About: Since childhood, I have enjoyed the companionship of dogs. The first family pet I knew for nearly its entire lifetime was our rescue beagle my family adopted when I was about 8 years old. I have pet sat in the past, both overnight/in-home sitting, in addition to drop in visits to feed and let dogs outside for potty time. I have experience caring for senior pets, adults and puppies. I am available to care for your pets during weekday late mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and for overnight stays with your pet(s) as well. I am comfortable crating dogs if necessary and I have some experience caring for dogs with special needs, more specifically senior dogs that have mobility challenges.

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: I'm not certified to train animals, but I'm happy to continue working on any training already in progress, and I'm able and capable to give meds as needed. I am done with school and I work part time so my schedule is flexible and allows me to take care of your animals when needed. I help give my own dog her required nightly meds. Previously, I've house sat with animals and let them out to go to the bathroom as needed and fed them as instructed.

About: I've had dog companions/besties since I learned to walk. They taught me how to love unconditionally, and it made animal care and advocacy my calling. I was studying veterinary medicine before I moved to Topeka, and recently I decided to take animal care back up. I also volunteer at the humane society, so I can spread that passion as wide as this community lets me. I dream of tails wagging and goofy tongues out as far as the eye can see! This is my number 2 priority after my own pack of critters. I intentionally schedule in plenty of time so yours are taken care of and tongue-out-happy! When she actually came to walk Lumi she brought her doggy too which made my puppy feel a lot better. Nadia sent pictures, updates, and any information that would make me feel like Lumi was safe and had a great time. She also helped Lumi learn new tips during his walk. You can tell Nadia has experience with dogs of many ages. About: A dog has always been in my house growing up, except when I moved to lawrence to go to school/work. I learned to take care of dogs since I could walk. My first dog was a German Shepard. I learned how to brush, clean, feed, and exercise around 6 years old and have loved dogs ever since. From middle school until now I had a side gig of watching extended family/ friends dogs for the weekends, so I have worked with all types of dogs such as pit bulls, labs, Rottweilers, shorthairs, boxers, huskies, and I also have experience with small dog breeds such as pugs, terrors, mini poodles, and chihuahuas. So don’t worry about what breed of dog you have I am open to all kinds!

About: I've been blessed to help care for pets of all kinds since I was little moving around and many relatives work in pet care so I've learned there is no animal too difficult. From energetic to needy, I am excited for the opportunity to share some love. August 18th I begin my senior semester at Washburn majoring in political science as well as be on the Debate team. I volunteer at the Topeka Rescue Mission and Loud Light's community action team in my free time. I can ensure availability on Tuesday, Thur-Sun, but it never hurts to reach out for help on Wed and Mon because I can often make it work. With my experience in house sitting I have never had a negative encounter. Not only have my clients been incredibly kind, they have also been very helpful and communicated perfectly what I need to do to care best. I am a very tidy individual but my best quality that my compassion is boundless. I am happy to take on any responsibility while an individual's pet is under my care.

About: I have taken care of all types of animals since I was young. I’ve worked with dogs, cats and farm animals. Nothing will surprise me!! I work as an athletic trainer at a high school. I don’t go into work until 1:30 or 2 pm everyday so why not spend my mornings with your lovely pets! I will take your dog for walks/runs and play with them to get all that energy out. If they are good they will be rewarded with treats (if you prefer them to not have treats then they can be showered with love). If it’s a drop in visit then I will take them to the bathroom and feed them if necessary.

I have 3 dogs who are seniors. One of my dogs requires medication, so I’m comfortable with giving meds. I love to exercise, so my large dog gets walked often. I’m comfortable with going on long walks any time of the day.
