“Christopher is super amazing and patient. He was patient and carefully monitored Ricky’s energy around the other dogs. He is well communicative which is definitely a plus when it’s your first time formally leaving your fur baby in the care of someone you don’t know. I love how he allowed me to also monitor my dogs behavior prior to completely dropping him off. Christopher is super respectful and understanding. I would recommend and book again!”

“Talia did an awesome job with our sweet babies! They were quite nervous and she gave them reassurance and space in a calm environment. She was very communicative with me and made me feel comfortable leaving our fur babies with her! ❤️”

“She was the first person to ever watch after my pup for about 5 days, and now she will be the only person I go to! I was sent photos every day, she was able to give prescribed medication, she gave me updates daily & was happy to take my girl to go get a pup cup :) I have a very anxious pup so leaving her alone with someone new was nerve racking, but she is the sweetest person ever & my dog was immediately comfortable staying with her. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Lutisa was amazing! I booked a last minute stay for my 5 month old puppy. She was great at communicating and handling all of his energy. When I had to extend my stay by a night she worked with me and made sure my pup was taken care of. I was worried leaving him but she made sure he was taken care of an having a blast. He was exhausted when he got home from playing and running so much. I cannot thank and recommend Lutisa enough!”

“Gina took wonderful care of my two standard schnauzer pups. They are nine months old and still have enough puppy in them to be a handful. She loved on my dogs, took them with her outside on walks and while working in the yard, sent me picture and video updates. I don't worry about my dogs in the least bit when they are with Gina. She will take excellent care of your dogs while she has them in her care. She's my #1 option for pet care. I highly recommend!”

“First time using Rover. It was a great experience, it’s never easy leaving a pet in the hands of someone else. Grace seemed to do well with Rebecca and her family. I would recommend her!”

“Holly was an amazing host. Our 10 month old doodle was well cared for and happy. Holly shared daily updates and was always available whenever I texted. I really appreciate Holly's whole family for taking such great care of Gus.”

“We felt very comfortable leaving Rusty with Brooke. She was very pleasant and seemed very interested in knowing about Rusty and was happy to comply with instructions we had because Rusty is a finicky eater. We would definitely used her as a sitter again!”

“Christina was an amazing sitter for my dog! She was super communicative with me and provided updates everyday and at my request. I could tell that my dog was super taken care of and was able to live comfortably the entirety of her stay. I would highly recommend if you’re looking to drop off your pet in good hands!”

“Stephanie, Matt & their boys are amazing. Jake was very happy their while we were in the Spain & Italy for 18 days. They made him feel at home. I don't think he wanted to leave but did. Was Lost for a couple of days without the boys and dogs to play with. Thank you all so much. Highly recommend them to take great care of our Jake!”

“Ellie and Karson took great care of our dog, Moose, while my wife and I were gone for our wedding. We have an anxious dog, and I could tell he was super comfortable in their home. We will definitely be coming back to them for any upcoming vacations!”

“We were very pleased with Jazzys care, when we picked her up she was very relaxed, Ro sent us multiple pictures and updates as to how Jazzy was doing through out the 5 days she watched her, she always look very content. We will definitely use Ro again. We highly recommend her.”

“Rachelle handled our nervous hound well, understanding he needed a few minutes to evaluate the situation. Meet up before the stay was helpful so our dog could get to know theirs and them.”

“Absolute wonderful experience. My first time using Rover so I was nervous especially since I always take my chihuahua with me. Erica and her husband took care of my Hemi like he was their dog. Sent updates and pictures daily so it made my birthday trip so much nicer knowing my boy was safe and having fun. If you’re local to here you’ll want to look them up. Wonderful smoke free, safe environment.”

“Dessie took great care of our dogs. She took them to the dog park and sent us updates daily. She also gave us a nice bag of treats, doggie bags, and a nice letter! I could tell my dogs were super happy with their stay and well taken care of”

“Jane was so wonderful to work with! She took great care of our pups, and she sent frequent updates with photos and videos while we were away! We will definitely use Jane in the future! Thank you so much, Jane!!”

“Carrie and her family are amazing! She kept us updated with photos and all of Harleys activities. I couldn’t have found a better family for him to spend time with. He loves the children and the children loves him. We wanted him to be in an environment similar to our home and found that here with Carrie. Thank you so much! If I ever need help again, I’m always going to bring him here. She gave him a bath and even dried him up for us. He certainly was spoiled!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for 13 years. No kids and or animals at home. I love animals and welcome cats and dogs of any size or breed. I live walking distance from a soccer field with a great track for walks. Both of my senior dogs crossed the rainbow bridge recently and before their passing we had a nice routine going. I work nearby and will come home on my breaks to check on the pups and take them out on pee breaks. I have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off, which I normally spend at home or on hikes at local parks. I do not have a fenced in yard. However, I have no issue with pets on the furniture and I have a spare room for crates.

“It is a relief to have someone as trustworthy as Briea is to take care of Coco when I am away. This is my fourth or fifth time using Briea’s services; she has consistently proven herself to be dependable and reliable.”

“Lily did an amazing job taking care of my sweet babies for me. She kept me updated while I was away and sent me pictures. My babies took to her very well and I was able to vacation worry free. I highly recommend her and will definitely book her to watch over my babies again in the future. She did in-house pet sitting for me, and my house was in total order when I got home. She even took the time to play with them and give them outdoor time on the screened in porch. If you are in need of pet sitting for your fur babies, I highly recommend her. She was able to get my sweet boy that can be timid with new people to warm up to her really quickly. I was very impressed with her. Thank you, Lily for taking such excellent care of my sweet babies as they mean the world to me.”

“Chris is a very pleasant young man who immediately befriended my cat, Lucille. To me this is the important thing, that the animal is comfortable with their caregiver. She also looked happy in her pictures,. Chris sent a report every day, listing the things he'd done. He even double-checked the storm door when I told him I couldn't remember it was unlocked so he could drop the key through the mail slot, and brought in a couple of packages that had been delivered on the porch. I would highly recommend Chris for your cat sitting needs.”

“First time using Rover, and I'm so glad a friend recommended it! Tricia has great communication and attention to detail. She asked questions and everything was great when I got back from my trip. My elderly cat was well cared for. I will definitely book Tricia again!”

“Meghan is great! This is the second time she has watched one of my fur babies. She watched my 5 year old pit-Shepard-husky mix right after his TPLO surgery which was amazing since he needed a lot of care and TLC. She dropped in on our 15 year old cat while we were on vacation twice a day for 6 days to feed and give her love. She is very responsive, flexible, reliable and caring. We will definitely use Meghan again. Thanks!”

“Emma was great with my diabetic cat! She communicated well, and voiced her questions/concerns rather than assuming. My cat also loved her, will definitely be asking her to take care of him again.”

And yes—I take pride in the less glamorous jobs, too! You’ll always know what’s going on, thanks to photo and text updates that show your fur-babies are happy, safe, and well cared for.
“This was my second time having Kelly look after my cats, and I will definitely hire her again! She is communicative and accommodating, and also fed my fish while I was away. My more outgoing cat has a great time playing with her. She also went the extra mile by keeping an eye on some mosquito bites my cat had and applying a bit of medicine.”

About: I am custom to all dog types, every pet is treated with peace, love, & care. I have had only big breeds as my own, the only big I see is big baby! Lol I can handle a sour patch 🤍🐾 Pet care is part of my daily routine making time for feeding, fresh water, walks or playtime, and plenty of attention to keep pets happy, healthy, and loved. 🐾 I have extensive experience in pet care, specifically with dogs. Over the years, I have honed my skills in various aspects of dog care, which are crucial for a beginner dog walker to understand. Here are the key areas of my experience: 1. Understanding Dog Behavior: • Recognizing different dog temperaments and behaviors. • Identifying signs of stress, anxiety, and aggression. • Understanding body language and vocalizations. 2. Handling and Walking Dogs: • Using proper leash techniques to ensure control and safety. • Managing multiple dogs at once, keeping them calm and orderly. • Navigating different environments, such as parks, streets, and busy areas. 3. Basic Training and Commands: • Teaching and reinforcing basic commands like sit, stay, come, and heel. • Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior. • Addressing common behavioral issues like pulling on the leash or barking excessively. 4. Health and Safety: • Recognizing common health issues, such as overheating, dehydration, and injuries. • Administering basic first aid and knowing when to seek veterinary care. • Ensuring dogs have access to clean water and are protected from extreme weather conditions. 5. Socialization: • Introducing dogs to new people and other dogs in a controlled manner. • Ensuring positive interactions and preventing conflicts. • Understanding the importance of regular socialization for a dog’s well-being. 6. Exercise and Play: • Providing appropriate levels of exercise based on the dog’s age, breed, and health. • Engaging dogs in stimulating activities to keep them mentally and physically active. • Using toys and games to make walks enjoyable and enriching. 7. Routine Care: • Maintaining a consistent walking schedule to meet the dog’s needs. • Ensuring cleanliness by picking up after the dog and disposing of waste properly. • Monitoring the dog’s overall condition and reporting any concerns to the owner. 8. Communication with Owners: • Providing regular updates on the dog’s behavior, health, and activities. • Listening to and addressing any specific concerns or requests from the owners. • Building trust and a strong relationship with both the dog and the owner. By understanding and applying these principles, I ensure that the dogs in my care are happy, healthy, and well-behaved. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and a genuine love for animals, which I believe are essential qualities for any successful dog walker.
“She was great with our cat! Very attentive, responsive, etc. Our cat was not feeling well before we left but Marcella kept a close look for any strange behavior to notify us, as well as playing with her and keeping her company. We Recommend Marcella!”

“This was my first experience with Rover.com for daycare for my dog, Rudy and it went great. He seemed to do well with Rebecca even with it being a new environment. Rebecca interacted with him very well at the greeting to get his comfort in going with her.”

“Christina was fantastic! She watched my pup while I was in town for work and I can’t express how much I appreciate her! My dog was super happy to see her and her family every day:)”

“Communication from the beginning has been fantastic! I was looking for a daycare weeks before I actually needed it because of a relocation and Rachelle and Christopher answered every question and addressed every concern. I have a challenging dog and she’s only ever been in one daycare in her life. She and her sister had an amazing time during their first visit. Driving from Greensboro is totally worth it!”

“Melany took great care of Maggie, I got multiple picture updates and Melany has been very responsive and flexible for pick up and drop off time. Will have Maggie stay with her again next time I’m in the area.”

About: I started off pet sitting small I had two regular customers. I would watch two cats for one and a dog for another. I have always owned a dog or cat. And would watch close friends and families pets. Then took the leap of faith and start with Rover. I do take same day bookings as long as I'm not full. I do stay busy have a few repeat clients already. I will work with you 100% and communicate 100%. Being reliable is key and communication is key. Daily routine for dogs or cats that are being boarded. Cats will always be in a safe designated area away from dogs if they are boarded. They get fed in the morning and evening normally 8am and 5pm or whatever the client wants. They go potty really early and throughout the day and their last potty break is normally around 10-11pm. They pretty much do whatever and just have a great time playing with other pets and making them feel at home. They are allowed on beds and furniture. You will always get updates daily and pictures. They will go on walks also. Now in home visits is whatever you as the client wants. I leave it up to you. Normally they get spoiled and loved on and go outside fed whatever you need. They also get very spoiled and pampered while being boarded. Safety and cleanliness is my top priority. I slowly and monitor every dogs behavior that is staying just to make sure they all get along. I always feed each dog separately as some are food aggressive. Your dogs bowls get clean after each meal and sent home clean. Floors get sanitized each day and vacuumed. Their dog toys, blankets and dog beds get washed before they leave so they are nice and clean. Dog poop gets picked up out of the yard daily. I do have indoor and outdoor cameras to monitor the dogs if gone.

“Holly was an amazing host. Our 10 month old doodle was well cared for and happy. Holly shared daily updates and was always available whenever I texted. I really appreciate Holly's whole family for taking such great care of Gus.”

“Brittany was absolutely WONDERFUL taking care of our Honeybear!!! She was warm and kind and Honey was so comfortable and loved her as soon as she met her!! She has lots of experience dog sitting, so she has a beautiful, very clean, dog friendly home with all the doggie beds and toys they could ever want! Also a nice big, fenced in back yard so Honey could run and play and do her business whenever needed. She had lots of playtime and snuggles with Honey, took her on walks, sent pics, and gave us updates every single day! We've had some great sitters, but none as phenomenal as Brittany!!! We would absolutely LOVE to have her keep our baby in the future!!! -Heather C.”

“Sarah was so great! This was my first time on Rover and a last minute stay. I know my lab can be a little overwhelming with her energy and my little one is a bit bossy, but Sarah did such a great job! If she will have them back, we will absolutely be returning clients!”

“I had no worries with Shanna, every interaction showed her care for my pet was her first concern. Great communication and pictures while I was away, I truly could not have asked for more.”

“Zoey was great with my Jett! Zoey was friendly and accomodating and treated my Jett like her own. They went on lots of walks and she gave Jett lots of love and attention. She sent me photos on the night of, and the next day, even though it was just an overnight stay. I felt comfortable leaving Jett with her, even though Jett is high energy and very very needy. I will absolutely use Zoey again and soon!”

“She did an amazing job taking care of our Bella girl! She sent lots of pictures! Bella came home smelling clean and seemed happy! Bella enjoyed playing with her sweet molly!”
