About: Hi there! I proudly served 7 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy, and now I get to dedicate my time to something I’ve always loved-caring for animals! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and truly enjoy spending time with dogs of all kinds. I recently moved here from Washington State. Along with Rover, I was a caretaker and dog groomer of 8-10 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and their puppies. I am happy to open my home to your pups, whether it's for daycare or boarding, or even a couple hours. I have two separate fenced in yards and no kids. Willing to work with each client to provide afforable rates. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am currently home full time and have lots of time to care for your pets! I have one dog that is a Miniature Pinscher named Pico that does well with other dogs. I’m super flexible so just let me know the specifics of what you need so I can make this experience the best for your pup. Will take TONS of pictures and provide daily updates. I will always respect your furry family members. I have experience with dog walking, dog grooming, separation anxiety, dog reactivity, anxious animals, older dogs, and dog boarding.

We appreciate that he is flexible with our schedule and treats Simba like family. Simba is always excited to go to daycare as he starts to show excitement when we approach Brandan’s home and runs up to his door! “Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

I want to say that although it did't work out for us, I appreciate the direct, clear, and professional communication from Jill and Liz. Their yard is huge and Roxie did have fun while outdoors. Got some great pics. Bummed, but glad to have had my girl experience their care.”

Because of that, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I care for my own two young dogs every day, so pet care is already a major part of my routine. When I'm not working, I spend time walking, training, playing with, and caring for them. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets in my care and make sure they receive the attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. In my home, dogs have access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can play, exercise, and explore safely under supervision. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate-trained or need a quiet place to relax. If a dog needs their own space, I can separate them using a dog gate and provide a comfortable area in my home where they can rest safely. I always monitor interactions between pets and make sure each dog is comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their owners are away. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and caring environment where every pet feels at home.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was young. From dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles, neighbors, friends and family members have trusted me to care for their pets. I plan my schedule to ensure every pet receives the attention, care, and consistency they deserve.
