They reported that he went very happily with her and was excited to see her when she collected him for his next walk. She provided photos and some short video during the walk which reassured me that Max was happy and safe. I would definitely use her again.

About: Growing up in a family that rescued and trained animals, I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life. Caring for them has always been second nature—whether it was helping a scared rescue settle in or teaching them to trust and thrive. Most recently, I lost my beloved dog, and the house hasn’t felt the same without that familiar joy and companionship. I now have a quiet, peaceful home and plenty of time to give your pet the love, comfort, and attention they deserve. With me, they’ll be treated like family. As a stay-at-home mum, I’m home most of the day and have lots of time to give your pet the care and company they need. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or just being nearby for comfort, I’ll make sure your pet never feels lonely. My quiet home is a calm and cozy space, perfect for pets who enjoy a relaxed environment and plenty of attention throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a quiet, peaceful home where they can relax and feel secure. I’m home most of the time, so they’ll always have someone nearby to keep them company and make sure they’re happy and cared for. My small, fully fenced garden provides a safe outdoor space for fresh air and play without any worries. With me, your pet will be treated like family in a calm, loving environment.

About: Currently I'm a beginner in terms of pet sitting! My experience has primarily been with cats. They have such unique personalities, and I love their independent yet affectionate nature. Each cat I've cared for has taught me something new about their quirky behaviors and needs. That being said, I'm definitely open to expanding my pet sitting services to include dogs. I've taken care of a few dogs for friends and found the experience to be incredibly rewarding. Dogs bring so much energy and joy, and I enjoy the active engagement they require, like daily walks and playtime. Recently I completed a pet sitting and dog walking diploma to assist with learning more about different breeds in regards to both cats and dogs, including their specific care requirements. Balancing the care between cats and dogs would be a wonderful new challenge, and I'm looking forward to broadening my pet sitting experience! 😁 Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine because I have a lot of free time to dedicate to the pets I look after. I enjoy structuring my day around their needs, ensuring they get plenty of attention and care. Typically, my mornings start with feeding and spending some quality time with the pets, whether it's a play session with cats or a morning walk with dogs. Throughout the day, I make sure to check in on them regularly, offering companionship and keeping them engaged. Evenings often include another walk for dogs and some relaxed downtime for cats. Having ample free time allows me to be flexible and responsive to each pet's unique needs and routines, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-cared-for. I truly enjoy integrating pet care into my daily life, as it brings me a lot of joy and fulfillment. As a beginner pet sitter, I prioritize safety and trust in every home I visit. I always double-check that all doors, windows, and pet enclosures are properly secured before leaving. I take care to maintain the security of the home, being mindful of any potential hazards or risks. Should they request them, I keep the owners informed about their pet's well-being through regular updates and photos. I treat the owner's home and belongings with the utmost respect and care. I adhere to the agreed schedule and any specific instructions given by the pet owners. Rest assured, I take the responsibility of caring for your pets and home very seriously. Your trust and the safety of your pets and property are my top priorities.

About: For the past two years, I’ve been caring for small and medium-sized dogs—a journey that began as a way to heal after the loss of my beloved Harvey. His passing left a void, and I found comfort and joy in surrounding myself with the unconditional love and affection that dogs bring. What started as looking after the pets of friends, family, and neighbors has blossomed into a fulfilling part of my daily life. Along the way, I’ve built wonderful relationships with both the dogs and their owners, and this experience has deepened my passion for animal care. Spending time with dogs not only brings me immense happiness but also benefits my mental and physical well-being. I truly adore all things cute and fluffy—dogs, cats, and beyond—and believe every animal deserves the best life possible. If I can contribute to making their lives better, it’s a privilege and a joy. I work full time but I am based at home and my work schedule is flexible. For example, a lot of my current clients require a lunchtime walk, so I will take them to the park for a quick runaround before I drop them back off and settle back in to the daily grind. If you require dog sitting services, where I can work from your home but taking small breaks to attend your pets - then anytime is perfect. I am also free most weekends and will let you know at the earliest convenience if I’m busy and unable to do a specific day. I have a small but secure back garden which is fenced off. I have a small outhouse that doubles up as my art studio. This can be used for pooches to sleep, chill out or join me for a spot of painting. Pooches can have full access to the house, although I do have a cat who likes her own space so will probably keep her in the bedroom until she’s comfortable.

About: I have had first-hand experience raising my own dog (a cockapoo) for the past 10 years so I am very confident in all aspects of dog care — from practical skills such as feeding, playing and training to understanding typical dog behaviour and building a loving bond with them. Having my own dog has also meant that I am highly familiar with safe walking routes in the area, so would be comfortable in adapting to the route or length of walk that your dog is used to (whether it is an off-lead or on-lead walk). In the past I have also volunteered at Ivy Boarding Kennels where I walked dogs of all different breeds and temperaments which has built up my confidence in quickly and easily building a trusted relationship with new dogs and making them feel safe and happy. Overall, my experience has made me a very capable and trusted dog carer who you can depend on! I have no ongoing commitments over the upcoming summer months as I am home from University (from the 8th of June onwards) therefore I would be available whenever it suits you and your dog, whether it be just for a walk or staying at your home! However, I am on holiday from the 19th of July until the 2nd of August so won't be available for those dates. I am more than happy to follow any specific requirements and instructions that are given to me to make sure your home and dog are safe. I understand that every dog is unique and trained differently so I am willing to adapt to their familiar routine and training style. My own dog is crate-trained, lead-trained and clicker-trained so I am very knowledgeable in those areas. On dog walks, I would feel comfortable letting your dog off the lead to roam in a safe environment, provided I have your permission and that your dog has good recall.

About: Cared for dogs for over 15 years and had dogs for my whole life. I'm self employed and have time to spare, I lost my Lab a few months ago and miss being out with a dog so much. Really excited to care for more dogs and take advantage of my work/free time situation. I'm a self employed photographer and filmmaker so I spend a lot of time at home. I'm an early bird and often have lots of time to nip out for walks. I love getting out in all weathers and have done for many years whilst caring for my own dogs. My dogs have sadly passed now and I'm looking to get back out and exercise whilst caring for your pooch too! :) I'm home a lot and live near the beach, a nature reserve and an enclosed field so lots of lovely options for dogs to walk on and off lead if needs be. My home is secure and just inhabited by myself and two dog loving older children.

About: I have always had dogs, cats and other animals, I have two grown daughters who are occasionally around. We have always had dogs, including at different times, labradors, cocker spaniels, working collies and sight hounds. I have experience of puppies from birth. I have cared for relatives and friends dogs on multiple occasions and have experience of house sitting caring for dogs and cats. I have very positive review on another house sitting site, I’d be happy to share. I work at home 3 days a week, so am happy to work in your home spending the day with your pet. I am confident walking dogs, experience of up to 5 at a time, but prefer to limit to maximum of 3 at a time. I provide positive reinforcement and plenty of affection. I will care for your pets and animals as I would my own, with calm and affection. I work from home 3 days per week so when pet sitting I will be available all day for company and up to two walks a day. I will provide a safe, calm affectionate environment fitting in with your preferences and your animals needs. I am very happy to give lots of strokes and cuddles as well as stimulating play as required.

I can allow mine to meet and greet your dog if you like that’s fine

Wally has looked after our family dogs and also done check-ins for our cats several times over the last few years. He is reliable and he and his wife really care for our animals. Having had a dog of their own, they are experienced in pet care and are able to offer our dog a friendly home with a large garden, which she much prefers to ours! I would wholeheartedly recommend Wally and his wife to anyone looking for pet care.

Used to look after my dog as my next door neighbour when my shifts were too long for her to be left alone. My dog adored her !!

Roxanne has been amazing, I have a westie dog called Lady who is getting old now, she’s 12, and she gets anxious around new people. Roxanne took time to make Lady comfortable, at her own pace, and now has a really close bond with her. She takes her out for walks & looks after her in our home when we’re out / away. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with Lady, and couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you for everything you’ve done for her & continue to do!

Matthew is one of the kindest, most caring people I've ever met. His genuine warmth, care and compassion would makes him an ideal dog sitter. Having had his own dog, Jasper, he knows how important your dog is to you and he'll treat them like family from the moment they meet. Matthew has a passion for the outdoors so your dog can look forward to leisurely strolls round the park, walks on the beach, or hikes through the countryside. I know Matthew will go above and beyond to make them feel happy, safe and secure. I've seen firsthand the joy and comfort he brought to his own dog and so I couldn't recommend him highly enough

Lisa Irving has looked after my three cocker spaniels on a number of occasions, most recently earlier this year, when we were abroad, skiing. I have no hesitation in recommending Lisa as a caring, practical, capable and trustworthy individual who is comfortable with and understands the requirements of both dogs and their owners.
