About: Friends, coworkers, and family members have trusted me with taking care of their pets over the years. Most of my formal experience with caring for other peoples pets came during and after college, however I was raised around pets (cats and dogs) and learned how to be safe and responsible with animals when I was very little. I am very comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a good understanding of basic commands and have trained two of my own dogs from puppies. I grew up around dogs and cats (we had three golden retrievers at one point!) and always looked forward to getting a dog of my own. There is something about the bond between owner and dog that is special and unique. I enjoy having this bond with my own dog but I also love meeting new animals and seeing their personalities come out as they get comfortable interacting. I have been exposed to many types of dogs at local dog parks and dog friendly restaurants or other locations. I am familiar with caring for dogs that take oral medication and/or have health problems such as limited sight or blindness. I have one small child in the home, so any dogs staying with us during the day or overnight would need to be comfortable and well behaved enough to be around a young child. I wake up early and go to bed around 9pm/10pm. I have one dog in the home who is very friendly and well socialized. He takes little to no time to warm up to other dogs when introduced. Your dog will have plenty of space to be comfortable to chill and play! We enjoy spending time outside on nice days. When it is too hot or cold outside I make sure our pup gets playtime or enrichment toys/treats inside. I currently can offer dog walking services, daily check-ins for cats or dogs, and day/night boarding at our home (as long as your pet is a good and safe fit for a home with a small child). We have a large front and backyard with a carport/porch area. Plenty of space for playing fetch, having the zoomies, or chewing on a treat while getting some fresh air, rain or shine! If your dog requires being leashed/walked when going potty, there is plenty of space to take them around the yard as well as walkable streets near our house, and a park less than 2 minutes away. Our dog currently follows recall and commands to do his "business" but if we are caring for another dog we will leash them both or follow the owner's preferences and what they are comfortable with.

About: First time doing this on a professional app! I’ve been caring for pets for a couple years—both as a long-time dog owner and friend to similarly-minded friends. Recently, I’ve gotten into caring for reptiles and amphibians, including feeding and changing humidity when needed. About: I was raised on a farm with cats and dogs. I have a plott hound mix, a pit bull, a lab, and a sassy calico cat, all rescues, of my own. I have a lot of compassion for animals and treat them like members of the family, albeit spoiled ones. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while their human(s) are gone. I am comfortable with cats and small to large dogs at any energy level. My neighbors, vet, and friends can provide references, if needed. I work in education, so my summer schedule is wide open. About: I volunteered at Forsyth Humane Society for 3 1/2 years. I also fostered for multiple shelters. I have worked with many different breeds, big and small. I currently have 2 large boys, 3 medium sized girls and 1 small girl, of my own. I am a certified dog trainer. I will love your furbabies like they are my own. I work from home 3 days per week and usually have weekends off from my full time job. I have a fully fenced yard with a dog door so as long as your pup gets along with my dogs they will be able to roam my house and yard freely all day when I am home. My pups are a mix of active and lazy/cuddly. My yard is fully fenced with special care to block any would-be diggers or jumpers. Dogs are crated when I am not home or cannot watch them. For dog walks, I can accommodate meals and medications if needed along with let outs and walks.

About: There are very few times in my life that I haven’t owned a dog. I grew up with dogs and my husband and I currently own one dog- a big lovable knuckle head who will love to meet your dog. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of opportunities for play time. I both currently work from home, so I am able to dedicate a lot of time and supervision to your dog! I have always had a family dog growing up. I have a lot of experience with dogs from all walks of life - puppies, geriatrics, to hands on health needs. My dog Gus is very friendly and loves to play. I work from home 3-4 days per week so I have the capability of full time supervision and frequent potty or outside breaks. I work a normal 8-5 job. My back yard is fully fenced in so no chance of escape. We also have a back door that leads directly to the back yard. I have two dogs of my own I care for so adding an additional dog doesn’t change much for me so long as your dog isn’t nervous around big dogs. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to host dogs at my house or go for walks. I have flexibility over the days I have to go in to the office. Our home is very easy going. My dog is a free feeder, allowed on furniture, beds, and gets human scraps. We have a fenced in yard for space to run around off leash.
