He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. About: I’ve been around/cared for dogs for more than 20 years of my life and still continue doing so. From having my own dogs at home to taking care of dogs in other peoples homes, I make sure to do my best work when taking care of them. I’m currently working from home, but with very flexible time. This gives me lots of time to be able to spend time with your pups here at my house or simply to just give them time to enjoy the outside in your own home/place. There may be some weekends where I can offer boarding or check-in’s. I have a huge fenced yard along with two playful pups that would love to have friends over to run around with or simply keep company for naps. I make sure to follow each rule and direction that is given to me in order to make your fur baby’s stay/check in as smooth as possible.

I am in between jobs so I am free to work with whatever schedule you have. If you have leftover food that needs to be used, I’d be happy to not let them go to waste. Having two fur babies of my own I know the importance of having someone you trust take care of them. I would treat your pets as if they were my own. Pets are family and should be treated with love, compassion, and respect. I have taken care of animals of all ages. I can give medication if needed. I would love to spend time with your pets when you are not able to. I currently work part time from home and have a flexible schedule. I would have plenty of time to spoil your fur babies with walks and belly rubs. I can do doggy daycare and boarding almost any day and time as long as your dog is tolerant to other dogs and is up to date on vaccinations. About: I had dogs for my entire childhood and as an adult, I regularly volunteer at our local shelter to take shelter dogs out for the day to help socialize them, give them love, and to just give them a change of scenery. I would be honored to care for your fur baby! I currently work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, so I have very flexible availability those days so I can fit your pup’s needs. I work Tuesday through Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm, but am fully available afterwards. I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of space for your pup to run around if needed. “Katherine was a fantastic sitter for our senior pup Amara and I would happily be a return customer! She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality. She was very thorough, even communicating which vet she would use in case of emergency (don’t worry, no emergencies occurred!). They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. Amara was a very happy girl at the end of her stay and I would definitely recommend Katherine as a Rover sitter!”
