About: I've cared for many cats and dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and oral medication administration. I'm a patient and compassionate pet owner, and I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love and care I would my own. I'm also a graduate music student in case your pet might want to be serenaded by a french horn :) I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look well in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. About: My care for animals is rooted in my nature. I have spent 28 years loving and caring for dogs, cats, and livestock like sheep and goats. I currently volunteer at the Ulster County SPCA weekly doing dog and cat socialization. I bring genuine passion, care, and patience to each pet that is in my care. I am available for pet visits and walks from 6am to 11am and 8:30pm to 10:30pm during the week. My availability on the weekends is much more flexible. Let’s chat and come up with a plan. With over two decades of animal experience, I know that trust is earned, not assumed. I take time to read each pet’s cues, honor their boundaries, and follow your established routines. Your home environment stays calm and consistent, your dog’s walk stays safe and controlled, and your cat always has the space they need to feel secure.

About: Growing up with 6 dogs in our home at once, I have a special connection and love for animals. Working with rescues, pure breed dogs, females in heat and knowing how to whelp, has given me plenty of experience. I have been boarding dogs in my home for over 7 years. I am home full time, with the occasional errand to run. There is a place to hike, with great trails, right up the road from my home. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can run, play and hangout in the sun. I live on 9 acers, for us to explore and go for walks. I have dogs of my own, so your dog will have plenty of socialization and play time. Raw food diet or special dietary issues are not a problem. Meet and greet is required for all potential stays.

I was born and raised in a rural part of northern NJ where we always had a wide variety of animals as well as 2-3 dogs at any given time; predominantly German Shephards. (We also had fish, cats, chickens, horses, rabbits and more!) I have a strong love and appreciation for all animals, but especially dogs, and would love so very much to take care of your pet while you are away. I love going outdoors and being physically active and would love to share outdoor playtime with your pet. Why I love dog sitting I've had dogs my whole life. My family predominantly raised German Shepherds - and we typically had 2-3 dogs in our family at any given time. Dogs have always created a special connection and friendship for me that is irreplaceable! My experience administering medication Yes - so long as the owner feels that it is appropriate and manageable. My schedule is quite flexible, so I have time in the morning and mid day to attend to animals and take them for a walk, give feeding, attention, etc. - As well as flexibility in the evening to give dinner, evening walks, etc. At the moment I am not accepting pets in my home, however, I currently don't have any animals of my own so if I do board pets, they will be the only animal in the house.

About: I really love being around animals as they bring a lot of joy. Over the years I have pet sat for various family friends, co-workers, colleagues, and friends of friends pets. While pet sitting not only have I been responsible to feed the pets, give them water, let them out to relieve themselves, clean up after the pets, and take them out for a walk but I also have looked after the house. Additionally, I have been working for a company so couples beloved dogs can attend their weddings. Previously, I have volunteered by fostering dogs and dog walking. I am available most weekends and off most holidays. I do work full time so if it is anything during the week I do not get home until after 5 pm. Anything during the week I need to know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. I would care for your pets as one of my own. I am flexible and come to your pets home so they are comfortable in their own environment.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was about 10 years old. I currently volunteer at our local animal shelter and have a dog of my own I rescued in college. I also rescued a cat when I was a bit younger and working in the foster system with cats. I genuinely love pets so much and have experience with older pets, administering medication, puppies, and even aggressive dogs. I’m currently working full-time for the leasing office at the property I live at. I love my job because my own furry companion comes to work with me everyday. I have completely free time on weekends to care for your furry friends and am free most weekday afternoons and can make windows of time throughout the week. My dog and I live in an apartment building and he was crate trained when he was a puppy. I would walk your dog using whatever harness/leash you prefer making sure their paws are safe and are well taken care of. I can give them enrichment time from doing training, playing with toys, or running around outside if there is a place they can do so safely.
