“Absolutely fabulous! We were very nervous as we have never had anyone else look after our cats other than family and felt that putting them in a catery wouldn’t be a good idea - especially as we have one elderly cat and one previous stray. Lauren has now given us full confidence in leaving them with her again in the near future. They were so well looked after, with photos and even videos sent for peace of mind. The house was left tidy after her visits and we felt very safe leaving the key with her. Thank you once again Lauren and hope that you can sit for our moggies again very soon!”

I work in a school, so in term time, am available for drop ins and walks 5.30pm to 8pm. Weekends 10am to 8pm. School holidays, anytime. I find it hard to reply in the day, but you can expect a reply from 6pm. I won't leave you hanging. ‐-------------- Been a dog mum for 14 years and counting! Don't be alarmed, I do refer to my dog Elvis, as my son and I'm not sorry about it! I've had Elvis since he was 8 weeks old and we have gone through some hard times together. I've trained him, have become a master in medication administration, including dog wrangling for the application of eyedrops and ear drops. Due to Elvis's age, I've had to start shortening his walks but we have lots of fun toys to keep his mind sharp! Just started a pet first aid course too! As I work in a school, I have a lot of free time which I am happy to offer for drop ins and walks. During the school term, I can offer services after 5.30pm, up to 8pm, as well as all day on weekends Right now, I'm offering services outside my home. I'd love to meet with owners 1st to understand their rules to give their pets consistent care.

About: My family have always had a passion for animals. We have had everything from birds to bunnies to any type of dog breed you can imagine. I have trained many puppies from huskies to shitzus and also cared for more senior dogs such as staffies. As a teenager I was part of the community Watch for stray dogs and I would take the dogs into my home until we found their owners by posting them online, hanging flyers etc. I have a real passion for animals and making sure they have the adequate care and love. I currently work remotely 2 days a week for my role and spend 3 days a week in office. My work is very flexible around which days I spend at home and also if I need more days working from home e.g. if you need me to sit for a week and be with the dogs majority of the time. I am T-total and spend all my weekends at home so I am available 99% of the time. I have a female husky called Mila with me at home and she is currently 14 years old. I always ensure she is walked twice a day and fed not only nutritious dog foods but also lean meats to help with her digestion and overall health. We make sure gets plenty of attention and play even though she is a very independent dog. I would cover all of this on top of regular washing, brushing and any other type of grooming or care you would like. These are just a few of the things I would ensure to keep your dog happy and healthy in my care!

About: I've grown up with animals, worked and volunteered with dogs. I worked in Thailand for a time in a rescue shelter for dogs caring for many strays. I've grown up with a cocker spaniel and rescued a mixed breed who is coming up to 9, he lives with my parents but my mum and I rescued him together until I moved out and it was unfair to take him with me. I currently walk a Tibetan spaniel for an elderly lady and will be staying in the home of a couple who go on holiday and I'll be looking after their Border Collie and English Bull Dog. I want and love to help, dogs are so precious and they bring so much to our lives. I'd love to support you and give you the peace of mind that your pet is being cared for well. I am only free on weekends, this can include a Friday evening. With notice I can try and accommodate your needs for week days, please feel free to ask. I'm more than happy to help in the pet owner's home, I will respect your space and ensure your pet(s) are safe within the boundary of your property. I've supported pets before in other people's homes I've met from Borrow My Doggy, and I make sure I keep all necessary doors locked on leaving and entering, as well as windows. I'm diligent in ensuring your home is secure and your pets safe and happy.

About: I grew up around dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and other animals and I really enjoy working with them, especially dogs. I have extensive paid experience as a pet sitter, mostly with dogs and cats. Spending time with animals makes me feel wonderfully happy and fulfilled. Having lived in London for the last 10 years, I had the opportunity to look after and spend time with dogs of many breeds, sizes and personalities and I always enjoy learning more and adapting to their own needs unique traits. I love spending time around animals and caring for them is so emotionally therapeutic and rewarding and often they're a great inspiration for my art as well. I joined Rover because lately I started to have more people asking me to look after their pets lately and because I enjoy it so much, I decided to allow more time for it. I am an artist and I also do some part time personal training work, teaching functional movement, postural correction, breathwork, and sports conditiong. Due to the flexibility in my schedule, I can be around to look after pets when people need me. I live in a flat so don't have a garden but have some wonderful parks nearby and Epping forest is not very far. There are many wonderful places around to take dogs for walks but I'm always happy to look after them at the owner's house as well.

“Hope met our dog for the first time for an extended pop in and everything went very smoothly. Jojo is generally very anxious, but settled very well and I feel very confident in leaving her again in Hope’s capable hands. Many thanks :)”

“Lore took care of Onyx while we were on vacation and she was the best sitter we have ever had, by a mile! She was the sweetest with our scottish terrier and even today we play the videos that Lore used to send us while she was sitting Onyx and he still remembers her and wags his tail. She was extremely caring and took him for little adventures (just like we did)…could not recommend her enough!”
