“Ella has been so fab so far! We met before we booked the walks in and she was so easy to communicate with and shows a real love for dogs. She has been flexible when I needed to change dates and taro loves walkies with her :)”

About: I've grown up around animals from lambs and chickens to dogs and cats. I've also done dog walking for friends and family. Cared for dogs in animal shelters and adoption fairs. I've learnt husbandry care through my current degree in animal science and am constantly in close contact helping dogs into their harnesses and finding treats they enjoy at work in a pet store. I currently work part time and attend uni on Mondays + Tuesdays. Therefore Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays I'm unavailable for the first half of the day but happy to care for your pets in the afternoons as well as mornings during the rest of the week. As my calander follows term times I will be much more available during school holidays. So please don't put of reaching out just to check as I personally know how stressful it can be finding someone during holidays to look after your pet. I want to make you as the owner feel confident and secure and so will require information no matter the service I'll be providing in order to make sure we're all comfortable. Any rules, health issues or precautions that I may need to know I'll ask for and follow securely as no owner wants to worry about their pet or the person looking after them. I'm also more than happy to take photos and update you whenever they're in my care.

“Elizabeth is super professional and has helped me out at short notice a few times. Ruby always enjoys her walks and is very tired and content afterwards. Thanks so much Elizabeth!”

I am pet first aid trained and fully insured in my own right alongside Rover as I have my own pet services business in Sheringham. Andrea has recently joined me on Rover to help offer more services and help with bookings. We offer a range of House/Pet sitting, Walking and Pop in Services. Please get in touch to discuss the services you may require for your pets. Kelly - I work full time running my pet services buisness where I look after people pets, I have a range of regular walking clients as well as repeat customers who we house and pet sit for. Andrea - Retired from full time work but helps out with Sitting and Walking when required so we can hopefully cover more of your needs. As well as walking your pet we also will look after you pet in their own home whilst you are away on business or a well deserved break. Please note we only house and pet sit in non smoking homes. We have many satisfied customers and can provide additional references on request. We want you to feel comfortable and assured that your home and pets are in safe hands and will be looked after as if they are our own.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life - currently I have two collies and a pug. Due to this I have extensive knowledge and looking after dogs comes naturally to me such as adequate water top ups, toilet breaks, cuddle sessions, walks, etc. One of my collies is blind and diabetic so I have experience with special needs animals. I am also skilled in administering medication - she is on injectable insulin so I can administer medication through injections with no problem. My other collie has arthritis so I’m also capable to giving tablet form also even if they’re fussy! I also have experience with live in pet sitting having done two years of a couple of two week long live ins for a family friend with French bulldogs. This included feeding, adequate water top ups, walks, playing with, cuddling, cleaning up behind them, and much more! Additionally I’ve puppy sat and been a live in sitter for four weeks from newborn to older stages. This also included a puppy that needed hand feeding. During this I changed the pads, kept the puppies clean and safe, helped mum have free time and feed the pups, giving mum toilet breaks and food and water etc when needed. Additionally at the end of my stay as a perk for the family I made sure to clean their house to the highest standard - I always make sure to leave a place spotless after staying there so you can be sure you’ll come home to happy pets and a clean and tidy home! I currently do not have a job and am home for summer during university - I will be going back to uni on the first week of September where I will have uni twice a week but no more. Because of this I am completely available at the moment! I can do this 7 days a week. I will follow an exact routine should you like to give one. You may make any requests for your animal including how many times they need feeding, walking, cleaning or washing. I’l always ensure a clean and topped up water bowl with fresh cold water and make sure to mop up any spillages, as well as cleaning food bowls after every meal. If you don’t wish to give a routine that’s absolutely fine I will follow your basics and provide fun filled days for your animals based on their energy levels. Food will always be given correctly based on the food manufacturers suggestion for your pet and/or how you like them to be fed. I like to keep dogs leashed during walks as I believe this keeps them safe - however if I find somewhere safe for them to be let off or you can provide evidence of fantastic recall I am happy to take them off leash.

About: I have grown up with pets from a very young age, coming from an animal loving family I have always been around and loved animals. My first pet was a hamster and I also had cats and dogs growing up. Currently I have a cat called Bagheera I got him when he was a kitten and he is turning 8 this year. He is an extremely nervous cat and having him has taught me a lot about the unique personalities of our pets and their needs. I have looked after neighbours and friends pets and I am always excited to spend time with them. I offer a variety of walk durations and can adapt to your dog's individual needs. I'm a great fit for dogs who enjoy exploring Cromer and the surrounding beaches and parks, or who prefer a more relaxed pace. As a pet owner I understand how much they mean to you, and I am dedicated to provide the care and attention they need and make their wellbeing and safety a priority. I'm currently working full time Monday to Friday however I am only in the office 3 days a week and my hours are flexible. I am also available during the weekends and bank holidays. Whether looking after your pet at home or taking them out for a walk I will ensure that they are safe and be mindful of their individual needs. I will also ensure to maintain good communication of your pets behaviour and well-being. I am a very organised person and maintaining a clean and tidy environment comes naturally to me.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbours, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including energetic puppies and nervous rescues. Being local, I know the best walking routes and green spaces nearby. I tailor care to each dog’s needs — whether that means quiet time, active play, or medication support. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for daytime pet sitting or walks. I’m available most weekdays after 2pm and can also do morning or lunchtime walks on certain days. I’m happy to work with your schedule to keep your pet’s routine consistent. I always treat pets like they’re my own — with care, patience, and attention to detail. Whether walking your dog or caring for them in your home, I follow instructions closely and keep you updated with how they're doing. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, and I always aim to provide both peace of mind and a happy experience for your pet.

About: My experience is varied: I have lived with dogs at different times when sharing accommodation (and helped with walks, pets and sometimes even training). When I set out as a nomad in 2019 I volunteered in a dog shelter (about 30-40 dogs, some on wheelchairs) and towards the end of 2020 I started doing pet sitting, the first one was planned to be 1 month and ended as 4!. It's been incredible: I have since sat for many different dogs, from a bark-y Border Collie afraid of loud noises to a super smart rescue mutt, from a Miniature Pinscher to a gentle giant and a Rhodesian Ridgeback "puppy". Some well trained, some unruly, some older, some younger and some that I was given the pleasure to do some training with, especially for pulling on the lead (she made lots of progress, we both did, as it was a learning curve for me too). I have done pet sitting for cats at times, the most memorable was the one pictured in the photos, he was free to roam and one day came back with quite the nasty injury but we got it to heal and close up within a short time, with lots of care and attention (and dashing at doors so he would not escape during the healing process!). The owner was surprised to see him cuddling with me as he doesn't like most humans, so I like to think he knew I wasn't keeping him a prisoner for no reason. I have also fed fishes, a snake and an iguana, and watered plants of course =) I freelance and work from home, which makes my schedule incredibly flexible. Weekdays, weekends, it's all mixed together and adaptable, so just tell me your pet needs and we'll work around them. For hobbies, I like to play board games, read a book, do a puzzle or watch something online. All pretty relaxed :) I also play the ukulele (though some sound sensitive dogs have meant pausing practice while sitting, eheh). With pets, and especially dogs, it's important to be consistent. They thrive on their routines. I would aim to learn what your daily activites look like (walks, feeding, play time, etc.) and match them. I can also help with a little bit of traning if needed or welcomed. I have several experiences with anxious dogs (either anxious towards people, towards other dogs or both) and know how to handle encounters with others during walks. All my sits so far have gone very smoothly and the dogs/cats and I have bonded every time. I can provide a link to some reviews on other platforms until I have built some here.

About: I’ve owned a variety of fur babies from cats to dogs to hamsters so know what it takes to look after yours. I have plenty of experience walking and sitting friends and family’s pets and understand that each one is different. I’m currently working full time in Aylsham but am able to walk your pup before or after work (9-5) and drop into your house on my lunch break (dependent on distance). On the weekend I am available all day to care for your pet. Pet sitting hours are over night and evenings all days, and day times on the weekend. I have experience with pets with behavioural problems and understand that it may take a moment for us to get used to each other. I can provide a calm, clean environment within your home for us to play, have cuddles or simply hang out in the same room. Whatever your fur baby wants to do.

About: Fully Qualified in pet sitting and dog walking. Full DBS has been completed. I have had previous experience working in a Boarding Kennels. I have had several Dogs myself of many different breeds. I also used to train Greyhounds and Whippets within the Racing environment. I set up the business to continue my love of working with animals. But mainly to provide a service that allows Clients to ensure their pets are well looked after when other commitments call. I know how close to us our pets are so clear communication with my Clients on how their pet is doing would be key. I set up Bark 4 the Lead at the beginning of 2024. This is my full time Job so the pets that are boarded here have my full attention throughout the day and night. I offer dog walking which I complete in the morning for a couple of my Clients. I live in a very quiet area down a service track. The property is fenced in with no other pets in the household. I recommend clients to visit with their pets prior to booking so they feel comfortable and reassured.

About: My name is Mike, and I have been owned by dogs for the last thirty years During that time we have been owned, as a family, by three Weimaraners, two from seven week old puppies and a rescue, who we had from the age of seven until she was fourteen. Our third owner was a ‘fat’ Beagle, who we rescued about five years ago, and who lived with us for four happy years. Our current ‘boss’ is an nine-month old Labradoodle, called Max, who is currently training us to be at his beck and call. I run Rain or Shine Dog Walking Service and am available Monday to Friday. I am Holt based and cover a 10 mile radius (approx) from Holt My main priority is the dog(s) I am looking after. I only walk 2 dogs max at any one time as I believe this is better for the dogs and gives the owners peace of mind that their pet is being properly cared for and supervised while out of the house

“Thank you to Amy (and her kids) for walking our dog Paco while he stayed at my parents in Aylsham. He can be a handful sometimes and difficult with other dogs, but I felt he was in safe hands. Amy sent photos and maps of the routes they had walked. Thank you!”

About: I’m a gentle and loving character towards all dogs. I love going on walks and am happy to adjust this depending on the dogs needs. I am confident in providing medications if needed and can follow instructions well for any more complicated prescriptions. I currently work remotely from home, so will be around to keep your dog company throughout the day and to go on walks over lunch and at the end of the day! I am confident around dogs of all sizes and adept to their needs, recognising when they need to go outside and if they are not eating as expected.

About: I've been around dogs since I was born, older dogs and puppies, so I am comfortable with dogs of any age and most sizes! I love getting out in any weather for walks, and am comfortable taking more energetic dogs for longer walks if required. I also have some experience pet sitting dogs who require medication and am comfortable with doing so if needed. I currently work for the National Trust along the North Norfolk coast. I have previously worked as a marine biologist for various charities where I have experience in wild animal handling, so I am fairly confident in looking after most pets. I'm an early riser and enjoy walking in the morning and would welcome a walking companion! My fiancée (who would also be helping dogsit) is also a dog lover. Jess has grown up with dogs as pets, and also worked at her uncles dog kennels - so has plenty of experience with lots of different dogs! (Jess is also on Rover as a verified sitter). I am very careful about the environment I would introduce a dog to and make sure they are comfortable, calm and don't feel overwhelmed. I have a large garden, but have lots of walks just nearby too. I think having a dogs trust is vital so I always like to meet a dog before a stay if possible and allow them to approach me at their own pace without stressing them out.

About: Growing up with trained labradors has taught me lots about caring for dogs. As well behaved as they are, you will find them lounging on sofas and beds, living life comfortably. My garden is large and fenced. Two friendly black labradors live inside and will welcome any other dog immediately. I have a crate too, if that is what you wish for!

My partner works from her salon Tuesday - Friday in fakenham so she can also provide services there if need be. We have a big car so taking big dogs out for a great walk is easy to do! “Sophie looked after our two dogs fantastically when she stayed at ours house sitting for two weeks. They were walked as much as we asked, fed exactly how we asked, had lovely clean fresh bowls of water and spent time together playing in the garden, I would say they had her full attention from what we saw. We also got frequent photo updates of what the dogs were up to with captions from Soph with updates which was lovely while we were away. She also kept us updated with when she had arrived, when she was going out, when she was taking the dogs etc which was really nice to know. The dogs love her and whenever she’s around now they hardly leave her side which is lovely to see, she’s just generally a lovely ball of light and you can see she’s in her element - the animals love her.”

“I am delighted to recommend my son, George, for dog walking. George has grown up surrounded by dogs and pets since he was a toddler, and from a very young age he has shown a natural gentleness and understanding around animals. He is calm, patient, and very aware of how to behave responsibly with dogs – whether that’s keeping them on the lead, being mindful of where he walks, or making sure they feel happy and safe. Over the years he has regularly walked all of our family dogs, and now takes our Norfolk Terrier out with real care and consistency. George is a kind, empathetic young man who truly enjoys the company of dogs. He is completely trustworthy and treats every dog as if it were his own. Any dog in his care will be safe, well-exercised, and loved.”
