“Brandin and Diana were really easy to work with and flexible when our schedule changed a bit. Our pup, Phoebe, seemed happy when we picked her up and you could tell she even bonded with their daughter! We’ll be using them again for boarding!”

“Jennifer took good care of our little Alden. Had great communication and asked questions about any conditions she should be aware of. 100% comfortable leaving him in her hands.”

“The dogs love Steve. When we pull up in his driveway, they can’t wait to run to the door. And, promptly jump onto the couch in his living room. Thanks, we appreciate how kind you are to the dogs.”
“We could not have been more pleased with the care Rue received from Mike and Jenn. She can occasionally be a nervous or aggressive dog, but she seemed to enjoy her stay with them.”

“Nadia is a gem! She took the time to ask questions so she would be knowledgeable about Rocky and his habits. She sent pics and videos during his stay, which we enjoyed. We definitely appreciated Nadia and dog caring ways.”

“We can’t recommend Colter enough! He took wonderful care of our Corgi Saffron for two stays recently. One overnight and one 6 night stay. He communicates promptly and his home has been very clean each time we’ve been there. Saffron had never been anywhere overnight and she was excited to see him when we took her the second time and we’ve already booked another stay with him. His dog Rumi is very calm and sweet.”

“Maisy was wonderful! From setting up a meet and greet to being so helpful throughout the stay. She sent pictures to keep us updated. The rates were reasonable and worth it. Will definitely book again in the future!”

“Kathi was a pro at dealing with our little Charlie. I could tell that he bonded with her based on his body language. Thank you Kathi, for taking the worry out of this doggie mama.”

“Petra did an amazing job watching my two boys and it made our trip better knowing they were in good hands. Seeing the daily photos from the walks and cuddles made us very happy. The boys were both super happy at pickup and I could tell they both had a lot of fun. We will definitely be returning for future trips.”

“This is my third time booking with Valentine! She does a great job ensuring the comfortability of my cat! My cat is usually shy but is always quick to warm up to Valentine. Valentine does also does a great job communicating and keeping you updated!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs received while we were away! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Our two dogs were treated like family, and it was clear they were loved and well looked after. They had plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles, which we could tell by their happy and relaxed demeanor when we returned. It was such a relief to know they were being cared for with so much attention and affection. Highly recommend Daniel & Carolyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog-sitter!”

“Amanda was great at communicating before and during our pup's stay. Our girl was definitely well taken care of and had a lot of fun! We will look forward to having her with Amanda again in the future!”

“Tamber is amazing. I have left my dog with her twice now and she is not only super responsive, but was flexible with me when my travel plans changed. Never once had to worry about my dogs care plans with Tamber. HIGHLY recommend for your fur babies.”

“Cheryl took such great care of Henry and Ruby! I got daily updates on what they were doing and pictures of them. I could tell they felt at home and were well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Cheryl to take care of your pups.”

“Justine was perfect. She wrote us daily texts and sent pictures of the 4 kitties every single day. They clearly bonded with them. She took care of picking up our mail for us and opened and lowered the blinds every day. She feed them and played with them. She even saved on of our kitties who got stuck in a gluey ant trap! She was affectionate, clever and resourceful. We could not have found anyone better. She made our vacation in London! We missed our 4 kitties so much and would not have been able to enjoy ourselves at all except we knew she would take excellent care of them!!!”

“Amazing experience, will definitely use again! Quick response when booking and able to arrange same day visit. Very flexible and feels comfortable giving pet medication which is quite helpful.”

“Kelly is just wonderful to have come to your home to care for your pets while you’re away. She was so kind and caring to our 2 cats. Not only would she feed them and care for them, but would sit and interact to get to know each one. She played with them with their favorite toys and even brought her own to give something new to engage with them. We could feel that she was giving them love they were missing while we were away. She gave us wonderful updates daily with photos which eased any worry we may have had. We feel like Kelly is a new family friend to us all. 😃 We will definitely use Kelly again.”

“Emily took amazing care of our darling, and needy ;) cat Nikka. She went above and beyond to make sure Nikka had the necessities each day and that included serious and extended cuddles. This was our first time using Rover and I’m so glad that Emily took such great care of our girl. We highly recommend.”

“Great to work with! Easy to communicate with, flexible and quick to respond. She was able to mix my pets pain medication capsule into purée and get him to eat it during the time I was gone. Nice to know he is being well taken care of while I am away.”

“Nadia continues to give amazing care to my cats! She always makes sure to get the latest updates on how they are doing and how well they take their medicine. If your pets have certain needs, know that Nadia will make sure to fully understand them, respect them and see that they are carried out.”

About: Since childhood, I have enjoyed the companionship of dogs. The first family pet I knew for nearly its entire lifetime was our rescue beagle my family adopted when I was about 8 years old. I have pet sat in the past, both overnight/in-home sitting, in addition to drop in visits to feed and let dogs outside for potty time. I have experience caring for senior pets, adults and puppies. I am available to care for your pets during weekday late mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and for overnight stays with your pet(s) as well. I am comfortable crating dogs if necessary and I have some experience caring for dogs with special needs, more specifically senior dogs that have mobility challenges.

“Kelby was wonderful with my two cats and my two rats, one of my cats is very shy and I thought she would never appear to kelby, however I did receive several pictures of her! My flight home was delayed (so it was arriving in KC at 1:30am) and I feared it would be cancelled, I messaged Kelby and asked if she would be able to stop by the next morning if I had to delay my return. Thankfully i did not need her to come by again, but I was super appreciative she was willing to if I'd needed it”

About: Hi, I'm Cassie! I grew up with cats, but became a dog person the day I unexpectedly met my pup Rebel 12 years ago! I wasn't planning on getting a dog that day, but I fell in love the moment I saw him, and the rest is history! Our girl, Kimmy (10), joined us in 2020 when a friend needed to rehome her. She's a social butterfly. They love making new friends, so we'd love to host your little one(s), and welcome them into our home. We have a fully-fenced back yard to run and play in. Dogs are allowed on the furniture here, but I'm happy to follow any rules you may have for your dogs if you prefer they not get on furniture. I currently work full-time outside of the house, but can come home over lunch to offer potty breaks if needed. When dog sitting, I try to limit my nighttime plans, so I'll have lots of time to play with your pup(s) after work! Your dog will be safe at my house. I have a 6ft privacy fence around most of the backyard, and a 4ft picket fence along one edge. I never leave the dogs unattended in the yard. I have a large dog crate if needed.
About: I come from a farm happy family and managed a doggy daycare, with extensive work in animal rescue. I have dealt with just about any animal you can imagine. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, birds, etc. Both of my pets have passed away but I have more love to give. I love animals and am just looking to fill some of my free time and earn a little extra cash. My lab has since passed due to old age in 2019 and I said goodbye to my golden in July 2025. I do work M-F and would be out of the home from roughly 7:15-5:00pm depending on your location, my office is near the state capitol. I work full time for a nonprofit in Topeka, so I am out of the house from 715am-5pm. I love going on walks and being outside before and after work! On the weekends aside from some errands I would be around. I do have the ability to work remotely as needed, so this is an option if your pet(s) need more time and attention. I take animal safety very seriously, especially after managing a doggy daycare, things can be unpredictable. I take extreme caution, and pay attention to all the signs your pet is giving me along with your requests to ensure they have a fun, safe time while in my care.

I have years of experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and abilities—including those who are deaf, blind, or even tripod. Providing them with compassionate, individualized care is always my top priority.

“Hi guys. I feel like you all did a great job. You took O' Malley for 10 days and let him do his thing and be comfortable in his own way. Thank you! The only thing I would have liked more of is communication. Both times I had to reach out to you for check ins. Good luck with your pet sitting!!!”
About: I am married and have two daughters and a son. They are 12, 8, and 5. I have a wonderful German Shepherd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and a 20 pound cat named Karen. We love caring for other animals. We have a big yard so there’s plenty of room to run.! I can come to your home or board in ours. We are very active individuals. Both my husband and I are runners. Just let me know if you have anymore questions and I would be more than willing to answer them! We are very flexible with our schedules. My husband works full-time, but I drive for Uber so I can make my own schedule when needed. We try to stay as active as possible and play with pets in the home. We have a German shepherd that loves the extra play time!

“So far, our baby girl has been having a great experience with Brandin. He updates us on her pee and poo breaks, as well as feeding. He sends pictures of her, including if I ask. I respect his structure and knowledge in dog behavior, resulting in us learning a few new things we didn't know previously. Overall, I highly recommend Brandin! We're returning twice weekly. Book with him!”

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our first time using their service, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We reached out at the last minute while moving into our new place, and they were kind enough to make themselves available when we really needed the help. She, her husband, and their daughter were all extremely kind and welcoming. They took wonderful care of our dog and sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay, which really gave us peace of mind during a very busy moving day. You could tell from the updates and photos that they genuinely cared about our dog and treated him like part of their family. We are extremely thankful for how accommodating and caring they were, especially on such short notice. We will definitely be using them again in the future! I would highly recommend their services to anyone in the Topeka, Kansas area looking for someone dependable, caring, and trustworthy to take care of their dog. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“What a wonderful idea to have your dog vacationing at Kelsey’s home while visiting Topeka area! Dyson had a wonderful time and is now tired at our campsite. He had two dog girlfriends to run around the fenced yard with and access to the comfort of the house when it was time to chill. Thank you Kelsey and family!”

About: I have done drop in visits, farm sitting, dog grooming, equine care, and taken care of many animals. I have at least 10 references. Love all the animals and will treat them with love and respect. I own a mobile dog grooming business so can make my own schedule. I have my farm animals but I have help from family to care for mine when I’m needed elsewhere. I prefer to let the animals be in their own home as they seem less stressed knowing they will be where there family will be coming back to. They have their comfortable spots and smells and doesn’t disrupt their routine but if necessary I could care for them at my home. Would walk smaller dogs on leash outside or have outdoor pens for larger dogs to get to run.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for years. Experienced with puppies, seniors, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and providing safe, reliable, loving care for all pets. As a college student-athlete , I have a flexible schedule. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, allowing consistent care, walks, feeding, and quality attention. I follow all care instructions carefully, keep pets supervised, secure doors and leashes, maintain clean spaces, and provide updates so owners feel confident and trusted.
“We had never had a puppy sitter before, and Daniel was the best first experience we could have hoped for! We needed a last minute sitter for the super bowl, and Daniel was incredibly helpful. His home was clean, he has a number of dog-friendly toys for your pup to play with, and he sent the CUTEST photos of the puppy while we were out and about. He has a wealth of knowledge about dogs, and our puppy was comfortable immediately in his space. We'll definitely be reaching out to Daniel for any of our puppy daycare needs :)”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, took care of them and have a great passion for animals. I’ve had my own pets since 2007 (2 cats and a dog). Since 2020 I have fostered animals for a local shelter including dogs, puppies as young as 6 months, and kittens as young as 5 weeks. I have basic experience in dog training. I’m currently working on a part-time contract basis so my schedule is very flexible and I would love to help you care for your pet(s). I am available daily with a set schedule to accommodate your needs. I am an experienced foster of dogs and kittens. I have a dedicated space (spare bedroom) to keep any animals separate from mine, but if they are dog and cat friendly they could be free roaming in the house when I am home. I have a cable for supervised potty time in the yard. I am experienced with crate training. I am clean and professional, respecting your space and routines in your home.

“Madison did so well with our energetic 6 month old GSD mix! He can be energetic and she went above and beyond to get him the playtime and exercise he needed. This included walks and playing fetch outside, among other things. He came home a very happy pup!”

About: I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. I treat every animal like a family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. My home, farm in the woods, is a dog paradise where they can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.

“Steve is so very sweet. Juniper is a big puppy with lots of energy and emotions. Tbh, an exhausting toddler. He has so much love to give he just explodes. Until he collapses into sweet dreaming mode😂 Steve has been so patient and understanding of family circumstances and has been so supportive. Even reinforcing training and exposure on the daily to keep Junie the bestest boy ever. I’m grateful for Steve.”

About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. I prioritize respect for your space and routines. Whether your pet prefers potty breaks in a fenced yard or leashed walks, I’ll follow your preferences to keep them comfortable and safe.

For my in home services, I have a yard that is set up with individual fenced areas, as well as having 4.5 acres that will soon be fully fenced in! For those bigger dogs who want to be able to run and stretch their legs more.I have two of my own dogs as well, as company for those who would enjoy a playmate. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions-we will respond promptly. I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.
About: Taking care of your pets is my top priority and making sure you get back to a happy dog. I’ve dog sat and cat sat for neighbors, family friends and friends of my own. I always have a lot of energy and I enjoy being around dogs and playing with them and walking them. I’m always making sure I’m on top of things to make sure everything that needs to be done is done and all the requirements are fulfilled. Pets always do a good job at comforting and making us happy, so I want to make sure I do the same and give back to them. I’ll treat your furry friends as they were my own with love and care and a lot of playtime. I also do house keeping and anything else you need help with around the house or errands.

“Montana was great! Always came when scheduled, took nice long walks and was sure to communicate after every visit. I loved the daily report card and photos. I'll absolutely book again!”

“Nadia was absolutely amazing. She was patient with me while booking as I had some questions. She did not hesitate to video chat and help reassure me everything would be fine with my concerns. When she actually came to walk Lumi she brought her doggy too which made my puppy feel a lot better. Nadia sent pictures, updates, and any information that would make me feel like Lumi was safe and had a great time. She also helped Lumi learn new tips during his walk. You can tell Nadia has experience with dogs of many ages. I’ll definitely be using Nadia again in the future when I need help and if you’re reading this you should not hesitate to book her for your doggy needs!”

About: Hello! Fun Fact: If given the choice, I’d probably spend time with animals over people. 😊 I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and caring for them is something I genuinely love. As a pet owner myself, I know every pet has their own personality and routine and I treat each one like family. I’m experienced in administering medications, including injections and diabetic care, and I’ve completed obedience training with my own dog, so I’m happy to reinforce good habits using positive encouragement. Since I own my own business, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to work around your pet’s routine. Whether they need playtime, walks, cuddles, or a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Structure and consistency are important! And because of that I strive to stick to your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. Whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, administering medications, or simply providing companionship, I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs. I also respect your home, keep everything clean and secure, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

“Amelia & Matthew quickly responded to our request for dog sitting within a few days before our unexpected trip out of town. The greet & meet was helpful, since we haven’t used this service in years. We were getting fun updates, videos & pictures of Bailey! Definitly makes it easier to leave our sweet girl, knowing she’s having fun! Excited to have a great option for dog sitting in Lawrence! Thanks again! ?”
