About: I grew up around animals. I had cats in my house throughout my childhood. I got my first dog when I was 12. I have cared for dogs for over 24 years ever since. I have experience with dogs with mobility issues, dogs with aggressive behaviors, and rescues. I have handled dogs of all sizes. I am currently in school. I am enrolled in an online program. I am available to do visits and dog (or cat) sitting throughout the week, outside of my live classes that vary each semester. I will give your pet as much attention as possible. I will follow your instructions (e.g., only giving treats as directed, feeding at specified times, crating animals, keeping animals off furniture, etc.). If your yard is fenced in, I can take your dog outside to play or just sit, whatever your dog's preferences are.

About: ***please only serious booking requests*** There have been a lot of last minute cancelations by pet owners. I am a female in her 30’s who just moved to the area and has had experience with caring for dogs and animals back near my hometown. In the past I have dog-sat my sisters 2 cockapoos for 6 or more years as she traveled for work. Through Rover I have been able to book many sittings and walks over the last 8-10 years. I have done drop ins to feed both cats and dogs and am comfortable with both. I am very respectful of the clients home and strictly follow any protocols put in place. I leave everything in the same order as it was found and make sure the animal is safe. I am currently working part-time and have some flexibility with my schedule. I just moved to the area and am open to mornings, evenings, and weekends and can do my best to work around schedules. I typically care for pets at the client's home rather than my own. My apartment building does not allow pets so I haven't been able to care for pets at my own residence.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up in an animal-loving household allowed me to learn about pets and how to tend to their needs. I have been volunteering at a local animal shelter of mine for over 2 years now. Since then, I’ve experience all kinds of personalities and needs that a dog or cat may have. About: Have taken care of many types of dogs from Dalmatians and Cane Corsos, to Pomeranians and chihuahuas. I will make sure your dog is taken care of and entertained to my upmost ability I am currently in school 2 days a week, as well as working on getting my private pilots license , but I would be out before 12 everyday. I could take care of your pet before as well as after my lessons. I will follow any rule given to me as well as any instructions about care or treatment of your pet. I will not snoop around or try and be nosy or go into any rooms you don’t want me to go into.

About: About Me Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a house full of animals—sometimes five dogs at once, ranging from a St. Bernard to Chihuahuas, along with pot-bellied pigs, macaw parrots, hamsters, bunnies, cats, finches, and plenty more. Needless to say, caring for animals has always been second nature to me! I was also a vet tech in college, which gave me hands-on experience caring for animals and a deeper understanding of their health, safety, and individual needs. Most recently, I became an approved foster home with Sandy Paws, which has been incredibly rewarding. My home currently includes quite the crew: Barbara Ann, my Persian cat; Pearl and Mabel, my two Boston Terriers; Taco, my bearded dragon; and Dunkin, my Polish Dwarf rabbit. I even have a koi pond! When your pet stays with me, their safety comes first. Dogs are on a leash 100% of the time when outside, and our cat never go outdoors. I also have a dedicated, private area where a dog can eat if they prefer to have their own space. I am happy to follow your pup’s exact feeding schedule and will stick closely to your instructions, including meal times, portions, medications, treats, or any other routine that helps them feel comfortable. I also take cleanliness seriously. I have a dedicated pet shower on my lower level, so after a fun stay, I can make sure your pup heads home happy, fresh, clean and squeaky clean! For the safety and comfort of every pet in my home, I do require a meet-and-greet before confirming a stay. This gives me a chance to meet you and your pup, learn about their personality and routine, answer any questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable. My home is truly a place where animals are loved, cared for and treated like family. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is to give you complete peace of mind while they’re with me. It is really the best part of my day, every day! All of my pets are on a schedule that I know like the back of our paws. Upon waking up I take turns letting the dogs outside, feeding them, giving fresh water and then play time. My cat likes to tell me that it is feeding time so I follow her to the dish. I am not fenced so I make sure ALL dogs are 100% leashed when going outside. I have a very large yard for playing and a very private driveway and street to walk them. My house is a safe space for all of the animals to free roam but also have privacy when they need it. The downstairs bathroom has my "pet spa" and then the laundry room is filled with light and a linoleum floor in case any accidents or spills happen. I can feed the animal in there as well. If I am visiting your fur baby in your home, I will treat your house with as much love and respect as I do my own.

As a pet parent to a nervous, reactive dog, I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different energy levels. We love to go to the canal and spend time outside. We have a fully finished basement with mini splits and air circulation system, perfect for any size dog to enjoy!
