About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, and experienced in animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler for an Iditarod musher! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: I’ve had the pleasure of raising a dog from 9 weeks old to his current 13 years. I’ve been there every step of the way, from puppyhood to adulthood and senior years. About: Ever since I was a little girl, I've shared a deep connection with animals. I felt like an outcast a lot of my childhood but always felt like I could fully be myself around them. When it comes to dogs, I love to include them in everyday things like car rides, hikes, walks or a trip to Starbucks to get a pup cup! I think theyre all so precious in their own unique ways and get excited to learn their personalities and little quirks. My neighbors, friends, and family quite often have me watch their pets while theyre away. I know how scary it can be to trust a stranger with your pet, but you can be at peace knowing your furbabies will be safe and loved by me as if they are my own. I also love taking pictures so always expect some cute high quality photos of your furbaby while I care for them💖 I am between jobs right now so I have some time to provide full care as needed. Im pretty flexible when it comes to times as well, I can be up early or late and adjust to what the pet owner needs from me 🙂 I KNOW how scary it can be to leave your furbabies life in another person's hands, let alone a stranger. Know that safety and attention to details are top priority for me. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
