About: . I’ve lived on farms and had pets since I was born. I’m used to looking after large and small animals from cows to fish. I currently have a cat and a couple chickens (which are in a separate garden) and have looked after friends and family pets, and I’d love to welcome more pets for a stay at my pet ‘hotel’! Ive also volunteered at an animal rescue helping to walk the dogs and clean the kennels and cattery. With all the pets I’ve had I’ve suffered great losses of my best friends and recently my house has been feeling rather empty for me and my cat who lost two of his family members recently due to old age, so I would love to meet and care for your pets as being around furry friends always makes me feel better! From playful puppies and kittens to the older gentler fluffs, I’ll ensure your pet gets the care they deserve, wether that’s running about in the garden, or administering medication I’ll be there for them I don’t have a job apart from looking after pets so you can rest easy knowing I can be with your dog 24/7 and I love to spend my time with animals as they always make a day better. I live with my parents who are also big animal lovers so your pet will never be alone in case I have to pop to the shops! With having no job it means I can accommodate to your pets needs easier, such as taking them out at certain times if they’re on a schedule, administering medicine and feeding them when they’re used to. I live in a bungalow so there’s no stairs to worry about, and have a large garden with a small area covered in trees for those hot days spent in the shade, the area is fenced off and looked after so no worries about your pet eating anything harmful. I’m in the country side and there are endless walks around me to take your pet on. I’d love to know about your pets before they arrive such as their diet, when they get fed and how many treats their allowed, how much exercise they require and just general knowledge of their personality so that I can make their stay as comfortable and happy for them as I can. I have a couple photos of my garden uploaded and am just a short drive to the seaside for those dogs that live the water!

About: Hi, I’m Heidi. I have been qualified as a veterinary nurse for 5 years and I have worked in practice for over 10. I have always grown up with animals from cats and dogs to horses and small furries. I am also an ultra runner. I spend a lot of time out running the trails and I love running with dogs! My main focus is getting out running with those dogs that are higher energy. I am confident with large breed dogs and used to handling/ running with them. My years of vet nursing mean that I am able to look after all dogs and their individual needs. I’m currently reducing my hours with work and so have a lot more free time! This means I will have plenty of time for dog walks/ runs and I also have a lot of availability for pet sitting/ daily check ins. I will always look after your pet like it is one of my own. I will follow all set instructions left for their daily routine/ needs.

About: Pooch obsessed- dedicated in providing fun and safe care to your fury companions. Play dates, potty breaks, sleepovers and little get away holidays for them. I am a full time palliative care nurse- my shifts change weekly. Full time shifts consist of 3 days a week so I have plenty of time for your pets. I own a three bedded house with a fenced garden surrounded by a rural area only 20 mins from the Lake District. Your pet can be free roam around the home or caged whichever is normal for their home life.

About: Always had pets, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and rodents, from being a child. I have dog & cat sat for family and lots of friends many times over. Have also owned a dog and a cat myself in the past. My family has a Pet Supplies business of over 25 years and I have a great deal of experience in all aspects of what pets need. Have training experience if required and love animals of all kinds. I'm currently not working, I do have to go out on Tuesday and Thursday mornings but only for 3 hours on the specified days but the rest of the time I am at home and available to your pets. Please note, I do occasionally have my children overnight so if children are a problem for your pets please let me know and I will be able to tell you whether or not they will be there on the days you are wanting my services. I have a nice dog friendly, fenced garden fully enclosed and plenty of space in the house and several dog walking trails right next to my house.

About: I grew up surrounded by a variety of pets, including goats, alpacas, dogs, fish, giant snails and stick insects. I have owned dogs all my life growing up with hounds, whippets and a staffy and now owning my very lazy lurcher- Layla. As well as having pets in my home life, I have worked with animals professionally for 10 years. I started working at a kennels and when I was 14 and later became supervisor. There, I have gained experience caring for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, small furries, birds and reptiles whilst their owners were away on holiday. We also looked after rescue dogs who came into our care due to them being neglected or abused or because their owners simply couldn't care for them any more. The most rewarding part of this was seeing the physical, mental and behavioural improvements after receiving proper care and love, often for the first time in their lives. I have worked with a variety of breeds, ages and temperaments and have no bias. I am familiar with aggressive and reactive dogs as well as those who are terrified of their own shadow. I am willing to provide the extra time and patience that these pups require to ensure they're happy and comfortable. I have experience in walking/ enrichment, cleaning, feeding, basic grooming and medicating- including oral, topical and injections so I am happy to discuss your pets' needs. **I have a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Care and Welfare** I currently do group walks twice daily as I have my own business 'Hounds at Holme' and can do drop-in visits at breakfast, tea and bedtime. I follow instructions carefully to make sure your pets receive the care they need and you desire. If your dog has special requirements such as staying on lead at all times or wearing a muzzle then that's not a problem. I am trustworthy and reliable and will strive to provide the best care possible to all pets. I am insured, DBS checked have a certificate in pet first aid, 10+ yrs professional animal care experience and hold a level 3 diploma in animal care and welfare.
