About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time caring for them. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, administering medication, and giving pets plenty of love and attention . I’m dependable, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality. I do have a full time job. I work from 7am-3pm Tuesday-Saturday and off Sundays and Mondays. My wife works from home so there will always be someone here to take care of any pet needs. I have a cozy three bedroom house with a fenced in back yard. Plenty of room for them to run around and play. I love to go on walks and enjoy the outdoors. If they have any favorite spots to go or favorite toys to play with we'll play. Or any special instructions just let me know. I only take one client at a time, if you have more than one pet that's perfectly fine. I also send text updates pictures and video's of your pets care while your away.

About: I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals. I’ve hosted many types of foster animals from the Lawrence Humane society. I am comfortable with caring for all types of animals! I work full time as a police officer. However when I am working my boyfriend is home to take care of any animals we are hosting. I am available for walks anytime Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. I can walk pets in the evenings every other day of the week. I have a fenced yard and have two crate trained, pet friendly dogs. I’ve fostered for years for the animal shelter so my dogs are familiar with new animals being in the home. When your pets are let out in the yard they will be monitored! About: I come from a farm happy family and managed a doggy daycare, with extensive work in animal rescue. I have dealt with just about any animal you can imagine. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, birds, etc. Both of my pets have passed away but I have more love to give. I love animals and am just looking to fill some of my free time and earn a little extra cash. My lab has since passed due to old age in 2019 and I said goodbye to my golden in July 2025. I do work M-F and would be out of the home from roughly 7:15-5:00pm depending on your location, my office is near the state capitol. I work full time for a nonprofit in Topeka, so I am out of the house from 715am-5pm. I love going on walks and being outside before and after work! On the weekends aside from some errands I would be around. I do have the ability to work remotely as needed, so this is an option if your pet(s) need more time and attention. I take animal safety very seriously, especially after managing a doggy daycare, things can be unpredictable. I take extreme caution, and pay attention to all the signs your pet is giving me along with your requests to ensure they have a fun, safe time while in my care.

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

Whichever you choose, please know that your pet will be given the best care and so much love! I find that pets are generally more comfortable in their own space. I am happy to visit yours! My schedule is quite flexible and I am open to long-term set schedules or the occasional drop-in. I try my best to keep my calendar updated. I currently do not offer boarding services, however, you can be sure that both your home and your beloved pet will be safe with me.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs and one cat of my own, so I’ve always been around animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I get to work with all kinds of dogs. I help with playgroups, feeding, medications, and making sure everyone is safe and doing well. I’m also comfortable with cats, including cats that are a little shy or like to keep to themselves. I recently graduated high school and just started at JCCC. I’m taking my prerequisites there and hopefully will eventually transfer to K-State and continue working toward my goal of becoming a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 and helps me with pet sitting. He loves animals too and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from a puppy and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to let everyone know that Cameron may come with me for visits or overnight stays. We both really enjoy being around animals and will take great care of your pets while you’re away! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. So I am able to check your pets every 4-5 hours. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs !! When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own! I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time caring for them. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, administering medication, and giving pets plenty of love and attention . I’m dependable, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality. I do have a full time job. I work from 7am-3pm Tuesday-Saturday and off Sundays and Mondays. My wife works from home so there will always be someone here to take care of any pet needs. I have a cozy three bedroom house with a fenced in back yard. Plenty of room for them to run around and play. I love to go on walks and enjoy the outdoors. If they have any favorite spots to go or favorite toys to play with we'll play. Or any special instructions just let me know. I only take one client at a time, if you have more than one pet that's perfectly fine. I also send text updates pictures and video's of your pets care while your away.

About: I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals. I’ve hosted many types of foster animals from the Lawrence Humane society. I am comfortable with caring for all types of animals! I work full time as a police officer. However when I am working my boyfriend is home to take care of any animals we are hosting. I am available for walks anytime Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. I can walk pets in the evenings every other day of the week. I have a fenced yard and have two crate trained, pet friendly dogs. I’ve fostered for years for the animal shelter so my dogs are familiar with new animals being in the home. When your pets are let out in the yard they will be monitored! I can and will send updates as requested!
