“Vicki was incredibly accommodating while caring for my mother-in-law’s cats, especially since she isn’t used to having someone new look after her animals. Vicki provided reassurance every step of the way and maintained excellent communication while cats were in her care. She is a true animal lover and completely dependable. We highly recommend Vicki to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

“Alexandra was great to our two fur babies. She came to meet them in advance and they already seemed to like her. She was able to give one of our cats his medications each time she came, she played with them, and she gave them lots of love. She was also very prompt in her communication and provided lots of pictures each time.”

“Jen took great care of our old boy cat while we were out of town. She was communicative every step of the way and sent plenty of pictures, which we loved. We could tell that our cat was in great hands, and felt content and safe with Jen. We’re so grateful for her time!”

“We’ve had Grettel check-in on our kitties a couple of times now and she’s been great every time! I love all the updates she gives and communicating with her is easy. Our shy kitties have really warmed up to her and I feel so much better leaving town knowing that Grettel is there to check on them. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've cared for many cats and dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and oral medication administration. I'm a patient and compassionate pet owner, and I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love and care I would my own. I'm also a graduate music student in case your pet might want to be serenaded by a french horn :) I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look well in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, bathing, and medication. I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. With cats, I love to cuddle, play, and practice or try new tricks with treats.
About: I have had cats for a majority of my life and have had the responsibility and pleasure of caring for them! Most recently I cared for a cat in the end of her life, accompanying her on vet visits and making sure she was as comfortable as possible. I also have experience walking and taking care of dogs! I work remotely so I have a flexible day time and evening schedule. If you are in the office or out of town for the weekend I am around. I have the flexibility to walk, feed and play with your pet while you are at work! Because I currently have a cat I do not offer in house boarding, but in the home I am respectful of the space, leave it the way I found it, all while making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for!
“Bre’ahna is wonderful! She’s dog/house sat for us and done drop-ins as well. She took great care of our pups, followed our detailed instructions for our older pup, and left the house spotless! She sent us lots of updates and gave us peace of mind while we were away. I trust her with all of our dogs 100% and don’t have to worry when they’re in her care. She’s a gem!”

“Rebecca was great with my cat Jamie! He really opened up to her over the 2 weeks she cared for him, and she kept the apartment cleaned up nicely. Would definitely hire her again!”

“Monica was an excellent cat sitter! She was very communicative, thorough and great at her job. I was nervous about leaving our new kitten so soon after adopting her, but I had these plans in the calendar for a while. Monica went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I was very happy. Will definitely be booking Monica again in the future.”

“Aliza is lovely, she cared for our 3 kitties while we were away and took great care each day to change their food/water/litter and spend time with the ones who would let her spend time with them. We will absolutely be reaching out to Aliza again when we go away. Thank you!”

About: Hello! :) I love animals, dogs, cats, fish, pocket pets, exotic, etc.! I have extensive experience with cats and have been with cats my whole life and I have been told many a times that I am a very fast learner for anything I have not done before. In 2025 I completed the "Pet Sitting, Training, Grooming Microcredential" at SUNY Ulster. The Microcredential included the following classes; Pet CPR & First Aid, Behavior Medicine for Animals, and Restraint and Handling. As of 11/01/2024 I am certified in Pet CPR by RECOVER and ACVECC. And as of 02/23/2025 I have a certificate of Completion in the Fear Free certificate program by Fear Free Leaders in Animal Wellbeing. I am currently a student at SUNY New Paltz and I am usually there around 11am to 3pm 4 days a week (After May I will be available all days and times of the week). When I am not there I live in Kingston with my parents and two cats, Pilot and Trixie. I will make sure your pets get lots of play time while you are away. I can take pets on walks, water plants, get mail, clean up messes, etc depending on what you need. And I have no problem complying with any weird quirks your pets have. (My cats have some very specific games they like). I also like to report back on what we did, anything that is possibly out of the ordinary, and of course I can send pictures!
About: I have trained two puppies, and taken care of a senior dog who sadly recently passed. I understand the patience required for both ends of the spectrum. Currently my puppy is just 9 months old, and very sweet with all other pets. I can help with socialisation, or just general care and walking, whatever you need! I am a graduate student in a very flexible program, just working a few hours a week at Bard College, the rest of the time at home. I have access to a yard, and my friendly puppy to play with. I am happy to follow feeding schedules, and can maintain training routines. I have a crate if your dog needs their safe space.
About: Growing up with 6 dogs in our home at once, I have a special connection and love for animals. Working with rescues, pure breed dogs, females in heat and knowing how to whelp, has given me plenty of experience. I have been boarding dogs in my home for over 7 years. I am home full time, with the occasional errand to run. There is a place to hike, with great trails, right up the road from my home. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can run, play and hangout in the sun. I live on 9 acers, for us to explore and go for walks. I have dogs of my own, so your dog will have plenty of socialization and play time. Raw food diet or special dietary issues are not a problem. Meet and greet is required for all potential stays.
