About: I have taken care of multiple animals throughout my life, mainly elder neighbors who cannot fully take care of their animals because of scheduling conflicts. I prefer overnight visits and stays just to ensure no schedules are disrupted. I currently attend UVA full-time as a Master's Student, and work Saturday nights at a restaurant in Cville. But I always make time for the animals in my life! I have a fenced-in yard, I walk dogs either for short 15/20 minutes, or a longer (5 miles) depending on a breed's needs and requirements. Otherwise, we can lounge and play with toys together.

About: I have been pet sitting for many years, typically with friends and family. I have been responsible for cats (domestic & feral), dogs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, guinea fowls, fish, bearded dragons, geckos and even a millipede! I have also worked with animals in a professional setting for 14 years and I have some veterinary assistant experience. I’m happy to handle extra tasks such as retrieving mail, watering plants and even some light housekeeping. I work full time (4 days per week) but can provide morning and evening care most days. In a clients home, I follow all instructions given in regard to their pets care. I ensure the pet is comfortable with me before any handling or petting. About: I have always had dogs in my life. My parents chose our first dog, a blue healer, after their honeymoon. I was three. Skeeter and I would tromp through the woods often. We moved to the Middle East when I was 9, and we had to give her to another family, but when we returned, we were contacted by the family: they were moving and wondered if we would like her back. It was a very happy reunion. She passed away when I was 18. In my third year of college, I decided to get a dog of my own. It was a dumb idea because I didn't have the forethought to think about how being a dogowner would limit my housing options over the next 10 years. Baloo was a German shepherd mix. He was a rescue from a Native American reservation in AZ, what we call a "res dog". He and I had several adventures over the decade I could call him mine. He passed away a little over two years ago, and I still miss him now. These days, I am mom to Benedict and Tigerlily. Benny is a sweet old rescue from California. He is likely part pitbull, and part sharpei. He's a sweetheart, super chill with my kids, and loves to walk the trails behind my house. Tigerlily Is a baby baby. The two of them are inseparable. I work from home and have my kids 3-5 nights / week. We love all the dogs and love to take them on walks through the woods and to the park. I provide a chill space where dogs feel like they can relax and trust that someone will come along soon to scritch their ears. I have a great neighborhood for walking and a large unfenced backyard.

About: Hi there! My name is Gillian, and I have been taking care of a variety of animals all my life. I've owned dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens, and roosters! I love all animals and have an extraordinary talent communicating with them. I have been a dog and cat groomer, and a horse trainer. I am a trainer at heart! I will make sure your furry friend has everything they need, all the exercise and love they could ask for. I exercise my own dogs for a minimum of two hours a day. I’m pretty low-key by nature, so I don’t rush through visits or watch the clock. If your dog wants to sniff every blade of grass, we’ll sniff. If your cat would rather sit quietly while I read a book than play, that’s okay too. I believe every animal has its own personality, and I try to meet them where they are instead of expecting them to fit into my routine. My goal is simple: when you come home, your pet has been well cared for, and you don’t have to wonder if they were just another stop on someone’s schedule. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I try to keep life as normal as possible. I stick closely to the routine you’ve already established because consistency helps pets feel secure. Meals happen when they’re used to eating, walks happen on their schedule, and medications are given exactly as instructed. I don’t believe every dog needs the same approach. Some want to play nonstop, some just want to sniff every inch of the yard, and some are happiest curled up beside you. I pay attention to what each pet is telling me and let them settle in at their own pace. I also know how reassuring updates can be when you’re away. About: I adopted my first dog, Ollie, when I was 18 years old. Shortly after I discovered he was suffering from kidney failure and epilepsy. This resulted in frequent vet visits and daily medications, and I'm comfortable administering medication to your pets. Now, I have three cats that I've had for almost five years, living their best lives. I love my pets and I'm looking forward to giving your best friends the same level of love and care. I work full-time. I'm available after 2pm on most days - I try to keep my availability on my profile accurate but due to the nature of my job I may have more or less availability than what is listed. About: when you choose me as your pet sitter, you have nothing to worry about. I care for all pets as if they're my own. I live in an apartment and I'm currently only available to do boarding with one dogs but will consider two if they are bonded pair. before any boarding or housesitting services confirmed, I require we meet in person to ensure all the details are understood and that your dogs are OK with my dog. I have a 30 pound beagle mix named Daisy who is three years old and she will be with me at all times. I am always available for drop in visits and dog walking. prices fluctuate due to various factors but the main ones these days are gas prices and distance of travel. I.e The farther away you are the more likely there is that a added fee will occur before confirmation of service. I provide pet care in services full-time as of November 2021. I am available at any time if you need me. i'm currently available for the following services: housesitting, pet boarding, drop in visit, dog walking for 30 minutes or 60 minutes, and one on one dog training. if your dog is with me, I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly. We have two dog parks and I am often at these dog parks at least once a day. However if you have a dog that is not comfortable with that I would not take them there. I would focus on other activities that are more suited to your pet. I also take a lot of pictures and I am constantly in contact with you so you don't have to worry where or what we're doing.
