The very regular pictures she sent showed a happy doggo, who seemed very relaxed and very trusting around her. When I came home, doggo was happy, well-fed, clearly well-taken care of. Moreover, Elise graciously took care of the doggo outside of the scheduled hours - both before my (changed) flight out and when my flight back was delayed. About: Caring for animals is second nature to me, I first began when I was 8 years old, helping my church members at their farms, which turned into me helping my babysitter with pet sitting when she would watch me. As I’ve grown I’ve come to follow her path and have been caring for my friends, family, and neighbors animals and I love every second of it! I’ve always LOVED to be outdoors and I’ve always LOVED to be around animals (sometimes more than being around people lol). What makes me unique in my animal care is my experience with ALL animal types!! As a Animal Science student with a pre-veterinary focus I’ve had years of experience working with all animal types in many different environments, from working with sheep, goats, poultry, and dairy cattle to years of work in veterinary clinics, so your pets are in good and capable hands! I am currently training to be a veterinary technician and have a strong background in animal behavior, feeding, administering medications, bathing, handling, and general veterinary care for cats, dogs, and rabbits. My strengths are in cats and dogs, farm animals, wildlife, and small friends such as mice, rats, and Guinea Pigs; and I am always willing to learn something new to best accommodate the needs for you, your home, and your animals. A fun fact about me is that I was recently Wildlife First Aid Certified at Colorado State University, and that I just genuinely love animals. My method is to treat every pet as if they were my own, which helps me to ensure that ALL ANIMALS receive the highest level of care, attention, and affection while their owners are away. Pet care fits into my daily routine via my current work in local Veterinary Clinics as well as my area of study as an undergraduate Animal Science Student. My educational background has allowed me to handle animals of all breedings while my vocational experience has sharpened my communication skills when it comes to quality pet care. For my dogs at home care I keep them on a structured routine of waking up at 7am, outside time, food and water, resting, a second outside time by 8am, washing their bowls & refilling their water, and when I leave for work I give them an enrichment toy to keep them occupied (especially my youngest dog). When I get home from work I let my girls back outside, check to make sure none of my stuffed animals have been shredded by the younger baby, feed them a small dinner, and I start getting them ready for bed, at 9pm they get in their beds have a snack, watch TV with me and go to sleep. When I am pet sitting for friends, family, & neighbors I feed and walk their pets at the provided scheduled time and I also make a point to spend at least 5-10 minutes playing with them and getting them some interaction for the day, as I’m sure they miss their family. My goal is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of fur babies, reptile friends, farm family members, and bird companions when their primary family needs someone to care for them.

About: I have taken care of animals majority of my life. From farm animals to small house pets. I have owned a range of different animals myself. I currently have my own furry friend. Toot Wednesday is a black long haired 6 year old cat. He is truly my baby! I have been a pet setter for family and friends for years now. Honored to be the friend they call first to sit for their dogs and cats. I also have a lovely partner who is a doctor of veterinary medicine for Banfield Hospitals here in GSO. He has taught me so much more on the everyday care for our furry friends. “I cannot praise Blanca and Mark's care of our babies and home enough to do them justice! They pampered our two rescue and reactive dogs with daily brushings and massaging, twice-daily walks and a lot of cuddling, training and rewarding in addition to feeding and medicating them on schedule. We received daily updates with videos and reports of each day's accomplishments. Our plants were monitored and new plants propagated. We even received gifts from their garden as well as (my favorite) a cutting of Pothos artfully displayed in one of our vases! Our refreshed home and relaxed fur babies made our homecoming not only painless - but very welcoming. They left our house, linens and appliances in pristine condition (not as we had left it) and even relieved some of the visible clutter! Blanca's eye for form and display were apparent throughout the house. Blanca and Mark's care this past week greatly exceeded our expectations and I will definitely be asking for their help in the future. I would give them more stars if possible.”

“Meghan interacted with Fendi beautifully. There was a scheduling conflict due to Meghan's other appointment obligations, causing Meghan to arrive several hours later than expected. A call would have been appreciated; however, she did not want to leave the other dogs unattended as well. After we spoke, Megan came as quickly as she could and took excellent care of Fendi. She sent lots of videos and pictures and gave Fendi lots of love. She was extremely apologetic and even refunded some of the additional cost. Fendi interacted well with Megan and when I returned back home it was evident Fendi was establishing a bond. The house was well taken care of and Meghan adhered to all the specific directions given that Fendi is a service animal. She played with her and gave Fendi the special attention needed to allow us to enjoy our trip with less worry. Meghan is mature and took on this assignment at the last minute, reducing my stress of being worried. This is the first time I have ever left Fendi with (3) different individuals with rotating times since I was going to be away for nearly a week. Meghan came through for us and I appreciate her willingness to make this transition of being away more accommodating. Her interaction with Fendi is why I will certainly call upon her again. She showed love and kindness to Fendi and that is priceless.”

About: Ive been around pets all my life! I started raising dogs when I was 11 and have helped friends and nieghbors with their dogs and cats since I was 15. Tasks have ranged from small check-ins with pets, to staying overnight to keep them company. Right now I work at a local food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sundays are also a busy day for me, but I can be very flexible and move times around with enough notice. I have one black short haired cat that I spend most of my time with. She stays indoors, but I let her come out on my back deck to get some air and a better view of the birds and chipmunks she always has beef with. She's the most hyperactive and persnicity cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, so I'm experienced with cats who have their own ways of playing.
