“Came home to a very happy kitty! 😊”

“Emma has been a great find for us! She gave our big mastiff lots of time to get used to her, and even did a meet and greet and trial visits to get our dog extra comfortable. We're so glad to add her to Holly's short list of people she is comfortable with, and will definitely book again!”

“Wendy W. did a wonderful job taking excellent care of my cat! She kept me informed daily and even did some additional services for me like watering my poinsettias when needed. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve cared for various pets in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, and I’m excited to meet friends in the Pacific Northwest! Past clients include German Shepard puppies and 12 year old terriers! I’ve been training my dog to perform as a service dog for six months. I work full-time but work remotely Thursday and Friday and have weekends off. I take my dog on a walk twice a day, three times during remote work. I also enjoy taking her to dog parks and hiking on the weekends. I have a very calm working dog who has both the energy play with your pup and help role model good behavior. As a resident of Witham Hill Oaks, I have access to great, dog-friendly walkable neighborhood and to a nearby dog park.

About: I have a 1.5 year old golden retriever and a 5 year old tabby cat! I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up! So I’m used to high energy dogs! I am currently working part-time and I start school part time this summer but I will definitely make sure my availability is updated every week! I will care for your animals like they are my own! Love, attention and lots of play time! I love walking my dog on trails.

About: I grew up on a small farm and I’m familiar with taking care of a wide variety of animals! I started house sitting for others around 11 or 12 years old. No matter how specific the instructions, I aim to provide the best care possible. Currently for the remainder of summer my schedule is quite open and dedicated to house sitting/pet care. I am a college student in my last year so my availability will adjust in a couple months. I will always keep a watchful eye out for the safety and comfort of your pet. More than following care instructions I have basic first aid care knowledge in cases of emergency. Your pets care is my number one priority always.

About: I love being around animals and always playing with them ever since I was a kid. I give them all the attention they will ever need. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their own pets in the past and had no complaints, only thankfulness. I'm currently taking online college courses but they are only Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8:20 pm. Otherwise my schedule is completely flexible to take care of anything needed. I have a fenced yard where my dog likes to run around in and play fetch. I love taking her for long walks around the neighborhood where it's a quiet and safe environment.

About: I have had pets, including dogs, cats, and rats, since I was 3 years old. I am a wildlife biologist by training, so I have experience caring for all sorts of animals. I have experience taking care of both my own and others' senior pets. I also have an adorable kitty of my own. I am available most evenings and weekends to take care of your pets. I am working a flexible hybrid in-office/telework schedule, so I have flexibility to care for your pets during the work day. I am happy to take care of your fur baby in your own home. I have my own transportation to get to your home, and in the very rare case of emergency to transport your pet to a vet. I interact with animals in a very calm manner as they get to know me.

“So helpful and communicative!”

“Emily was great. My cat can be timid and take awhile to warm up to strangers and Emily was extremely patient with her and ended up getting her to come out to play. We came home to a happy, healthy cat. She kept me updated and was very easy to keep in contact with. Will definitely use her again and would recommend!”

About: Hello! My name is Dani, and I’ve had a deep love and compassion for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm where I helped care for dogs, cats, horses, sheep, and more—experiences that gave me a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine heart for animals. For a long time, I even thought I’d become a veterinarian because of how naturally I connected with animals and how much I enjoyed caring for them. I’ve raised two Labrador puppies on my own, so I’m very familiar with the patience, structure, and energy it takes to raise and train young dogs. I also regularly help care for my sister’s kittens and feel confident working with pets of all ages and personalities. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime or a calm, comforting presence, I provide loving, reliable care tailored to their individual needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own and always strive to create a safe, happy experience for both pets and their people. Right now, I’m taking online summer classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time at home. I’ve been feeling a bit lonely lately, and spending time with animals would not only bring me joy and companionship but also give me a great reason to get out for more walks. I’d love to include pet care in my daily routine—not just as something I can do, but something that genuinely adds purpose, energy, and happiness to my day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always to create a calm, safe, and loving environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs—whether that means giving them space to warm up at their own pace or providing extra playtime and affection. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routines to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure to follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, litter box care, and any special needs or quirks. In my own home, I maintain a clean, quiet space with lots of cozy spots and room to play, making sure pets have a stress-free experience while they’re with me. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, respect, and lots of love.

“Scott was incredibly communicative and professional. This was exactly what I needed for my first time leaving my cat alone during an extended trip. He was so sweet and attentive, even offering to check in extra during the holiday fireworks in case they caused any stress. Not only did he spend quality time with my cat, but he also made sure his favorite toys were always accessible (even rescuing them from under the fridge!). I felt completely at ease knowing my kitty was in such caring hands.”

“Imani is amazing! I recently moved from Portland to Vancouver and have 2 diabetic dogs so they have to be on a regular feeding schedule and require insulin. It is difficult finding someone who is experienced giving injections and who my dogs like. During our meet and greet my dogs loved her and I felt comfortable having her give them their shot. On the Drop in she was great, sent pictures and when I got home they were happy and their blood sugar was great.”

About: I love working with dogs and taking them out on walks. I love training dogs (walking on leash, no pulling/sit/stay, no darting when door opens). I'm pretty flexible. My current work schedule allows me to be off by 3pm-4pm on most week days and I'm free every weekend. Just let me know if you have any questions. I have a fully fenced back yard and a friendly Silver Lab. I have extra crates, dog cots/elevated dog beds, treats and food if needed. Side note, I also have a Flemish Giant rabbit (Pistachio), he loves dogs but has his own room for his private space.

“Friendly and punctual! She did great with my dogs and provided great pictures!”

“Christine has watched our 11 month old mini bernedoodle a few times this past summer (this review is so overdue!) and she is EXCEPTIONAL. She is seriously in a league of her own. Our puppy loves her and I always feel completely comfortable and relaxed when he is in her care. Christine’s love of animals and her strong aptitude as a dog sitter was so apparent from the first time we met her. Since then, I’m always amazed at how happy and relaxed our puppy is after spending time with Christine. She takes the time to do new and fun activities with our puppy (always with our permission of course) and I always appreciate the amount of quality time she spends with him. She is incredibly communicative and thorough, providing consistent and well timed updates throughout her stay. I literally never have to check in with Christine because she always beats me to it! In addition to providing the best care for our dog, she is always a meticulous house guest and leaves our home cleaner than when she arrived! Christine is just wonderful and we’d use her every time if we could, but she books up fast! If you see she’s available on your dates my only advice would be to book her immediately!”

Elliot L.
“Elliot is my first choice for pet sitting, for myself, and for others. He is kind, responsible, and flexible. He is great with my cats and is also great with dogs. There are not a lot of people I trust with my home and my fur babies, but he is one of them- for sure!”

Micha K.
“Micha has been a responsible pet owner for as long as I’ve known her. She has raised several cats and currently has a cat and dog that she raised both from the time they were babies. She consistently takes them for vet visits and spends ample time with them to enrich their lives. She would make a great addition to the rover team!”

Carlos D.Star Sitter
“Carlos saved our marriage! 😅 My husband wanted a puppy, but he was so overwhelmed with the training of the puppy we got, it was stressing us both out. Carlos took several different opportunities to help us learn how to train the puppy to "come" and stay on her "place" (where she sits on her cot). He helped us find a good collar for walking her, training her to not run ahead or strain at the leash. It sounds dramatic, but my husband had begun to lose hope we would ever have a well-behaved puppy. But Carlos gave us hope! Also, he took her for a weekend and worked on social training (getting along with other dogs), obeying during distractions, and even got her to "sit" on her place during an entire public church service! Remarkable. We highly, highly recommend him as a dog-sitter, dog-trainer or coach. He is calm, in charge, and intuitive and he is certainly worth hiring!”
