About: Love talking to animals and figuring out their language. Sometimes it’s a way a cat rubs against you or a dog smells your feet love I have weekends open enough I could spend a night w a furry little person or a flexible work week to check in on a loved furry or scaly friend for water food and petting. I am a gardener biker and outdoor person rain or shine so a long walk in a rail trail fits in my schedule When watching my clients chickens outside I checked on their hen house and cleaned it out put in new hay and make sure they got food and water twice a day but at least one free range walk

About: Over 20 years of experience with dogs. Pulled my first dog from the ACC on 110th in Manhattan when I was 19 years old. Never looked back. I've been adopting, fostering, and rescuing ever since. Now at 41, I have my own boarding facility on a farm. ***Pick up and drop off service available*** Self-employed farm owner. My better half is also on the property full time. We are available and on call 24/7. Finding time to care for your dog(s) is never an issue. It is our pleasure to host your furry family member(s). We have individual furnished and heated kennels (with fenced outdoor runs) for our guests. There is a fenced play yard and walks are provided as well. If properly socialized and cool with the pack, all friends are allowed to hang in the house.

About: I've had the privilege of caring for a variety of animals over the years. From mice, rabbits, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks - I love to pamper them all! Being a committed pet parent, I've experienced and indulged in all the milestones - so I'm ready for the puppy edition all the way through caring for your senior family member. Being very detailed oriented and personally spoiling my own critters, I can support even the most high maintenance of fur babies! My fiancé (also on Rover!) ensure your furbaby is entertained around the clock! I work from home and handle the early bird shift, including your pup in the sunrise (bright snd early) farm chores. My fiancé provides the daytime activities including long walks and hikes on our farm, supervised yard time, play time. Evening activities include additional walks and games. Pups will have their last walk and tucked in for the night around 1030PM. I am extremely conscious of pet safety and following instructions provided by owners. When pets are at my home, they will not have any interaction with other animals- just me and my fiancé (who is also on Rover!). Dogs will always be on a leash, with the exception of being enclosed in a secure fenced in area. We have a 1 acre fenced in yard where dogs can have supervised zoomie time. Dogs will never be left unattended in the yard. Our fur guests spending the day or night will have their own room with a bed, crate (if preferred for their comfort or if they are beavers), ad lib water, etc.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: Animals are the best friends in our lives and deserve attentive care and respect, as well as an active life of curiosity and steady love! I am available this summer pretty much all the time. Those days when I am not available will not be on my schedule thank you! At my house we have four acres to run around on and a long private road with very little traffic where we can explore together (with a leash). There is a lot of fresh air and fun natural smells coming up from the woods to investigate!

About: I genuinely love all animals! If I could have 10 dogs, I would. Over the last 15 years I’ve cared for family and friends pets whenever needed, welcoming them into my home or visiting theirs. I love small dogs, big dogs, high energy dogs or low. I can adapt to almost any pets needs, frequent walks, extra snuggles, administer medicines, providing treats, and extra attention. I can’t wait to snuggle and spoil your fur baby. I lost my greater swiss mountain dog in July of 2024, and quickly realized life without a dog wasn’t for me. I adopted a new pup in October. We are excited to welcome your pup into the mix! I’m a teacher with all summer off, so I have unlimited flexibility during the summer months (July and August). During the school year, I work 7am-3pm on weekdays. My yard is unfenced, but your pup will be offered frequent walks and potty breaks. My dog and I spend hours of time outside every day. We walk the trails in our neighborhood and often go to local parks to explore different places. I typically follow your every directive because all dogs needs are different. If you tell me your dog doesn’t enjoy the heat of the summer, we will be couch potatoes in the air conditioning.
