About: Hi there! I proudly served 7 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy, and now I get to dedicate my time to something I’ve always loved-caring for animals! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and truly enjoy spending time with dogs of all kinds. I recently moved here from Washington State. Along with Rover, I was a caretaker and dog groomer of 8-10 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and their puppies. I am happy to open my home to your pups, whether it's for daycare or boarding, or even a couple hours. I have two separate fenced in yards and no kids. Willing to work with each client to provide afforable rates. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am currently home full time and have lots of time to care for your pets! I have one dog that is a Miniature Pinscher named Pico that does well with other dogs. I’m super flexible so just let me know the specifics of what you need so I can make this experience the best for your pup. Will take TONS of pictures and provide daily updates. I will always respect your furry family members. I have experience with dog walking, dog grooming, separation anxiety, dog reactivity, anxious animals, older dogs, and dog boarding.

“Brandan is great with our one year old fur baby! Simba has separation anxiety, but Brandan stays patient with him and attends to his needs to make him comfortable. We appreciate that he is flexible with our schedule and treats Simba like family. Simba is always excited to go to daycare as he starts to show excitement when we approach Brandan’s home and runs up to his door! “Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

“First two. daycare experiences were great for both parties. The third day, we discovered that Roxie's reaction to Jill and Liz's cats was too strong and it was no longer a good fit. I want to say that although it did't work out for us, I appreciate the direct, clear, and professional communication from Jill and Liz. Their yard is huge and Roxie did have fun while outdoors. Got some great pics. Bummed, but glad to have had my girl experience their care.”
About: I’ve had the joy and experience of owning and caring for dogs just about my entire life. I’m an animal lover who has also owned and cared for turtles and birds. I have bred Labrador Retrievers, Pekingese’s, and Cairn Terrier’s which has given me the experience and joy of caring for pregnant dogs and litters of puppies. I have a big house In a very good neighborhood located about 3 miles off of the 101 freeway. I keep my yard, crates, and dog houses very clean and safe. I keep the dog water buckets filled with clean water. My location is very convenient for North or Southbound travelers. I have a very big backyard and big side yards. I have a separate and spacious enclosed dog run area. I have many dog crates and dog houses. I have lots of love and doggie treats. I am about 3 miles from the ocean and am able to take dogs to the beach if that’s what they love. I have a big den and very comfortable couches that I cover with blankets during the evening and watch television with my Labrador Retrievers. We make awesome fires in our fireplace on cold nights

I don’t just “check in” on them I try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I take time to learn their personality, routines, and little habits so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar to them. I have experience with both young and senior pets. With puppies, I’m patient and consistent with things like potty training, basic commands, and building good habits. With older pets, I understand they may need a slower pace, extra attention, or help with things like medication and sticking to a routine. I’m also big on communication I like to send updates and pictures so you know your pet is doing well. Overall, I just treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel as happy and stress free as possible. I currently live with my partner and my puppy all i do at home is do online school and take care of my puppy all day! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and owned my own for over 30 years. I’ve house trained my own dogs from puppy stage to senior age. I currently own a Siberian Husky and care for two additional huskies. I enjoy brushing, playing and bathing them. I’m retired and pretty much available all week, unless I leave to visit family. My schedule is very flexible although I do have a feeding routine for my own dog (am and pm). I have a decent size yard that is fenced. I have a 4 year old Siberian Husky who is very friendly and loves to play. I do crate dogs if they get out of hand and need timeouts. I allow dogs inside and outside.
