“We went out of town for 13 days and we had Rachel do drop in visits for our cat, Bella (we have to take our 2 older dogs with us). We did a meet & greet with Rachel coming over to meet our kitty and Rachel also agreed to feed our fish every other day! (We just returned home yesterday) She did a great job for us and our babies left behind, I very much would Love to use her again! Our cat Bella doesn’t at all like when we leave and so he was very elusive but we did get updates and pics of the fish ? they were more outgoing LoL (& captive in a tank..haha) anyways if Rachel would be willing to help us again in the future it would be great with us!! Rachel’s super sweet, down to earth, friendly and made me feel comfortable! And I highly recommend her for anyone who needs to feel at peace with a sitter or in our case to do drop in visits!! About: My house has always been a home to a wide variety of pets, from dogs and cats to tortoises, bunnies, fish, and hamsters. Growing up surrounded by them means caring for animals has become a natural part of my life, and I developed a deep love for them early on. I am currently working part-time as an intern at ASU, and hours are very flexible, so I can be available to care for your pets whenever needed! I would feed them on schedule and play with them for hours. I would follow the exact instructions given and make sure to give them their medicine on time if necessary.

Pet sitting is not just something to bring in an extra income but something that brings real joy, happiness, and fulfillment to my life. While having an animal for me, every single day isn’t realistic unfortunately ,I find that the ability to do this periodically throughout the year and to be around animals is very rewarding . This also gives me the ability to focus entirely on your animal and the comfort they need when family is away. I did security for nine years and have a level one fingerprint clearance card. I will treat your home with respect and when watching animals and my own home, I do not watch multiple animals from different households to ensure that no issues were to ever arise in a negative altercation. I do have a preference of housesitting at clients homes due to just the comfortability of the animals environment not changing. They tend to already have a little bit of anxiety with the owner, leaving and changing their environment can sometimes for some animals heighten that anxiety.

“I am a veterinarian with many high-needs animals, and I am particular about who I hire to help with our pets. Josi has taken care of our (large) crew for years! She has cared for our 4 (previously 6!) dogs and 1 cat on many occasions. They are a big group with some behavioral issues/nuances, and I fully trust her to handle them safely. They also all have their own food foods, medications, and feeding instructions - and she pays close attention to detail in ensuring this is handled correctly. Josi has stopped in to check on them/give breaks on long days away and has held the fort down on weekends/weeks away. Our animals all love her and she adores them like they are her own pets. She always takes the time to give them affection, throw the ball for a dog, and sit with them. Our cat loves when she visits and immediately meows and demands attention and petting from her. She has been punctual, always showing up for our crew when expected and also has been available to help us with last minute requests many times. She is communicative, reliably responsive, and always friendly. I trust her completely with my pets and my home and would highly recommend her for any pet care needs.”
