About: Puppy sitting for my perfect nephew (Rocky) for the last five years in San Diego inspired me to help others in Richmond now that I call it my home. In college I fostered kittens that were too young to be adopted to help build socialization skills with people. I grew up always having both a dog and cat in the home and can’t wait to rescue someone of my own here soon 😊. I live and work in the Willow Lawn area and love to get out for many walks. I live an active life and love the outdoors. I am happily available for boarding, daycare or walks but currently prefer weekends over weekdays as I work from an office down the road from home. Advance notice to schedule boarding is greatly appreciated to plan ahead with my schedule. It is just me at home with a fenced in spacious backyard and quiet street full of neighborhood fur friends to meet along our walks!

About: Hi, I’m Leah – your pups new favorite person! As someone who has previously owned/inherited 3 dogs, I know how hard it is to leave your best friend with anyone that’s not you. That’s why I don’t take this responsibility lightly—your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort come first! I grew up with dogs and have spent my life around wagging tails and unconditional love. Whether your pup loves long walks FULL of sniffs, tug-of-war, or just cuddles on cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel loved and at home. I’ve also cared for reactive dogs in the past—including my own—so I really understand how important it is to create a calm, safe space where they can feel secure. I know every pup is different, and I always lead with patience, empathy, and lots of love. I have a spacious apartment that’s is very pet friendly. I live near many walking paths, trails and parks and love being outside, so your pet can get lots of exercise.

Matt runs a very professional operation! He’s thought of everything with the yard space, inside gates and AirTags for guests. Ginger had a fabulous time playing with his dog and the other boarders. She was in a great mood when I picked her up and was worn out from a day of play. She even put herself to bed early that night in her kennel!
Reese's stay was amazing with Nicholas and his pup! Our girl is high energy and came home tired and happy. We got pictures of her having her best day both outside playing and inside napping, which we appreciated on this hot summer day. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you!
