I’d love an opportunity to help you and be trusted with your fur baby :) I am currently working very part time, I have too much time on my hands so I would love to keep your baby company! “I can't say enough good things about Emily! She took wonderful care of my pup, Camilo, for his drop-in potty breaks while I was on vacation at Hagerman. From the very start, Emily was incredibly communicative and accommodating with scheduling, which made the whole process seamless. She was careful to close all doors and refill his water. Her nice and polite demeanor and genuine care for dogs put me at ease, knowing Camilo was in great hands. I was thrilled to hear that he got along great with her, giving her tons of wags! I really appreciated that she went the extra mile by giving him treats and being flexible with our needs. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future if I’m back in the area (Idaho).”

“This was my first time leaving my large dogs for 2 weeks and I was a nervous dog mom and probably a bit of a bother at times but Lillianah was so patient and made the process as comfortable as possible. She did a drop in before the date so the dogs could meet her ahead of time which was really nice. During the 2nd week, the dogs started tearing up their beds and eating less. Lillian sent me updates letting me know what was going on. She was very patient and accommodating with my requests and did an excellent job of taking care of them. They were back to their usual behavior right away. I'm so grateful to have found them happy and healthy when I returned. Lillianah showed that her main priority was the well-being of the animals and she was flexible with her visits which was so important to me. She truly went above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend Lillianah to anyone who wants the best care for their fur babies. I will definitly be booking future appointments with her.”

“Jeanne was absolutely awesome, I was worried about leaving my 10 weeks old puppy all day, but Jeanne took such good care of her and sent me so many updates. I would 100% recommend her to watch your furbabies”

“Very very pleased. Such a sweet girl and obviously cares for your animals as her own. Super reliable, available for updates and thorough with her attention to care under her watch. Cant say enough good things about experience except big thank you to her!”

“Lori is a wonderful pet sitter who took excellent care of our cat Travis! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with Travis. She sent daily pics of Travis, and even brought additional toys for Travis to play with. Lori went above and beyond to ensure Travis was loved while we were away. When we came home after our trip Travis was very relaxed and happy. We will definitely be using Lori again!”

I could not have asked for a better pet sitter, Katherine was amazing and my boys loved her!! She has excellent communication and is very friendly. She helped my doggies feel comfortable while we were away, one struggles with anxiety and he did so well with her!! I cannot recommend Katherine enough, if you EVER need a dog sitter she is the person you want to have watching your pets so you can have peace of mind. Not only was she great but she was so flexible with my crazy scheduling and made it work regardless. If i ever need a sitter again i know who im calling!!

She was absolutely amazing, she followed written instructions to the t. It was nice to get the daily pictures I downloaded them and made a photo album because my cats never pose for me like they did for her. I don't know what she did. They were actually looking for her the first day I was home. I highly recommend Madisyn and will definitely use her in the future.

Sydney was great, and it looked like my dog had a really good time with her. Sydney was kind enough to come out in advance at meet with my dog, learn how to take care of her and make sure she got plenty of love. The pictures that I got while I was away were a nice touch, and I could tell Sydney really cared about my puppy even if it was for just a short trip. I’m already hoping Sydney is available next time I need someone!

Denise took very good care of my cats while I was out of town. She kept me informed about her visits and how my 2 cats were doing, in spite of the fact that the felines were shy about approaching a new human in the house. She was reliable, patient, caring and kind - a great pet sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
