About: All my life I’ve grown up around dogs, rabbits, fish, and most recently cats! So I’m no stranger to the cuddly, silly, and sometimes unpredictable behaviors pets can throw your way. I have experience volunteering at the Carroll County Humane Society working in the cat room to socialize kitties, and in the dog area providing them with enrichment activities! As a longtime pet lover and owner I understand that every animal is unique and has their own quirks and personalities, and I’m capable of learning your pet and giving them the best care I can! I always treat my clients homes and pets with care and respect. I’m sure to clean up after myself and the pets. I’m not just a pet sitter I’m also a house sitter so I’m willing to get the mail, take trash out, etc…
About: Ive had pets my whole life, dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, ferrets… I could go on forever! Ive cared for senior and baby animals, and farm animals too! Theres really nothing I cant handle :) I have two cats, Mo and Flynn. I absolutely love caring for them! I also enjoy pet and house sitting over the summers, weekends, whenever you need me! I am dedicated, trustworthy, and devoted! I love seeing my pets safe and happy, and it makes all the difference knowing my pets are in good hands when Im out of town. I would love to give you that same comfort!
About: I have a deep love for all animals and years of experience caring for them. I am a proud owner of a cat, a ferret, and a budgie, so I am very comfortable with both common and exotic pets. I am responsible, attentive to detail, and I will make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you are away. I offer personalized care tailored to your pet's specific needs and routine. "I am currently at home full-time, which means I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your pets! I can provide constant supervision, plenty of playtime, and frequent potty breaks. My schedule is very flexible, so I can easily adapt to your pet's specific routine and needs at any time of the day. Your pets will be treated like family here—they are more than welcome to cuddle on the sofa with me or even sleep on the bed if that's what they’re used to at home!" "I provide a very safe and calm environment for all my pets. I am home most of the day, so I can offer constant supervision and care. I’m very attentive to their needs, ensuring they are always comfortable, safe, and treated like part of the family in a clean and peaceful home."
“Courtney was a perfect first-time Rover experience for our family! She sent frequent updates and went above and beyond with our cat's care. Courtney even went as far as to offer to check on the house after a particularly nasty storm. Thank you so much for your care and attention!”

About: I’ve always helped out neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family friends with their pets. My simple pleasure is taking dogs on long walks and being outside. I’m currently working part time so I’ll be free for walks and playing with your animals very often. I’m easy to schedule if you need mornings, afternoons, or both! I take dogs on long long walks (at least a mile) I can of course do less if your dog isn’t up to the challenge. I love to play after a walk as well.
About: I’ve been a dog owner for nearly 30 years and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your dog loves long walks, hiking adventures, or simply exploring the neighborhood, I’m happy to match their energy and routine. I also enjoy playing with both dogs and cats, making sure they get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention while you’re away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, and you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I have a flexible routine throughout the school year with a lot of extra availability in the summer time. I can work the needs of your pets to make sure they get the care and time they need! I understand that each cat and dog has unique needs. I will work with you to best meet the needs of your pet in their own space. I love spending time outside and look forward to incorporating your dog(s) into my routine!
“Sofia did a great job with our two dogs while we were gone for the week. She sent pictures every time she was there. She communicated very well and did everything we asked of her. Will definitely rebook and recommend Sofia.”

About: I have experience with and am comfortable with all sizes, breeds, ages and personalities of any dog! I am reliable, friendly, and have good communication skills! I have two cats I take care of day in and day out! I also regularly dog sit one larger dog roughly once a month on weekends! I treat every animal I meet and or sit as if they were my own. As previously stated, I am an animal lover that believes every animal is unique and needs their own personalized care!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for many years, and used to have a senior dog. My love for dogs and cats sets the bar so high and I love playing and taking care of them. I’m currently working part time at the hospital and am looking for a side gig with pets, I can do mornings or evenings but looking for flexible clients. I have lots of toys and love to play with my dog and cat. I love taking my dog out for walks, and love meeting other people’s dogs and cats!
About: I have had dogs since I was born - big dogs, little dogs, hyper dogs, and lazy dogs. I took care of those dogs growing up whether it was walking them, watering them, feeding them, or cleaning up after them. However, I’ve taken care of other people’s pets since I was 10, walking and feeding neighbors dogs and cats, as well as sitting for friends and family. I currently am a senior in high school who gets up at 6 for school, so I have early mornings available, and get out of school at 2:30pm. However, this means I do have weekends free all day every day! I have a huge back yard that so many dogs have enjoyed. I have crates from when my dogs were being crate trained, however now they roam so those crates are open if needed, otherwise I love a dog that likes to sleep in bed!
“Kristen is awesome! She took great care of my senior kitty and sent lots of pictures all weekend! Will definitely book with her again in the future and I highly recommend her services.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
