About: I have experience in cat sitting with clients, some of them had anxious cats that were more on the spicy side. I gained their trust and surprised their owners when they found out how close and cuddly they got with me, that's my quality. I don't expect every cat to open all of their boundaries and I respect doing what they want. 😸 I am known to socialize with the cats outside of just feeding them and cleaning their litterbox. I have had 3 cats of my own, 2 which have been elderly cats who needed medicine and careful care. 💊 I am very good at administering meds and staying consistent. I have had two dogs which both crossed the rainbow bridge from elderly age (a malamute and a newfoundland). I am an equal cat and dog lover! I would love to have a dog again one day. I walk with a cane so I am comfortable walking small dogs. 🐶 I have a very flexible schedule since I work from home. I can stop by any time in the mornings, afternoons, and also early evenings. When going to a client's home, I am very careful when entering and exiting the home when the door opens. I also do a head count of any cats including my own before leaving a house. I know from my own pet that they like to get curious and can suddenly go into a bathroom or closet and can get closed in. Just like my teaching days - taking head counts is important! I also watch the pets as they eat especially if there are multiple in a house so that they don't overeat by sneaking snacks from their pet buddies food.

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. There was already a cat in my home before I was born, so I’ve had animals since day 1! My family got our dog when I was 10, and I’ve helped care for her ever since, including feeding, walking, playing with her, and general daily care. About: For the past 4 years, I’ve been the go to pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors. I am an honest and hard worker and I provide good communication with my clients. I am a student at parkside with one year left until I graduate. With my schedule, I am able to pet sit during the day and overnight on weekdays and I’m fully available on weekends. When I’m pet sitting in a clients home, I spend the majority of my day there playing with and taking care of the pets. I put the pet’s needs first and maintain good communication with the owners to ensure their pet is taken care of properly. I treat the home with respect and ensure the owners of the home know my schedule so there are no surprises while I’m watching their pets.

About: I have one Chocolate Lab named Coco at home I’ve taken care of for about 13 years or so. There is also a small dog my roommate has I have taken care of before. My parents also have 2 cats at home I’ve cared for over the weekends. I am always willing to learn new things and help animals! I have college classes and get done by 2 so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I also come home to a little dog everyday that my roommate has so I’m used to seeing pets around me! I can clean up accidents from dogs and cats, have a great deal of experience with leash walking and supervise pets to avoid any harm happening to them.

About: I work at a doggy daycare have over 3 years of experience taking care of dogs, feeding and medications if needed. I can also basic training dogs. I currently work part time. Im free Thursday - all day, Friday - all day and Saturday - till 5pm. If I am needed for a bathroom break or feeding they will be well taken care of. I currently do not own a animal. I have learned with my doggy daycare experience that you have to keep your head on a swivel because some animals can get into what they shouldn't.

About: I had 2 cats and a dog growing up! No pets currently but happy to play and take care of yours! Currently cannot watch any pets at my home but happy to complete as many home visits as necessary as long as you are relatively close by:) I am not currently working full time and my schedule is fairly flexible. I am happy to discuss any extra care needed for your pet. I am happy to follow specific instructions/feeding schedules as needed. I will also completed any necessary home care tasks as wanted as long as discussed prior.

About: I've been around animals my whole life! Family and friends have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also worked for Wag, which I thoroughly enjoyed and learned so much about caring for pets. My schedule is extremely flexible and I only work part time, so I can care for your pets at almost any time of day, especially mornings and afternoons. In a client's home, the pets are in a familiar environment with an unfamiliar person. So, the first thing I do is give the pets a chance to get used to me! Let them sniff me, let them approach me at their own pace.

About: I'm Julie (Jules), a graphic designer and creative director. I own a design and branding company in the Chicago/Milwaukee area that services clients locally, nationally and globally. I love all creative pursuits, including writing music for piano and singing. I've always loved all dogs, especially larger breeds (though the smaller pups are super cute and sweet and steal my heart equally!). My pup, Bella, a black lab mix, was a very kind, sweet and gentle dog. She passed in 2016 at age 14, having had a very nice life. I would love to help other fur babies who need caregiving while their humans are away or need a daily walk or check-in. I'm at home working during the week and have access to a wonderful backyard, an amazing neighborhood, and parks nearby. I love all outdoor activities, especially hiking and swimming. Would love to take your pups to the beach or on any sized walk they desire!! :) I offer these services because I love dogs, not to make a living. It's a great win/win to have a sweet fur baby around from time to time. Yes, it's nice to have some extra cash to work on the house, but my primary career more than covers my income needs. I share this info so you can be sure no other dogs will share your pup's time with me.* I keep to a strict policy of one-on-one care and up to two dogs from the same family... if you have more than two, please reach out, and I may be able to make exceptions. My rates reflect this customized care and focus for your sweet puppers! *In mid-2024, I started pairing up dogs that requested having another pup present from a different family. Please let me know if you are open to having a playmate for your pup. If you prefer no other dogs in the home while yours is here with me, I strictly adhere to your preferences and take this quite seriously. I specialize in customized care for dogs with behavioral issues such as not getting along with other dogs. Since my dog passed in 2016, I have been able to devote all my time to your pup when they're in my care. They will be carefully cared for and pampered, with every need catered to. The only thing I won't abide is a pup who isn't house-trained. If your dog/pup has never been left with a sitter before and you'd like to ensure they're a great house guest, I do suggest booking a 1-2 night stay much in advance of your trip so we can see if your pup has any specific issues to call out, and if I'm a good fit for them/you. I have found this to be of great benefit to you and me! I charge a cleaning fee IF your pup has "surprise" issues with incontinence, as this behavior can happen; however, I don't take on dogs with this issue unless we have a solution, like a doggy diaper or pee pads (for puppies). Severe separation anxiety can also be challenging, as my own pup had this issue. If there are situations such as this, I ask that you bring a crate, and the pup must be trained and be OK to be in their crate as needed. If no issues like these exist, they need to have their own bed or spot where they like to sleep. I don't allow dogs to sleep upstairs with me. Snuggling up on the sofa with a couple of pups is one of my favorite things to do. I know most dogs like a comfy bed. As noted above, please bring a fresh bed for your pet, either a cleaned dog bed from home or a new one. I have blankets for the floor and a lovely sofa that I cover with a blanket for the occasional daytime snooze. If you have an elderly dog, I know just what to do to provide the best care. As my dog Bella aged, I learned how to adapt every year. Listening to your dog and providing the best care is my priority. I realized that leaving an ailing or elderly pup in another person's care can be stressful. I would treat your dog like my own and hope to put your mind at rest. I welcome all questions as part of our meet + greet. I only sit for dogs I know or can meet during our meet + greet (unless out-of-town circumstances or timing prevail). I can sit at the last minute only for pups I've sat for previously or know well. If you are traveling from out of town and cannot sync up for a meet + greet, please reach out to discuss your situation. As far as breeds go, I have experience with an extensive range of breeds—larger breeds with special needs like an elevated dog water/food bowl due to how they process food or other breeds that are great with humans and not so wonderful with other dog breeds. I've had great results with training. I have experience with smaller breeds as well. As mentioned, I only sit for house-trained and well-behaved dogs in the home. I book up early... sometimes six months before a planned trip. Please plan ahead to secure your desired dates. I look forward to meeting your amazing pups soon!! Jules I'm home most of the time. I work days and some evenings but make my own schedule. I'm available as needed for all types of customized care. I have a lovely yard for dog play. I would love the same situation if I were dog-sitting in your home. My home is also in a very safe Hales Corners neighborhood. It has a low volume of car traffic and is very quiet.

About: 10 years experience I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was a teenager. I also take care of my own pup. I have trained multiples of dogs and my own is extremely well behaved. Neighbors, Friends, Families, Strangers all have relied on me to walk, train, feed, give shots, play with them. I am a videographer with free time. I am a dog dad myself. Long walks in the park are already a part of my schedule. I’m a hiker/ runner so if your dog needs exercise I can provide that Does your dog have a favorite routine walk I can help maintain that while you work/vacation. Etc. I can play tug of war as long as your dog needs. Does your cat love chasing a feather? I’m quite capable of getting them active.

About: I’ve had and cared for dogs my whole life. I currently have four about 50lb dogs. (A Silver lab, pit bull/boxer, chocolate lab/pointer, and a vizla/pit bull/lab mix). Two that were rescues. My mom worked in a vet clinic when I was a child, and I grew up to be a vet assistant at a clinic myself. I know what to do in emergency situations, and remain calm. I am a very loyal and responsible person. I am also a very loving and caring individual. I love every shape, size, and type of dog. They are all unique and want to be loved in each individual way. About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was a child. I grew up taking care of my aunts dog. She was my best friend. I have been asked to take care of many loved ones animals and I have always been reliable and trustworthy. I work at puppies and yoga on the weekends. During the week I work at a thrift store in the mornings. I am a student at Matc and I have morning and afternoon classes on Wednesdays and Fridays. The best time for me to walk the dogs and pet would be the afternoon. I care for every pet as if they were my own, while always following the owner’s specific instructions and keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks or walks, playtime, exercise, and plenty of attention and affection. I also keep their environment clean, comfortable, and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their home and follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, crates, and house rules. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
