About: I have owned 4 dogs throughout my entire life and am a total animal lover! I love and enjoy walking and connecting with dogs, and have had much experience walking my own dogs (2 Portuguese water dogs) as well as dogs of my friends and family. I also have experience feeding, bathing, and playing with/entertaining dogs. They are my favorite! I am working part time with an ambiguous schedule, so I definitely have availability for walking dogs whenever! Weekdays during the morning/afternoon work best for me, but feel free to reach out about other times, I am flexible! I have a backyard with space to play around, as well as a retractable fence. I am comfortable crating if needed. My neighborhood is great for walking dogs as well.

I’m currently between jobs. I am available Monday thru Friday at anytime of the day for walking or sitting. I’m punctual and dependable whenever you need me! I’m very receptive to owners safety and notes. Reliable and observant when it comes to specific and unique dog care. Respectful of your home, not a smoker, very independent, and full of energy to keep you dog occupied

About: I've been taking care of pets - dogs, cats, birds - since I was 7. I know how stressful it is when you have a long day and worry about your baby being alone too long. Or when you want to go away for a few days but fret about ensuring your dog is in good hands. I've petsat for multiple friends dozens of times over the past 8-10 years, and anyone who knows me will vouch for my love of animals, dependability, and trustworthiness. I have a lot of experience with older dogs, such administering medications and taking any extra time they need. I will treat your baby as if they were my own, with love, great care, and fun. I am semi retired, and am currently training to be an ESL teacher. I live in North Truro April through October and am home most every single day, so have a very flexible schedule. I treat each dog under my care for as if it were my own. For a drop-in visit I will ensure your baby will have a potty break, fresh water, lights on (if evening), and plenty of attention and interaction. Walks in town or near roads will always be on-leash. If your baby loves the beach or dog park and is safe off-leash, we will have great fun there! If boarding, my condo is not fenced, so any dog who is not off-leash trained with excellent recall will be on leash every time we step outside. I live across the street from the beach, so daily beach walks are guaranteed!

“Karen is awesome with dogs. Punctual and flexible for appointments”

About: With a deep passion for animals and years of hands-on experience, I bring a level of care and understanding that goes beyond the basics. I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter for over two years, where I gained experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—including those who needed extra patience and love. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, build trust, and handle all kinds of situations calmly and confidently. I’m also entering my third year working at a dog daycare, where I manage group play sessions, monitor behavior, and ensure each dog is safe, engaged, and happy throughout the day. I’ve worked with puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable tailoring care to meet each dog's unique needs. What sets me apart is my commitment to treating every dog like my own—whether we’re going for a walk, spending the night, or just sharing a moment of calm. You can trust that your dog will not only be cared for but genuinely loved. I currently work at a dog daycare from Monday to Wednesday, 8 AM to 5 PM, but I have a lunch break from 12 PM to 2 PM, and I’m happy to do quick drop-ins or walks during that time if you’re nearby. I'm fully available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight stays. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, a weekend buddy, or some loving company while you're away, I’m here to help! Whether your dog is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, their comfort and well-being come first. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routines, and needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I will treat your home and your pup with complete respect. I follow all your instructions closely, from feeding to medication to where your dog likes to nap. I keep things tidy and make sure your dog feels safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’ll also send regular updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing.

About: Hi, I'm Steve! I'm a lifelong dog lover and proud human to Millie, my sweet and energetic 7-year-old black Lab. Millie and I are inseparable—whether we’re walking wooded trails, splashing at the beach, or just relaxing at home, she keeps me active and always smiling. I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to wise seniors. I understand the unique needs of each stage in a dog's life—gentle attention for older pups, structure and patience for young ones, and plenty of love for all in between. I'm also comfortable administering medications and adapting to dogs with special diets or mobility issues. What sets me apart? I treat every dog as if they’re my own—because I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care. I'm reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates and photos so you can relax while you're away. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, or just a cozy companion, I’m here to help. Millie and I can’t wait to meet your pup! Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. My dog Millie and I start every morning with a walk—rain or shine—which sets the tone for a calm, structured day. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and lots of cuddles throughout the day. In the evenings, we usually head out for a longer walk or spend time at the beach or park. Caring for pets isn’t a side task for me—it’s part of how I live. Whether your dog needs an active routine, quiet companionship, or extra TLC, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. In your home, I respect your space and your dog’s routine. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding schedules and crate training to play preferences and special care needs. Whether you have a shy senior or a high-energy pup, I adapt my care to meet their individual needs and keep stress to a minimum while you’re away. No matter the setting, my priority is your dog’s well-being—and your peace of mind.
