About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life and worked as a professional pet sitter for over 3 years. I can’t wait to meet your sweet animals! At the moment, I am currently only available on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) but can be available some evenings as well upon request (6pm-9pm). My dog is leashed or on a lead while outdoors as my property is not currently fenced. She requires lots of exercise so we live a very active lifestyle.

About: I used to work for a pet care company called Pet and Home Care. I was a traveling pet care agent for them and I am trained to take care of all kinds of pets. I even took classes through them on what to do if a pet has a medical emergency. I grew up around animals and have a deep love for them and I’m excited to work with your pets :) I’m currently a part time student at FCC and I’m looking for extra work. I have time everyday for visits. I have open availability all day Sunday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday I give fresh water and treats every visit (if treats are allowed). Plenty of pets and attention. I can administer medication and follow special dietary plans. I have a leash belt I use when walking dogs that keeps the dog hooked to me for extra control and ensures they can’t pull the leash out of my hand.

About: Ive had pets of my own and work with animals through vet hospital. I love cuddling, playing, and going on walks with pets. I am open to assist with giving medication for doggies who need extra care. I will happily send over pics of your pet during visits. I'm currently part time at a pet hospital. Availability can vary, just message me and we can try to work something out. On days I work usually I'm available in the evenings. I can offer boarding if needed. I do not have a fenced yard, I like to take pets out on walks for potty multiple times a day. I have 1 dog ( Wilbur ) + 2 cats (Phineas and Senu ). Wilbur is very friendly and would love the company of your pet. He is a tree walker coonhound Cats can be separated if needed when boarding your pet. For check ins - I can come over to make sure your pets have their food + water set. If meds need to be given I'm open to doing that. I'll also spend some time with them to offer some love and make sure they have some time outdoors. If owner allows I can take your dog out hiking / extended walks or to a park.

My first job was at a pet store, and since then I have years of experience working in San Diego as a vet assistant and a shelter animal tech at the local humane society. About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, and experienced in animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler for an Iditarod musher! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: Hi! I’ve had a dog since I was a toddler and I’ve always been fascinated by dogs/pets, and caring for them. I love spending time with them, playing, walking and having fun! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
