I have fostered over 40 cats and dogs from puppies and kittens to adults. I have taken care of dogs that are small to large breeds. Currently I have a cat and a dog that are spoiled rotten. About: I’ve had and cared for dogs my entire adult life from puppies to seniors. I’ve fed them, walked them, cleaned up after them, bathed them, played with them and loved on them. I have a high tolerance for slobber, hair, and muddy paws. I’m basically a stay home dog mom with weekdays and some evenings and weekend days free. I walk daily for exercise and would love some doggy company. I have four dogs at home and am used to walking them on leash, not letting them escape when entering and leaving the house and the enthusiastic greetings they offer when they’ve been home alone. I clean up whatever mischief they’ve gotten into and give them play time or cuddles or whatever they need. Before leaving, I make sure they have water and their environment is safe.

About: I've been caring for friend's and neighbor's pets since I was a teen, and I would love to come give your pets some affection and exercise while you're busy or away! I've lived with many dogs with many different personalities, and have experience working with reactive, anxious, and high-needs dogs. I adopted my (2yo) dog as a puppy and have been learning a lot about puppy training too! I practice positive reinforcement training and I'm happy to turn our walks and play time into opportunities to work on your pup's training. I'm available to come play with your dog, take them for walks, and make sure they get lots of loving attention! I currently work as a field botanist and my schedule is variable throughout the year. When I’m in town I can be available most times of day with advance notice. I try to keep my calendar updated a month or two in advance with my availability. I'm happy to follow any requests, rules, or special needs you have for your pet. I find treats to be a great way to befriend most pups- unless you have particular treats for your dog, I'll typically have treats to share! If your dog takes some time to warm up to strangers, or has trouble walking in places where they may interact with other dogs, I am more than happy to work through their needs with you and the pup.

About: Hi! My legal name is Amber, but I prefer Ash, and that's how most people know me. I am very excited to meet you and your pets! A little bit about me first, so you can see if I would be a good fit. I am twenty-four years old, and a business student at Pima, where I am going into my final year of my Associates degree. Luckily, all of my classes for this upcoming semester (Fall '25) are online, so I can spend more time with the pets under my care. I also work part-time (no more than 30 hours a week) at a doggie daycare and boarding kennel by Harrison and Irvington. If you are uncomfortable with your pet being left alone for longer than 6-7 hours, please let me know, as we can possibly work something out. My goal is to curate an environment that allows both you, as the owner(s), and your pet(s) to be comfortable during your trip. Background & Experience: I have owned a wide variety of animals throughout my life. I have owned large dogs, small dogs, and cats. Also, I have had the pleasure of rescuing an albino corn snake and a bearded dragon, who are both doing really well. Currently, I have a 20 gallon fish tank, but my family used to have a huge tank for two Tiger Oscars that I would help take care of. My family always took the best care of our animals for as long as we could keep them comfortable, and as a result of that, I have experience with administering medications to all manner of animals. I even helped my grandparents deliver medication to a horse once. I grew up having animals around me all the time, and have begun chasing my passion in dog training and animal care earnestly in the last year or so. Even though I have owned and cared for animals my entire life, I am still learning a ton from this job at the doggie daycare. Since April, I have been working at a boarding kennel and doggie daycare. This job has taught me the importance of taking notes and logging things like feeding and potty habits. This job usually has me scheduled from 6am to 12pm, although some days they do have me work all day. However, on those days, I get a decent lunch break that allows me to swing by and take care of any animals in my care. I offer mental stimulation in many forms, including training, makeshift snuffle mats, and sniff n search for toys or treats.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes. I own 3 of my own (2 female pugs& 1 male frenchie). I love being around fur babies so much that I was a dog bather for 2 years. I am very aware of their needs from that experience as well. I am oftentimes called a “dog whisper” just because of how calm and relaxed dogs feel around me even if they usually aren’t the sweetest at first. I have saved and fostered countless dogs on my own just from it being a genuine passion. I hope to own a nonprofit rehabilitation center one day for all animals to receive the love and comfort they deserve! This is my current job. I don’t mind last minute scheduling as long as you inform me on any special requirements your fur baby may have! I have 2 friendly female pugs that can keep your fur baby company. If you aren’t comfortable with that I will gladly keep them separated and take your baby to the park or go on walks to allow their energy to be released.
