About: I've been a foster carer for various greyhound organizations here (ATX and DFW) and in Australia. I get the hounds that are cat safe and get them used to living with cats. I'm always fostering, which is why I cannot take in more dogs for sitting, but I can do pop-ins. Before I fostered greyhounds, I used to petsit for friends' parents. I love to scritch ears, make up stupid songs for them, and play on the floor. My current pack consists of two sighthound mixes and two middle-management cats. Am I Katy or Mary? Both. The joy of going by either the first name or the nickname. You can call me Katy. The IRS can keep calling me Mary ... and please, if you're from IRS, don't call me. I am currently working from home and would love the excuse to get out and walk or, when it's really too hot, engage in play in the backyard. I am mindful of the various personalities I could encounter. I understand that not all pets want to play. Some want to chill and know that you're there. Others need to get that energy out. When doing pop ins, I would be mindful of what their humans say.

Jessica was amazing with our dogs. She was very patient With our great dane who is not sure of new people sometimes. Both are our dogs were calm and happy when we came back which shows what a great job jessica did. She Followed all the house and dog instructions and we would hire her again in future for our pups. Lina took care of my dog and cat for two weeks while I was away, and I’m very grateful for all her help. She was sweet, caring, communicative, and clearly gave my pets a lot of attention and love while I was gone. Emily was amazing and took great care of my black lab mix, Sadie. Sadie is 5 YO - I’ve had her 1.5 years and I’m her 4th home, so that poor little girl has PTSD when it comes to meeting new people. Emilie got Sadie to warm up to her and I could tell from the pictures she sent that Sadie was very happy and well cared for — and she got her much loved walks!! Emily was also extremely respectful of my home and left it immaculate. I highly, highly recommend Emily!!!
Reem was absolutely fantastic. She took wonderful care of our 3-year-old golden retriever, and he was happy and clearly well looked after when we returned. She also did an excellent job with our home, leaving everything in perfect order. Her communication throughout the stay was clear, consistent, and reassuring. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation without any worries, knowing everything was in great hands. Reem truly went above and beyond, and we would happily book her again. Highly recommend!
