If I could give Adam 100 stars I would! I was so worried leaving my 2 dogs, my 1 year old in particular because she’s nervous around people. He took the time and let her warm up at her own pace. He truly loves and cares about the puppies and their well being. He was very communicative and sent lots of pictures! I felt like with his report cards he gave me a really good idea of what my pups had been up to with him. This was my first time using rover and Adam informed me how everything worked and gave me information about himself to help me understand. I will be using Adam over and over again! My pups absolutely LOVED him!!!

About: 🐾 Loving & Reliable Care for Your Pets Hi! My name is Taylour, and caring for animals has always been something I’m passionate about. I spent 5 years volunteering at my local animal shelter and worked there for an additional year, giving me experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I also have two dogs of my own, Toby and Bandit, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us. I know that leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, which is why I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s going for walks, playing their favorite game, sticking to their routine, or simply providing companionship, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pets are not only being cared for, but are also happy and enjoying their time while you’re gone. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family members are in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! 🐶🐱❤️ I currently work 12 hour shifts but have multiple days open and free throughout the week. Please shoot me a message to discuss options / to work something out :) Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to learn their routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just extra cuddles, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. PSA: animal’s with disabilities or that need extra care are not a problem, just let me know in advance 🐾❤️

About: I've owned dogs all my life. I've been through all the life stages with them, from puppy to senior. I know how to care for more highly active dogs, to more docile dogs. I've trained my own puppies basic commands, and some tricks. I am a very patient, trustworthy, and cautious person. I love all animals, and will care for your pets as if they were my own. I also have experience working at a local boarding kennel, and have cared for other people's pets in the past. I clean houses on the side, so I would be working that around my Rover schedule. I am available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm. When I am taking care of your fur baby, they will get 100% of my attention. I will love on them, give approved treats or meals, let them out to potty, and play with them.

About: I have had dogs all my life and my pet chihuahua has been my responsibility since she was lifted to me. I have a lot of knowledge on many different breeds of dogs because I love learnings about them. I am currently a full time college student so in my week I like to fit pet care in-between classes and studying. I am also doing a lot of side jobs at well. My chihuahua has full range of the land but usually stays in the main backyard. Some days she's also inside, it all depends on how she's feeling and the weather. I can do the same for your pup too, in or out whatever is best for you and them. My dog is on a loose schedule, I try to walk her in the morning and evening when it is not too hot and I have water available constantly and changed regularly.

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience. Having lived in both an apartment and now a home, I understand how environment impacts a pet’s routine and comfort. I take the time to learn each pet’s unique personality and adapt my care to fit their needs, energy level, and temperament. No one-size-fits-all care here — just thoughtful, personalized attention so your pet feels safe, understood, and right at home. Currently have a very flexible schedule. I make plans around my booked clients. When working with a clients pets, I will be able to be around as much as needed. I get to know the pets routines and try to adapt so there is little to no difference when I am watching them. I have a fenced in back yard to allow animals to run around and play.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
