“Nikki provided numerous pictures during Coco's boarding. I feel confident that Coco enjoyed her stay. Nikki is a professional and responed quickly! Will definitely use her services in the future, and have already scheduled another stay!!”

“Sarah was wonderful! Our dog is 10 years old and has been sick so he’s on several medications twice a day and Sarah took wonderful care of him. I was incredibly anxious about leaving him and she provided daily updates and pictures that showed he was in great hands. We picked him up and he was perfectly happy and seemed to have had a great time with Sarah and her family! Would absolutely recommend and would love for Sarah to watch any of our pets in the future!”

“Megan was absolutely fantastic!! We boarded our large breed dog, Dutch, with her for over a week while out of town and had an amazing vacation knowing that our pup was being loved and cared for like her own. We loved getting the frequent updates and pictures showing he was having a blast, and Megan always communicated quickly and was extremely flexible with scheduling our pick up and drop off times. We will definitely be trusting her with our pup again, 10/10 seriously cannot recommend her enough!!”

“I wish I could give 20 stars. We entrusted our 10 year old German Shepherd with Lainey for 10 days over Thanksgiving. I was so worried our dog would think we abandoned him because he tends to have separation anxiety. We couldn’t be happier with how well our dog was treated. Constant updates and pictures where he looked SO happy. No separation anxiety at all! He was loved on played with and walked, we were worried he wouldn’t want to come home! Lainey and her husband treated him like their own. They even sent him home with a present and a wonderful card. I means everything to have found someone we can trust our fur baby with, especially with his health issues she was on top of all his meds and supplements. I will absolutely use Lainey for Jake in the future!”

“Katie and David were very accommodating with two last minute changes to our booking! They provided updates and photos the entire time I was gone. I will definitely use them next time a sitter is needed and recommend you to book with them.”

“Kali is an excellent caregiver, my dog was very comfortable and happy with his good friends. I recommend Kali to take care of your pet, she kept us informed about our dog every day, she sent us many photos. Thank you for taking care of our Rufo.”

“Hannah did a great job with our pup! Sent lots of pictures and our boy was happy when we picked him up. Sounds like he got lots of spoiling while we were gone. Definitely will use again!”

About: Hi, I’m Stefania! 🐾 I’m a dog mom to a 14-year-old Miniature Poodle and a rescue Australian Cattle Dog, so I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, including senior dogs with special diets and medications. I’m patient, responsible, and love helping dogs feel safe and comfortable. I’m an active person who enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and plenty of cuddles! I’ll treat your pup like my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! Caring for pets is already a big part of my daily life. I start most mornings with walks or playtime with my own dogs, so adding extra furry friends into my routine feels natural. I'm available early in the morning and on weekends, which makes it easy for me to help with walks, drop-ins, or longer visits when you need them most. Because I'm active and love being outside, spending time with pets fits seamlessly into how I already live my life. Whether it's starting the day with some exercise, giving mid-day potty breaks, or making sure pets get attention and care of the weekends, I make pet care a priority in my schedule. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in yours, I treat every animal like they're part of the family. I follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible-whether that means feeding schedules, medication, potty breaks, or favorite playtimes-so they feel comfortable and secure. In my own home, I make sure pets have a safe, welcoming environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation. Since I have both a senior dog and a young, active pup, I'm used to balancing different needs and making sure each dog gets the right amount of exercise, attention, and rest. In a clients home, I'm respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet's environment clean, safe, and stress-free. I'll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your furry family member is happy and well cared for while you're away.

“It was the first time we used Rover and Bria with his charisma made us feel confident and calm to leave in her hands our naughty dogs. She took out of her time a day before to meet our dogs, Her dog Toot is very sweet and loving and our Honey had a lot of fun with his new friend. Bria is very kind, caring and a true dog lover, she periodically sent us photos to kept us updated on our children. She was very concerned that they returned home very clean and fragrant. I know that Bria gave them a lot of love and attention and of course we would leave them in their hands next time. She is a perfect match, we love her. Thank you so much, Bria. HONEY and MJ LOVE YOUUU.”

“Omg what can I say! Angela did such an amazing job with my pity while I’ve been on vacation! There is no doubt that I’ll be using her services again in the future! Please consider her when you’re looking for a dog sitter!”

About: I’ve been known to snuggle on the floor with every dog who isn’t able to be on the furniture, ha! I truly just love dogs (and cats!) and wouldn’t be satisfied without making yours feel special and loved while you are away. I currently work full-time Monday-Friday. (Friday is a short-day) I can house sit pretty much any day of the week, but the days I work I will be gone for 8 hours. (But I work downtown, so if you book with me there I can leave for lunch breaks!) I’m happy to provide walks and playtime before and after work.. and extra on my days off! When at a client’s home I am sure to follow all of the rules pertaining to your pet and everything else! I care for each home like I would an honored guest/loved one. I am also able to bring your pet to my apartment (depending on breed unfortunately) if that is something you’d prefer and they’d be comfortable with :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Swamp Fox home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Swamp Fox.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Swamp Fox sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
