“Chris, and her family, were amazing with Harley. He was so well taken care of and loved in their home. I have already booked Harley's next stay. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.”

“Kyle did an amazing job! I have 2 dogs, one of which is anxious towards other dogs. Kyle sent me photos and videos of my dogs each day and even got them to play with other dogs he had sitting! He does a great job and I will be booking with him in the future!”

“Julie took great care of our dog! She made sure Daisy only ate her own food, which is not always easy to do with multiple dogs. She sent photos so we could see she was adjusting well and enjoy our vacation without worrying about our dog.”

“Nemesis did amazing for our 2 dogs! This was their first time saying anywhere else besides family. Nemesis sent pictures and videos multiple times per day. I could tell they were loved and cared for by their facial expressions!”
“Cody and Tia were great! Super responsive and sent me photos and videos throughout the day so I knew my pup was being well taken care of. He came home tired and happy and I will definitely be using them for any future dog sitting needs.”

“Felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her. She sent pictures and videos and Daisy seemed to be having a great time. Cindy is also so sweet and personable. Will definitely use her for my baby again!”

“First trip away from home for our little 4 month old Stella. Michael and Ashley and their 3 daughters and their 2 pups provided a welcoming and safe situation for our puppy. We were able to enjoy a couple of nights away with no worries. We hope this is a longterm relationship with this super-nice family. 0”

“Allison and Sloan did so good taking care of our puppy! We were gone for almost 3 weeks and they treated our dog as their own! They sent tons of photos and took him on walks and hikes. We felt like our puppy was taken care of above and beyond! We would definitely have them watch our puppy again when we leave town!”

“It was my first time using a dog sitter, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Angelia took amazing care of Piper and kept me at ease the whole time. I’m so grateful for her kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend her!”

“Jana was awesome! She took Baxter on short notice and was so willing to help out. Sent pictures and we felt so good about leaving him. Will definitely book with her again. She was great!”

“Communication was perfect! Mary took care of my fur babies so well and sent daily pics and updates. Recommend her to anyone looking for attentive care for their pets.”

“Margaret was incredibly organized. We were able to meet with her prior to our dog's stay. She took notes on all the needs our dog had, including his chicken allergy. When we dropped him off, it was clear she had reviewed her notes and was ready to give him the attention and love he needed. She sent us pictures of him while we were gone. Her communication skills were excellent and she was flexible with our drop off and pick up times.”

“Absolutely wonderful people - they are dog whisperers. Wash is a nervous rescue and he had a blast. These two are so loving, patient, and kind...you won't find better sitters anywhere else!!”

“I was very nervous about leaving my lab, Hank, with anyone. Ashley provided confidence that he would be fine and would do well. Ashley provided photos and messages each day which helped me not to worry. Hank was in great spirits when he got home, which had not been my experience when leaving him with a different dog sitter. I have a GPS tracker on Hank and he received more active time than normal so I know he had a good time playing during his stay and had plenty of exercise. I finally feel like I can leave Hank and know that he will be well taken care of, thank you, Ashley and family. I hope you will be available to watch Hank again for us. Thank you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Uintah
Things went well using Steven R to care for our dog, Gus. He communicated well with us & let us come for a visit beforehand to check things out. They had a nice big yard. Gus got along with his 2 dogs, and I like the fact that he doesn't take on a ton of dogs all at once. Two of Steven's daughters seemed to take an interest in Gus to give him some love & attention. We would certainly take Gus there again!
We entrusted Chris with the care of our two dogs for the first time, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we left, we felt reassured thanks to the regular communication, updates, and photos showing how well our dogs were settling in and being cared for. It was clear that our dogs received plenty of attention, affection, and excellent care throughout their stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending Chris to other dog owners and will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thank you Chris, Deedee and family for taking such wonderful care of our Ben and Mae!
Bailey is the best! We keep coming back because we know she takes good care of our dog Cookie while we are away. Our dog always jumps right out of the car and runs up to her. Cookie loves Bailey! She's great at communicating and awesome to send updates. Thanks for another great experience ❤️

Sandy is very personable and knowledgeable about dogs. Since our first meeting, she has provided info about how she cares for dogs, her own as well as others. Cooper liked Sandy & her home and yard right away. He was happy to leave with her and happy to come home. She was kind and understanding about the nervous peedles. Sandy sent videos showing Cooper having fun running, and playing with a dog she provides daycare for which I appreciated. I provided Cooper's food, but when he charmed her into giving a little more rice with carrots and green beans, she cooked more for him. Will definitely ask Sandy and Chris to take care of Cooper again.

Danielle is amazing! She took the time to learn what specific needs my dog had. We've had our dog for about 6 months and there were some behaviors that we were really working on. Danielle took the time to understand our pups needs and Tova is all tail wags when she sees her! Highly recommend!

Our absolute favorites. They love our dog like he is their own, and then some. We actually feel bad picking him back up every time because we know he is having so much fun and being so well cared for. They are always so patient, communicative, and kind. We always check with them first and can’t recommend enough.

Christina was super attentive in her care for our dog Lizzi. She kept in touch with us and shared photos too. She took her on walks and Lizzi even ate her food which is hit and miss typically. I could tell Lizzi was happy and in good spirits when we picked her up. Much better experience than a local pet boarding company who had so many dogs it was overstimulating. Will hire her again! 😃

- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
