About: I volunteered at Forsyth Humane Society for 3 1/2 years. I also fostered for multiple shelters. I have worked with many different breeds, big and small. I currently have 2 large boys, 3 medium sized girls and 1 small girl, of my own. I am a certified dog trainer. I have experience working with dogs with special needs (physical), behavioral issues and other specific situations that require special attention or instruction, making me a trustworthy care taker for dogs who require special accommodations (dogs needing to be kept separate, leash pullers, feeding separately, dogs fearful/anxious of new people, dogs who simply need someone to take time to earn their trust or who need their normal routine followed.) I am not just your average sitter, safety is priority and I understand every household has different needs and requirements. I am comfortable and happy to work with dogs of any breed or size I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can be flexible. I currently have time in the mornings or late afternoon/evenings for drop in visits I have multiple crates for dogs in my house. I also have kennels outdoors for my dogs to play during the day, which are covered. I will be sure to follow any instructions you may have for your pet. I will ensure to establish a connection with your pets so that they become familiar with me and comfortable and take the time to learn things they do and do not like or activities that they may enjoy doing.

I'm semi retired and have flexible availability, I can board, walk mornings or evenings and weekends are no problem. If boarding, small dogs only please. I do not have a fenced yard so would use a leash or harness. I've never crated a pet but would if the owner prefers

My work takes me oceanside for extended periods: so when I’m available to house/pet sit for you, I am devoted to all their needs. About: There are very few times in my life that I haven’t owned a dog. I grew up with dogs and my husband and I currently own one dog- a big lovable knuckle head who will love to meet your dog. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of opportunities for play time. I both currently work from home, so I am able to dedicate a lot of time and supervision to your dog! I have always had a family dog growing up. I have a lot of experience with dogs from all walks of life - puppies, geriatrics, to hands on health needs. My dog Gus is very friendly and loves to play. He is very open to visitors and new friends! Please feel free to contact me at any point if you have any questions. I work from home 3-4 days per week so I have the capability of full time supervision and frequent potty or outside breaks. I work a normal 8-5 job. My back yard is fully fenced in so no chance of escape. We also have a back door that leads directly to the back yard. I have two dogs of my own I care for so adding an additional dog doesn’t change much for me so long as your dog isn’t nervous around big dogs. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to host dogs at my house or go for walks. I have flexibility over the days I have to go in to the office. Our home is very easy going. My dog is a free feeder, allowed on furniture, beds, and gets human scraps. We have a fenced in yard for space to run around off leash.

About: I was raised on a farm with cats and dogs. I have a plott hound mix, a pit bull, a lab, and a sassy calico cat, all rescues, of my own. I have a lot of compassion for animals and treat them like members of the family, albeit spoiled ones. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while their human(s) are gone. I am comfortable with cats and small to large dogs at any energy level. My neighbors, vet, and friends can provide references, if needed. I work in education, so my summer schedule is wide open. Nights, weekends, and some holidays are possible during the school year. I am able to check in, walk, stay overnight, etc. In your home, I will follow the instructions given and take pictures to let you know your pets are well taken care of. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible while their humans are away.

About: Friends, coworkers, and family members have trusted me with taking care of their pets over the years. Most of my formal experience with caring for other peoples pets came during and after college, however I was raised around pets (cats and dogs) and learned how to be safe and responsible with animals when I was very little. I am very comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a good understanding of basic commands and have trained two of my own dogs from puppies. I grew up around dogs and cats (we had three golden retrievers at one point!) and always looked forward to getting a dog of my own. There is something about the bond between owner and dog that is special and unique. I enjoy having this bond with my own dog but I also love meeting new animals and seeing their personalities come out as they get comfortable interacting. I have been exposed to many types of dogs at local dog parks and dog friendly restaurants or other locations. I am familiar with caring for dogs that take oral medication and/or have health problems such as limited sight or blindness. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about hiring me for dog walking, check-ins, or dog day care! I have one small child in the home, so any dogs staying with us during the day or overnight would need to be comfortable and well behaved enough to be around a young child. I wake up early and go to bed around 9pm/10pm. I have one dog in the home who is very friendly and well socialized. He takes little to no time to warm up to other dogs when introduced. Your dog will have plenty of space to be comfortable to chill and play! We enjoy spending time outside on nice days. When it is too hot or cold outside I make sure our pup gets playtime or enrichment toys/treats inside. I currently can offer dog walking services, daily check-ins for cats or dogs, and day/night boarding at our home (as long as your pet is a good and safe fit for a home with a small child). We have a large front and backyard with a carport/porch area. Plenty of space for playing fetch, having the zoomies, or chewing on a treat while getting some fresh air, rain or shine! If your dog requires being leashed/walked when going potty, there is plenty of space to take them around the yard as well as walkable streets near our house, and a park less than 2 minutes away. Our dog currently follows recall and commands to do his "business" but if we are caring for another dog we will leash them both or follow the owner's preferences and what they are comfortable with.

I keep their space clean and make sure they have fresh water, food, and a safe environment. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
