Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I’m a college student with a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the week, which allows me to be attentive and present with the dogs I care for. My apartment is pet friendly, and I also have access to a decent sized backyard space where dogs can get fresh air, play, and stretch their legs safely. I love going on walks daily, it’s something I already do for myself, so bringing dogs along fits perfectly into my routine. Whether it’s morning potty breaks, mid-day walks, or evening play time, I’m able to give consistent care and make sure your pet gets the attention and activity they need.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I currently live in a townhouse with three other college roommates, they don’t have pets living here, but all of us are huge animal lovers, so your pup will get plenty of gentle attention and affection. I will be the primary caretaker and the one responsible for all routines, feedings, walks, potty breaks, and updates. Even though our backyard is not fenced in, I take safety extremely seriously, dogs are always leashed when going outside, and I never leave pets unattended outdoors. Inside, I maintain a calm, clean space and make sure any personal items or potential hazards are safely out of reach. Whether I’m caring for your dog in your home or mine, I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine, respect boundaries, and communicate consistently so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, secure, and loved, just like they would at home.

Information Taylor P. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your dog, I always love to know their routine, preferences, and any specific needs they might have. Please let me know if your pup has any medical concerns, allergies, anxiety triggers, or quirks I should be aware of. I’d also like to know their feeding schedule, potty routine, energy level, favorite activities, and how they do with other dogs/people on walks. The more I know about your dog’s personality and what makes them feel safest and happiest, the better I can tailor the stay to match their normal routine and make them feel right at home.

A typical day

A typical day with me always includes lots of movement, routine, and attention. I’m a college student and usually only have about two classes a day, which gives me plenty of time to focus on the dogs I’m watching. In the mornings, I like to start the day with a run or a long walk, and your pup would join me for fresh air, stretching their legs, and getting their energy out early. After breakfast and class, we’ll have another walk, play time, or enrichment activity depending on their age and personality, this could be tug toys, snuffle mats, fetch, puzzle toys, or simple training practice. In the evenings, we’ll wind down with relaxing time, cuddles, and another walk before bed. My goal is to create a balanced day full of exercise, stimulation, routine, and affection so that your pet feels happy, engaged, and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience

I’ve been dog sitting for about 3 years in my hometown and built my clientele through word-of-mouth and mutual connections. I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, I live on a farm, care for horses daily, and have always had dogs in my home. My grandfather bred puppies, so I’ve been around dogs from newborn stages to senior years since I was young. Because of that, I’m extremely comfortable with all sizes and temperaments, from tiny dachshunds to our current 100 lb German Shepherd family dog. I treat every dog like my own, keep communication clear, and make sure their safety, routine, and comfort come first. What sets me apart is my lifelong hands-on experience, genuine love for animals, and the calm, confident presence I bring to every pet I care for.

Taylor was an absolutely fantastic sitter for Luke. Her care was top-notch, and the communication was flawless! We received regular photos and updates, which kept our minds completely at ease. Luke clearly had a great time and was happy and healthy when we returned. Taylor is professional, reliable, and wonderful with dogs. Highly recommend—we will definitely rebook!"

Taylor was absolutely amazing with our golden retriever, Bailey! From the moment we dropped her off, we felt completely at ease. Taylor sent updates and pictures throughout the day, and Bailey looked so happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Bailey got plenty of playtime, attention, and cuddles, and even came home tired — which means she had a great day! Taylor clearly treats every pup like her own, and we could tell Bailey felt comfortable and loved while she was there. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend Taylor if you want someone who is patient, kind, and truly loves dogs. Bailey had such a good day with her!

Taylor has been an absolutely incredible dog sitter. Even though she is a young college student, she is extremely responsible, reliable, and genuinely loves animals. Her schedule is very flexible which makes it easy for her to spend quality time with dogs, take them on walks, and give them the attention they need throughout the day. She has a ton of energy and is able to handle dogs of all sizes confidently. Every time I left my dog with Taylor, I felt completely comfortable and stress free knowing my dog was in great hands. She communicates well. Her experience truly shows in the way she interacts and understands each dog’s needs

Taylor did an amazing job watching my dog while I was on vacation! From the moment we met, she was friendly, responsible, and clearly experienced with animals. She made sure my dog got plenty of love, walks, and playtime, and she kept me updated with pictures and messages so I could relax knowing everything was going smoothly. When I came home, my dog was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. She treated my dog like her own, and I’ll definitely be asking her to sit again in the future!
