About: I have taken care of & loved all the dogs we had when I was growing up and now enjoy looking after our daughters rescue greyhound Dolly I am currantly not working but do look after our grand daughters on a Thursday & Friday. I try to be flexible around weekdays and weekend & the services I can provide at the time of enquiries I have a safe, fenced in garden and live in a quiet village with lots of lovely country walks of varying duration on my doorstep.

About: Me and my partner, Bronwen, have both always had family pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and more! We have experience with puppies and older dogs and cats, and are both physically active and happy to exercise energetic dogs. We both work from home almost every day, with flexible hours, lunch breaks and access to a car for transportation. We regularly go for runs and walks and would love to have company! We have a large and secure garden for your dog to run around and quiet indoor rooms for them to relax. We are able to work remotely from your home if preferred.

About: I have cared for animals from the age of 11, when my parents set up boarding kennels, I lived and breathed the company of the dogs we cared for. As well as many years experience working at the kennels, I am always first choice for friends and family who need pet care or walks whether they are at work, going on holiday or just too busy that particular day. They all know I prefer animals over humans and don’t take it personally! I’m currently taking a break from work and can look after your fur babies every day and overnight if required, either at my home or theirs. I am available for walks every day or even just company and belly rubs if that’s all your baby needs. I have a private fenced garden and your pets will be in the safest hands. I have a 3 year old Labrador who could be great company for your fur baby, Willow loves to swim at any opportunity and run in the fields, rain or shine, day or night and sometimes all day!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and caring for them comes naturally to me. Growing up, I looked after not only my own dogs but also my neighbours’ pets. At boarding school, I even helped care for our teachers’ dogs, which deepened my experience with different breeds and temperaments. I’m confident with everything from playful puppies to older dogs who need a gentler touch. I work full time at a hospital, so I’m available in the evenings and on weekends—perfect for people who need dependable care outside of the usual 9–5. With a lifelong love of animals and a responsible, nurturing approach, I treat every dog as if they were my own I work full-time at a hospital during the weekdays, so I’m available for pet sitting and dog walking in the evenings and on weekends. Whether it’s a quick evening walk, weekend check-ins, or overnight care, I’m happy to fit around your schedule and provide reliable, loving care when you need it most. Your pet’s safety is my top priority—whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home. I always use secure leads and harnesses, stick to familiar routes unless advised otherwise, and stay alert to surroundings to avoid any hazards. In your home, I make sure routines are followed closely, doors and gates are secured, and your pet feels comfortable and calm in their own space. You can count on me to provide a safe, caring environment every step of the way.

About: Me and my husky Eska are excited to welcome your dog into our home! I have experience living in a family with six dogs over the years, of varying breeds, from puppy to elderly. I make sure to prioritise Eska, and will treat any dog i’m looking after with the same care and attention - this means lots of walks and cuddles! I am a freelance designer, and very flexible. I have plenty of time to walk your dog, encourage play time with toys and any other care that may be required. My home is clean, tidy and free of hazards. I have full access to a fully fenced dog park for off-lead exercise. I have space for multiple dogs to be cared for, including overnight.

About: I am here because i would like to become more active and take more care with my health so i would love to have some company on my walks! I have grown up with dogs and other animals so i believe i have a good range of knowledge when it comes down to animals. I love being around animals, and looking after them. It’s so rewarding knowing that animals are loved the way humans are I currently work a full time job however i’m semi flexible when it comes down to looking after your pets! I don’t work Thursdays and Fridays (unless requested otherwise) so i’m completely free then. As for the weekends, i only work 4 hours per day (5-9am) , so im usually available all day after then!☺️ I would ensure that the surroundings both inside and outside of the home are safe. Such as fencing being secure so that your dog cannot escape or any intruders cannot access inside. Also i would ensure that there is no dangerous objects that your pets could chew such as loose cables, small objects etc.

“We had aimee drop in visits twice while we got married. We have 4 house cats and didn't want to put them in a cattery. So this service was ideal. Couldn't recommend aimee enough, she sent pictures over and let me know my furr babies were ok. Letting us have the best wedding day and no stress or worries. She was amazing”

About: Hi I’m Niyah, I’m 24 and local in the Cumbria area! Trusting someone new with your beloved pet can be scary, at the end of the day they’re part of the family and a big responsibility, so here’s why I would be a wonderful sitter for your furry friend. First of all I have many fury pets of my own, dogs and cats and I’ve grown up around them, walkies, playing with them and simply having them be my biggest companions. I love to go dog walking on any day and I’m always available if your pet is needing a feed, bathing or letting out, I’ve been trusted by friends and neighbours and now I’d love to meet some pets around my community. I know the importance of your pets physical and mental stimulation and I am spending my time studying animal care to gain knowledge and more experience in what I love ! I’m currently working full time but alternating shift patterns and frequent days off, so I have plenty of time to visit your furry friend and take care of them wether it’s a nice long walk or an indoor play, feed, bathe or a sitter I will always be around and happy to help. My availability is frequent but please do ask in advance so i can ensure I will be there for you consitantly , I can only provide home sitting for 1 night at a time due to working commitments. I will be providing care for your pets within your home to ensure they are in a comfortable and familiar environment with all of their toys, snacks and necessities right at hand at all times and this will also make it easier for you as no need to bring them anywhere, I can also provide things of my own if requested. If your pet is requiring a walk or will be taken out of your home I can ensure that your pet will be kept safe on a lead and a trusted familiar route and I will always have a water bowl and a ball to chase on me so that this walk is the most fun your dog will have in the day!

Sharon A.
“Sharon was amazing looking after our dog Dolly for three weeks whilst we were away on Holiday. She cared for her like she was her own dog, gave her lots of love and long walks. We are pretty sure our dog didn’t want to come home! She also understood that our dog is not always comfortable with other dogs, and can’t always be let off the lead, and we trusted that she knew what she was doing. I cannot recommend Sharon more to look after your dog or to take your dog for walks. She sent us lots of updates of Dolly and reassured us she was ok. Any dog is lucky to have Sharon be the one to take care of them.”

Kieran W.
“Kieran has loved having a dog in his family since he was a youngster and has often had sole responsibility for caring for the family dog. Now he has moved into his own home, he rarely sees the family dog, and is surely missing the fun, friendship and companionship having a dog around brings. Other commitments mean he can't have his own at the moment, but he has a lot of love, energy and experience to bring to supporting other people with their dogs. He is mature, reliable, trustworthy, and loves long walks, and of course dogs!”

Rebecca D.
“Becky has been a dream come true when it comes to looking after our dog's Baxter & Elsa, they are labrador's full of energy and adore her lake district fell walks, they get so excited every time she arrives. Becky is reliable, communicative, and it is clear she absolutely loves and lives for what she does, we always get pup-dates with great photos about their day and each walk. Becky goes the extra mile and we feel truly at ease knowing our pup's are in such caring hands. We highly recommend Becky to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog walker/sitter.”

Elizabeth M.
“Elizabeth has always been caring and kind towards all animals, but particularly dogs. This includes sponsoring guide dogs and rescue dogs overseas, to now having her own rescue dog, which she has provided a lovely home to. Elizabeth is very active and enjoys getting out and about, walking and hiking. She also has a calm disposition, positive energy, and she is very trustworthy and reliable.”

“Where do i start? Niyah has been fantastic with our beloved dog bengie! Bengie becomes so excitable around niyah and was good as good after spending time with her, niyah sent plenty of photos during the day for our peace of mind and bengie couldn’t have looked happier. Thank you niyah!”
