“My babies were so well taken care off. It feels so good to be able to leave them and not to have to worry that they are ok. Hannah send me pictures and updates every day. I am so very pleased and will definitely ask her in the future to watch them again.”

“Mr. Zadok was extremely awesome and stayed in communication with me the entire time my dog stayed with him! He sent pictures of him along with his pets during their play times! Very convenient and easily to get along with, definitely recommend his services! Thanks again Mr. Z, Junior will definitely return to you!! :)”

“I have never boarded a dog before so this was a first for me and my pup Oliver. After reading Jeanne and Tyson's bio and seeing all the other wonderful reviews I decided that it would be a good fit for Oliver and my sanity with leaving my pup in someone else's care. Oliver enjoyed his stay and I was super pleased to see how well they had cared for him and the others. Their set up for dog boarding is safe, calming, functional and overall a great set up. I highly recommend Jeanne and Tyson for boarding your dog!!!”

“Tonianne kept us informed of how our puppy was doing the whole time. We felt very comfortable knowing he was well taken care of. We will definitely book with her again.”

“Genny took excellent care of our dog! From the meet and greet, to all the pictures she sent during his stay, we knew he was loved and in good hands. Her dog is very friendly and was a great playmate for our dog.”

“Katie and David were very accommodating with two last minute changes to our booking! They provided updates and photos the entire time I was gone. I will definitely use them next time a sitter is needed and recommend you to book with them.”

“Leo, an older, a little nervous, terrier was welcomed by Marina and both her dogs immediately. Lots of pictures were sent showing Leo doing all the things he loves to do. I'm very happy to have found her and fully plan on taking Leo on another vacation to Marina's. Thank you!”

“Lunas stay at Caitlin’s was great! She had a blast with Chloe and was so cared for while we were out of town! Caitlin sent updates and pictures every day and I know Luna was in good hands!! Thanks for taking such good care of my girl.”

“She was great with our 6.5 month old puppy! He absolutely adored her and was so excited to get dropped off after meeting her only once at the meet and greet. She was great with providing us updates and photos even for only one night. We will definitely use her again.”

“Did a wonderful job taking care of my sweet boys! Chris was very nice and patient with my nervousness as a first time rover user. He sent me pictures and updates showing me how much my boys were enjoying their stay with him. The boys and I are all happy customers.”

“Hands down the best sitter we’ve ever had! took such incredible care of Frankie. Between daily walks, outings with her dog, and her sweet kids giving him so much love, Frankie felt right at home. He normally freaks out from separation anxiety when I pick him up, but he was completely calm and happy. That spoke volumes! Absolute green flags all around—we’ll definitely be using them again whenever we can.”

“Kathy was great! She gave daily updates and followed the care instructions completely. Cosmo had a great time and was well taken care by Kathy. Highly recommend her for your pet needs!”

“We had a fantastic experience! Our two boxers were so well cared for, and we really appreciated the daily updates and pictures. It gave us great peace of mind while we were away. They also loved playing with their two sweet Great Danes—such a great bonus! Highly recommend and would definitely book again.”

“Juliet took great care of my Shih Tzu mix, Dali! From the very beginning, she was excellent at communicating and made me feel comfortable leaving him in her care. We did a meet and greet beforehand so Dali could meet her dogs, and she was very attentive throughout the whole process. She asked lots of thoughtful questions to make sure she understood Dali’s needs and routine so she could care for him the best way possible. During his stay, she constantly sent updates, pictures, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was also very flexible and understanding when my flight got delayed and I ended up picking Dali up an hour later than planned. When I picked him up, he looked very happy and well cared for. She also cared for our other dog, and we had a great experience as well. We’ll definitely be booking with her again! I 100% recommend her — she is amazing!”

About: Hi, I’m Stefania! 🐾 I’m a dog mom to a 14-year-old Miniature Poodle and a rescue Australian Cattle Dog, so I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, including senior dogs with special diets and medications. I’m patient, responsible, and love helping dogs feel safe and comfortable. I’m an active person who enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and plenty of cuddles! I’ll treat your pup like my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! Caring for pets is already a big part of my daily life. I start most mornings with walks or playtime with my own dogs, so adding extra furry friends into my routine feels natural. I'm available early in the morning and on weekends, which makes it easy for me to help with walks, drop-ins, or longer visits when you need them most. Because I'm active and love being outside, spending time with pets fits seamlessly into how I already live my life. Whether it's starting the day with some exercise, giving mid-day potty breaks, or making sure pets get attention and care of the weekends, I make pet care a priority in my schedule. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in yours, I treat every animal like they're part of the family. I follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible-whether that means feeding schedules, medication, potty breaks, or favorite playtimes-so they feel comfortable and secure. In my own home, I make sure pets have a safe, welcoming environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation. Since I have both a senior dog and a young, active pup, I'm used to balancing different needs and making sure each dog gets the right amount of exercise, attention, and rest. In a clients home, I'm respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet's environment clean, safe, and stress-free. I'll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your furry family member is happy and well cared for while you're away.

“David and family are always great with communication, sending frequent updates and photos. This stay, they noticed Laila wasn’t acting like her usual self. She was sleeping more and hanging her head down. Edith looked in her ears and noticed an infection. She immediately contacted me, and offered to give doggy ibuprofen (with my permission), and/or call the emergency vet (since it was Christmas). I truly appreciate how attentive they are to all my dog’s needs!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Nelson Hill home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Nelson Hill.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Nelson Hill sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
