“I dropped off my 7 lb chihuahua, Molly, for a daycare session with Hana yesterday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I’ll admit I was really nervous at first, Molly is tiny, and there were two other dogs there, one of whom was super excited to meet a new friend. So much energy can make Molly hesitant, but Hana immediately stepped in with calm, confident leadership. She set clear boundaries to help everyone settle down, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Throughout the day, she sent me several videos showing Molly relaxed and happy, calmly hanging out with the other dogs and going for a nice walk. By the end of the day, Molly was curled up on the couch with Hana, her husband, and her two new friends, a huge sign of trust from my usually cautious little dog! Hana showed wonderful leadership, genuine care, and constant attention throughout the day. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful to have found someone so capable and kind. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

We felt completely confident leaving Vigo with her for two consecutive days while we visited Sacramento. Katherine has an excellent system for thoughtfully and safely socializing dogs, and it was clear that Vigo felt comfortable with her and engaged right away. Our dog has A LOT of energy and loves to run and play, and he was genuinely happy and very content when we picked him up both days. We couldn’t have been happier with the care Vigo received. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone with dogs of any breed or temperament. We wish she lived closer to us for regular stays but will absolutely go back to her any time we’re in the area.”

About: Hi! We are a dog loving family that loves to spoil our pups. My husband and I work from home so we are always hanging out with our 2 pups! We used to have a senior dog who passed away 2 years ago and understand the type of care a dog needs (emotionally and physically). We’d be happy to accommodate our schedule to meet your dog’s needs and make sure your pup is happy and tired! We do meetups to make sure our pups get along and we also have a huge dog crate! Feel free to ask us anything and can’t wait to hang out and spoil your pup! Our Schedule: We like to run our dogs in the morning to a nearby park then they eat breakfast afterwords. We hang out all morning with bathroom breaks then we will go for an afternoon walk to the park. They eat dinner and relax until evening. We have a decent fenced yard where our pups can run around! We also have a long hallway where we can throw a ball if it’s raining outside. We clean all of our pup’s feet to ensure no bacteria is left on their paws and make sure they are all treated with flea spray before your pups arrive.

“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: Sacramento sitter with cats and experience in caring for elderly dogs. Home full-time, calm with anxious pets, and reliable for last-minute requests. Comfortable with administering medicine. For a long time, my daily routine centered on my elderly dog, his meals, his medications, his slow morning walks. Since he passed, I've had a lot of time, energy, and love that used to be his and nowhere to put it. My cats at home are sweet but pretty independent. Honestly, they prefer some space from me, and they're perfectly happy when I'm out caring for someone else's pet. I'm home most of the day, my schedule is genuinely open, and pet care isn't something I'm squeezing in around my life. t's where I want to spend the time. I can do midday drop-ins, multiple visits a day, last-minute requests, and weekday walks without it cutting into anything else. Honestly, I'd rather be outside than in. When I'm caring for your pet at your home, expect long walks, park trips, and as much fresh air and exercise as your dog has the legs for. I'm a big believer in tiring a pup out the good way. Real movement, sniff time, and play, rather than letting them snooze on the couch all afternoon. I even make sure senior pups get their sniff time in by making a 20 minute walk around the block last a couple hours with plenty of breaks and water! For cats, I focus on play sessions, brushing, and one-on-one attention before topping off food and water. I do have an apartment if you ever need a place to drop your dog off, but I'll be upfront: I share it with cats, so it's only a fit for calm, cat-friendly pups. For everyone else, I'll happily come to you.
