About: As an experienced dog/house sitter who has rescued/fostered numerous dogs in the past 18 years and also a volunteer at my local animal shelter, I treat your family members as my own while they are in my care. I understand leaving your animals with someone can be very stressful not only for you but your furry family members. I don't mind staying in your home as I know some animals are more comfortable and less stressed in their own environment. I am a full time remote worker since 2020. I am very much a homebody who enjoys watching true crime shows, reading and doing puzzles. I like to get to know the owners and pets and stick to their normal routine as to not cause more stress for the animals while their owners are away.

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have grown up around both cats a dogs. I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs. My dog, Phoebe, was diagnosed with lymphoma in October of 2025, and I helped care for her by giving her medication, bathing her, taking her on multiple walks each day, and making sure she was as comfortable as possible. She passed away in May, and I miss our daily walks and spending time with her. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying close attention to a pet's individual needs. I currently have three cats and regularly care for all of them. I'm comfortable bathing cats, trimming their nails, and recognizing when they need extra attention or a little space. When I was nine years old, my family adopted a kitten that had been abandoned by its mother, and I helped bottle feed and care for him, giving me experience with very young kittens as well. This summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the day. Caring for pets is something I truly enjoy, so I'm happy to work around your pet's routine, whether they need early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, or multiple visits throughout the day. In the fall, I'll only have two in-person college classes, which will still leave me with plenty of flexibility to provide dependable care. I joined rover to be able to help with other animals & share my love during my time with them however you choose to book. About: I have been taking care of animals my entire life, I have experience with cats, bunnies, dogs, ducks, chickens, and snakes! I will give your fur (or feather) baby so much love, they'll hardly notice you're gone! I am currently a freelancer, who is underemployed so I can fit pet care into my day in whatever capacity is needed. I am happy to stay overnight as well. I have pet sat for many notable Dayton figureheads including Mrs. Ohio! My home is not equipped to host dogs, but I will happily come to yours. I am a cardio instructor who loves to be outside, so going on walks will be my favorite part of the day. Communication was amazing, especially when there was a huge unexpected snow storm! She problem solved with us the best way to ensure she could continue to take care of our dog with weather conditions making it impossible to drive. Our dog is more reserved with new people but she took to Emma immediately during her meet and greet and by a few days in to house sitting was fully comfortable with her! Our dog was happy to see us come home, but I think she's really going to miss her friend, Emma. Would 100% book again!”
