I wont bring it back" haha and at least at the park I know hes safe in an enclosed space.
About: My family has always had dogs. I have pet sat for many families in my neighborhood. I am not scared of big dogs and love active dogs! I have lots of free time due to my class schedule and would love to help with any pets! I am free early every morning to do morning walks asweell I am very patient with animals. I understand that most animals take a second to warm up to people so I respect that and don't force any interactions
About: I’ve dog sat/dog walked for many people in my hometown. whether it was family friends, neighbors, or someone from facebook I’ve always been a reliable sitter. I can stay the night while dog sitting or come over during the days I don’t mind either! I’ve dog sat from puppies to seniors and i’ve never had issues. I also have experience walking dogs from dog walking for local animal shelters for service hours. I also have grown up with dogs my entire life so I’m ready for any curveballs they might throw at me. I’m currently a full time student, I’m available to to dog sit the whole week but only available to dog walk Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday-Sunday. My classes on Tuesday and Thursday don’t start until 2:30 and end at 3:45. I go on runs/walks by myself often so i wouldn’t mind bringing a furry friend to keep me company! I cannot care for animals in my own home because i currently live in a dorm, but I can travel to any house to take care of your fur baby.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was little — both big and small breeds. Caring for pets has always been second nature to me, and I make sure every dog feels loved, safe, and happy. From daily walks to playtime and snuggles, I treat every pup like part of the family I have class Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 11-12:15 but I’m free most other times for walks, drop-ins, or playtime! I’m super flexible with afternoons, evenings, and usually weekends. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I make up for it with plenty of walks and outdoor playtime. I have a small yard for quick potty breaks and always make sure pups are safe, leashed, and cared for like my own.

University pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emma is truly an angel on earth. During the ice storm, she stayed at my house for over 12 hours with no power and no heat just to make sure my dogs were safe and cared for. When it became clear the situation wasn’t improving, she didn’t hesitate, she packed them up and brought them into her own home with her sweet boyfriend and their three dogs, treating them like her own. When I couldn’t safely make it back to Oxford due to road conditions, she kept them for two extra nights without question. In the middle of an incredibly stressful and emotional situation, Emma became my greatest sense of relief. Her constant communication, thoughtful updates, and genuine compassion meant more to me than I can put into words. Emma is the true definition of a good human, and I would trust her with my dogs again in a heartbeat.

Maddie is AMAZING! She sent us constant updates of our girls (we have sweet, but problematic girls). She took Griffey to the vet for us when decided she needed an allergy shot and did so well with her! When we came home, we saw she had vacuumed, changed our bedding, and even folded our toilet paper 😭😭😭 we will always be using her for future sitting needs!

Sarah was awesome. Booked with her a week out on short notice and she went above and beyond. The dogs loved her and she staysbinntouxh throughout the days with updates and pictures. She dropped in throughout the day and stayed the night and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely use Sarah again.
