“Jenn & Brian are really warm, friendly and welcoming. They’re really nice and we felt very comfortable while leaving milo at their place. I informed her about Milo’s neuter and she was really caring and kept sending updates about the stitches as well. I am from Chicago and sad that they’re in NY. If we are in same place I would send milo again and again to them whenever we go on a vacation. Best people ever! Highly Recommended.”

“Elizabeth is an empathetic person who cares deeply about the well being of people and animals, including her current dog and the dogs and cats that have been part of her family in the past.”

“Jackie has many qualities that would make a treasure to Rover and an undisputed friend to the pets. She is a reliable and honest, community-oriented, and experienced customer service personality. Her primary reason for wanting this job is her love of animals. My dog jumps for joy when the time draws near of her arrival. Having Jackie as a Rover caregiver is a when, when for all. Angelina L”

“On our second visit with Alissa and Brett my dog stood up in the car looking out the window at their home and started wagging eager to exit the car! Thank you for lovingly caring for our dog!”

“Our pup Avocado had a blast with Beth’s three dogs, each of whom was an excellent host. Beth was responsive and caring, and exceptionally kind and understanding when Avocado had tummy issues due to the fact that he (unbeknownst to us at the time) ate some food that disagreed with him before we dropped him off.”

About: . As cliché as it sounds , dogs are my life! I am passionate about the way they communicate. I highly enjoyed back when I volunteered at a foster rescue agency in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity polished my skill of handling myself in high pressure and high energy situations when it comes to dogs and cats. Working for Rover, growing up with dogs, and volunteering was another rewarding pet experience I had which gives you basic but hands on independent experience with clients and there furry loved ones. Rover is actually my main job. It’s enough to support yourself as well as I love the schedule flexibility. I am home most of the time and if I do leave it’s usually just to the grocery store or maybe to dinner. I love being home and watching TV or doing some type of new art. I’m studying to attend Animal Behavior College so I can train PTSD Service dogs and maybe even help socialize shelter pups. As I said I am home most of the time minus the normal grocery store run or what have you. They will get frequent potty breaks as well as a nighttime long walk to wind down so shall they stay overnight. If they have any problem areas,I like to dedicate a small slot of time to enrichment aka knowing as training time. Great way to help me practice as well as help any areas a part might need to work on… Not that they’re not perfect as is 😇. I’m a single mom who has my son by myself full-time however, please don’t think that will interrupt the level of care or undivided attention that your pup will have! My son loves animals he absolutely gets so excited whenever I have a client! Due to being a single mother, I am home full-time, and Rover as I said as my main job. Although I don’t even look at it as a job I seriously love what I do. Whenever I do have a client, I like to adapt to whatever your pups schedule is! I don’t mind getting up as early as 6 AM if that’s what they’re used to. I found that it’s better to keep them on the schedule that they have at home as it helps them acclimate to being away from home. I love my clients and I’m very signature with each one. I like to tailor my service based on the clients needs. For instance, if they are an anxious client with separation anxiety, I will sleep in the living room with them so they do not feel alone. I even like to do little blanket forts with my son and the client and that gives them a little den to feel safe in. If they don’t mind being in the bedroom they are more than welcome in there. I give each client free roam of my home. Whether you choose your home or mine, I will focus solely on making sure your fur baby is not only cared for, but stays entertained as well as meet all of their needs accurately and on time. What’s more is that my home is a calm, peaceful, spacious 4 bedroom with a good size backyard. In the backyard, I have a stake leash tie out so your pup can be secured since it’s not fully fenced in but they also will have about a 20 foot diameter to roam around and feel free. I never leave any client unattended out there however just for safety precautions. In my home, I have plenty of guest items in case you forget anything such as toys, food/water bowls, beds, even doggie sweaters in three different sizes for the colder months and doggy boots in two sizes in case it’s muddy/rainy! I offer meet and greets before the sitting so you and your fur baby can get comfortable and acclimated with myself and my home and I can then address any concerns and answer any questions you may have. During the meet and greet I will also ask YOU a few short yet detailed questions to make sure I take the utmost care of your fur baby while you’re away be it in your home or mine! Some of the questions include specific feeding times, vet & ICE information, favorite, toys, and games, and discuss any behavior issues or anxieties and how I can best comfort them! All pups get to go home with a thank you card and a new toy whether it’s a rope, ball, or squeaker depending on what their favorite is! As you’ll see, it’s an option to take care of your pup in your home if you’re more comfortable with that. When you book housesitting, this includes of course, first and foremost, taking care of your fur baby just the way I would at my house but also includes watering any plants, bringing in any packages or mail, and though it’s not specified through Rover, I like to go above and beyond, so I don’t mind doing any laundry or lighthouse cleaning. I assure you when you arrive home your home will be in the same if not better condition then you left it!

“Melissa was very welcoming to us when we arrived. She and my fur baby hit it off from the start and she was very attentive to her needs. She would be someone I’d call upon again.”

“Erica watched Dubbs, Cocker Spaniel for 5 days while we took a little trip. We must say she was fantastic as far as having us over for a meet and greet right away and best of all were daily updates and pictures. “Kimberly has been great! She is very attentive to my puppy and has been taking very good care of him. She always provides me with updates and pics throughout the day. I would recommend Kimberly to anyone! This is my first puppy in a long time and i'm very glad I was able to find Kimberly because she has been very helpful and I was really nervous about leaving my puppy with a sitter but she has made it very easy for me because I know she takes good care of him. Her and her family have been wonderful to my Bentley and he seems to love them too!”

“Allie has had a dog all her life. Even as a young girl was attentive and helpful with our pets. This love has gotten her many dog sitting and walking jobs over the years. Now in her own home she has great love her own dog. I would trust her to care for any of my pets as they were her own.”

“Lauren was amazing. I work long hours & she was always ready to watch Maggie early in the morning until evening. I really appreciated her being so kind to my dog. Maggie loved her!”

She's attentive, caring and communication was A++. I felt at total ease when visiting Niagara Falls with my mom, as she updated me on my puppy's activity and more! I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to ANYONE visiting Buffalo or it's surrounding area!!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we chose the best person, Oshjanae! We traveled from Michigan with our small dog, but really wanted to go to Niagara Falls/ Maid of the Mist and the casino. I contacted Oshjanae the night before and she was so accommodating. During our day trip, we received updates and photos. Our pup even got to go on a couple of walks. We couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver for him. If we were local we would definitely use Oshjanae again! Thank you so much.”

“Yes Devin has a dog and has been taking care of him for many years. He is great is pets and his dog is very obedient.”

“Bailey took wonderful care of my pup today! He had such a great time, and I could tell he was immediately comfortable and at ease with Bailey. She is very gentle, and so good with animals. Also, my pup has some health and spinal issues, and I felt totally comfortable leaving him in Bailey’s care. We’ll definitely be booking with Bailey again soon — highly recommend!”
