Pet Sitting Sunburst Farms

About: My house has always been a home to a wide variety of pets, from dogs and cats to tortoises, bunnies, fish, and hamsters. Growing up surrounded by them means caring for animals has become a natural part of my life, and I developed a deep love for them early on. I am currently working part-time as an intern at ASU, and hours are very flexible, so I can be available to care for your pets whenever needed! I would feed them on schedule and play with them for hours. I would follow the exact instructions given and make sure to give them their medicine on time if necessary.

“We went out of town for 13 days and we had Rachel do drop in visits for our cat, Bella (we have to take our 2 older dogs with us). We did a meet & greet with Rachel coming over to meet our kitty and Rachel also agreed to feed our fish every other day! (We just returned home yesterday) She did a great job for us and our babies left behind, I very much would Love to use her again! Our cat Bella doesn’t at all like when we leave and so he was very elusive but we did get updates and pics of the fish ? they were more outgoing LoL (& captive in a tank..haha) anyways if Rachel would be willing to help us again in the future it would be great with us!! Rachel’s super sweet, down to earth, friendly and made me feel comfortable! And I highly recommend her for anyone who needs to feel at peace with a sitter or in our case to do drop in visits!! About: I have had the ability to have 2 small shelter rescue dogs, Neptune and Apollo. Neptune is no longer with us, but he and Apollo were both well trained and loved life. I have grown up around dogs and dog sat for several family members and friends in the past. I will make sure your dog is having fun and loving life when they are with me. I am currently a college student and have a very flexible schedual with most afternoon and evenings available along with the weekends. I do attend church for 2 hours on Sunday, but other than that I can be with your pet all weekend long. I check water bowls every hour and set alarms on my phone to make sure I never miss feeding time or medication. I play with your pets and take them on long walks when it is safe temperature wise to do so. Any medical concern will be run by the pet parent first unless a dire emergency arises, in which I will need preference(s) for vet(s) in the area listed ahead of time.

About: The three of us would like to welcome your dog(s) as our guests! I (Jacky) was a professional pet sitter for 16 years, then left the business while we prepared to be parents. Our son is now 10 years old and he is sweet and gentle to animals. We had two dogs and lost them a couple of years ago. We were all heartbroken! We started pet sitting trying to fill the holes in our hearts. Then the owner of one of our frequent guests let us know that she had to rehome one of her dogs. The pets we watch are truly like temporary parts of our family... so he became ours! We are thrilled to now have a new family member! King is a sweetheart but we believe in proper dog introductions - meeting in a neutral place first, going for a walk together, then inviting your dog(s) into our home. No aggressive dogs or dogs that aren't good with kids, please. Thank you! I work part-time but am trying to work as little as possible so I can be as much of a full-time mom as I can. I will be your dog's mom too while you are away! My husband also adores dogs and can help out in the mornings and evenings. Your dog is allowed on our furniture and has free range of our home. We don't have a doggy door but we have a wonderful big backyard and we are home a lot to let your dog(s) out. We love to walk! We can give medicine, brush your dog, respect your wishes and dog's dietary needs to share food or not, and otherwise just make him/her a part of our family while in our care! Alex and I are available much of the day between the two of us. I (Jacky) work mostly from home, although I do some personal training for clients in their homes on the side. I work away from home maybe 15 hours a week, and almost never more than 4 hours away at a time. My husband is home in the mornings and evenings and enjoys pet care, too! Pets are not just pets to us, they are family. We want your dog(s) to be good friends with our dog! We will take your dog(s) for walks, feed them on your schedule, give as much petting as possible, encourage play with toys, and snuggle as much as your dog(s) enjoy.
