“Tori is incredible! This is the second time we’ve used her and we’re ecstatic to have found a wonderful pet sitter. She sent detailed updates and photos every single visit! 2 days it was storming and she made extra late night visits to check on everyone. My shy kitty warmed up to her really quickly too. She’s the best!”

“Kelly is the perfect sitter for your fur babies. She always kept us updated and responded super fast. She gave a lot of attention, and love to our fur babies Athena and Loki. All her pictures with updates were perfect!!! 10/10 will book again. 😇”

“Karen has been a real lifesaver! She has helped out on several occasions (with very short notice) to check on my two dogs and cat. I really appreciate her and my beasts look forward to seeing her again soon!!”

“Alex, It was so nice to know someone who like’s to spend time with dogs was checking on ours. I am hoping you are interested in helping us out again. I don’t know the dates yet but will be for a weekend in Oct. I will get back to you. I am also trying to figure out how to send you a tip. I am not so good at this tech stuff. Thanks again, Tina”

“Hayleigh came out to meet our dogs before a house sitting booking and spent time becoming familiar with them and their routines. Hayleigh has a calming presence and I know our dogs will enjoy their time together.”

“Alexandra dropped in to check on my 2 kittens. She was very responsive and available for a meet and greet on short notice. I will definitely be using her services in the future!”

“So glad we found Nazeeya! She was professional and thorough from start to finish. She was intuitive to our pet’s needs and communicated any irregularities she saw that may be cause for concern. She followed their care plan precisely and bonded quickly with our boy Wolfy. She went above and beyond to see that their needs were met and even brought in a huge house-plant package that was delivered while we were away. She did an excellent job and will definitely book with her the next time we travel.”

“Melissa was amazing doing a drop-in visit for our four doggies while we were out all day! We have one dog who is pretty shy as she was feral, and I loved seeing a photo where she actually was by Melissa! Shows us Melissa has great vibes and energy, and when the dogs approve, so do us humans! Thank you so much Melissa!!💜”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 8 years, and it’s something I genuinely love. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs, so I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications, and paying close attention to any changes in behavior or comfort. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets, and I always treat every dog like they’re my own. I prioritize keeping their routine consistent so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I also have volunteered in the past with being a temporary foster for shelter/rescue dogs. I also have volunteered with driving dogs in rescues to their medical appointments. I’m reliable, communicative, and respectful of your home and your pet’s needs. Whether your dog needs a long walk, extra attention, or more specialized care, I’m here to help. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your dog the time, attention, and consistency they need. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week, with more open availability in the afternoons and evenings. I do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine and can provide reliable, timely care you can count on. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and any specific needs including medical care or medications. I follow instructions closely and keep a watchful eye on behavior to ensure your dog feels secure and well cared for. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and maintain a calm, clean environment. On walks, I stay attentive, avoid unsafe situations, and ensure your dog is always secure. I’m also happy to provide updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.
“Kiley was absolutely wonderful to my sweet pup. She provided play time and a potty break in the middle of the day when I was at work. And even managed to befriend my cat who hides from everyone. Her time and attention given to my pup was greatly appreciated by both the humans and the dog who was much happier being at home than at doggy daycare.”

About: I have taken care of neighbors, friends, and family’s pets! I have worked in a boarding facility for 1 year and absolutely love all furry friends! I’m currently working part time, so I have extensive availability to play with your pups! I do have trips but I am generally always in the area! I love to run around and play with any furry friends and am willing to do any tasks you need to make sure they are happy!
About: I have a lifetime of experience with animals starting from my first day as an infant. I grew up with multiple cats in the home with learned, gentle-respect and patience that cats require. I also grew up with a shetland sheepdog, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. As an adult I have significant experience with caring for dogs and cats alike both in my home and in other homes. My own animals, two dogs, a cat, and a 70 gallon fish tank, remind me daily of the joys and importance of animals. I have an anxious 74 pound hound and a nervous 30 pound beagle of my own, so I understand the needs of special breeds and animals coming from previously difficult situations. I have the patience needed to address nervous dogs and have experience with clicker training and am educated in techniques for dog training. I do not breed discriminate. I have fostered kittens and adult cats and have experience with syringe feeding and medicine administration. I also have my own rascally kitten, Hazel, who keeps me entertained. In my experience with fish and aquariums I can clean, feed, and help with tank design or water cycling conditions. Note: I am selective about in home care due to a cat being in the home - this is for the safety of my own animals. Thanks. Your pets will be the utmost priority and I can adjust my schedule to meet your needs. I can assure timely feedings, walks, and potty breaks so your pet is comfortable and you are assured! I will treat them as my own. Our daily routine is FULL of pet fun and enjoyment. First thing in the morning is a walk and potty breaks, followed by feeding, the rest of the day would follow similarly with 4/5 mini walks and dinner at ideal time. Potty before bed time and no pet will be left alone for more than 3 hours and if preferred never at all.
“Christin came through for us again for another last minute request- this time for weekend drop-ins. Her service was stellar- again, no problem giving pills to Neo, and completely understanding of our special requests and needs. Her care was a great comfort- we can’t recommend her enough!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
